Country music sensation Zach Top is coming to Brandon this fall.
Now, if some of you want to see some real music, i.e. metal, Evanescence and Poppy are coming to the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater September 11.

Is this the new gig for Zach Service since he won't be the new mayor?
A country concert at the Brandon Amphitheater? NO WAY! Never heard of him...
The bookings at the Brandon Amphitheatre shows that country is 66% of all bookings.
ONE metal show since 2017.
Most (with the exception of 3, Breaking Benjamin, Staind and Creed) of the other non-country shows that are considered rock are the old casino tour bands they book while they are passing through. Half of those, I am surprised they are still alive.
Its a real waste of a really nice venue.
Butch is doing his best to keep the religious folks from freaking out I guess. The only reason there are liquor stores was to eliminate push-back when they didn't allow Medical MJ in Brandon.
Live Nation books the acts but make no mistake, Mayor Butch has the final say. This is normal operations for him. He sticks his nose in everything, every department. (talk to any former Brandon PD employee). He also makes sure he has the votes for things before bringing to a vote with the board of Aldermen. Brandon and Mississippi would benefit from a strict sunshine law similar to Florida rather than our weak open meetings act. If Brandon Citizens paid attention, they would see his shenanigans and he wouldn't keep getting re-elected. He posits himself as a CEO of Brandon more than the mayor.
1:42 yes, majority country, but they've had acts like James Taylor, Chicago, Steely Dan... upcoming Styx, Rod Stewart...
And the self-proclaimed religious freaks come to country and Christian acts with their megaphones, as if people are walking in to receive an abortion!
I damn sure didn't vote for him.
Creed and Staind playing casinos? They are playing venues with 8,000 or more. Hardly casino state fair circuit.
dat boy good
