Sometimes it’s good to review where we came from to appreciate where we are today. This past spring one of my students came into class shaking her head and complaining how bad things had become. I asked her what was going on, and she said gas prices were way too high. She was right, of course, but considering the context of where we were ten years earlier, things weren’t as bad as they seemed.
Donald Trump’s victory in the 2016 race was a major blow to the LEFT’s narrative, because his election disproved the narrative, enraging the LEFT and corporate media. Trump immediately became the number one target of the narrative. The LEFT’s premise became: “Trump is evil.” The corollary to this premise: “Everything Trump does is evil.” The conclusion: “It’s necessary to remove Trump from office and undo everything he has done.” The number two target of the LEFT’s narrative was to silence and vilify Trump’s supporters.
Thus, the LEFT coordinated all its resources and partners to remove Trump from office as quickly as possible by any means possible, and to guarantee Trump would lose the 2020 election if he had not already been removed. The 2020 election for president was certainly filled with a lot of campaigning and action from the Trump side. The Biden side stayed inside behind a host of COVID-19 facades that took the place of policy statements. Another presidential election was decided under dubious circumstances.
Fast-forward to the spring of 2021. As promised, President Biden began cancelling Trump’s policies that controlled the flow of immigrants coming across our southern border and eliminating tens of thousands of jobs in the oil and gas sector as his first order of business. Weeks later, tens of thousands followed by hundreds of thousands of migrants from every nation on earth began flowing across our southern border.
Gas prices and other commodities began rising sharply, and America lost its position as an energy independent nation. In fewer than seven months, President Biden effectively reversed Trump’s policies on the border, cancelled jobs in our oil and gas sector and made us dependent on foreign sources of oil and created a worldwide spectacle of epic proportion endangering tens of thousands of Afghans and Americans inside the country while simultaneously trashing America’s reputation with every nation on earth.
Remember the images of Afghans chasing military aircraft to escape from the Taliban. Many literally clung to the outsides of the planes as they ascended and then fell to their deaths. A suicide bombing at Abbey Gate during the evacuation killed 182 people, including 169 Afghan civilians and 13 members of our own military, the first American military casualties in Afghanistan since February 2020.
President Biden had trashed Trump’s plans for evacuating our troops despite concerns from his own military advisors that his changes would likely result in a Taliban takeover of the nation. Due to poor planning, Biden abandoned $85 billion in military arms including helicopters, airplanes, armored vehicles, drones, and all kinds of state-of-the-art weapons to the Taliban and al Qaeda. These terrorists became the envy of Islamic Jihadists worldwide overnight and partners with Russia, China, and Iran.
That’s what was going on five years ago. Then Dr. Fauci led government and media forces to control citizens’ actions and freedoms following the science.

I guess if you view CNN as fact based news reporting, instead of a left wing propaganda machine, you would think the column is deluded. Every event he describes actually happened. We’ve read the emails from Obama and Hillary creating the Russiagate hoax. We saw the legacy media, who once loved Trump, turn him into a supervillain just for running. Anyone who knows anything about real estate transactions knew that the Alvin Bragg case was total BS lawfare. If you have ever taken out a mortgage on your home, you did what Trump did. You worked with a bank and said I think my house is worth this amount, it’s up to you to get an appraisal to confirm that. We watched the disastrous Afghan withdrawal. Even if the $85 billion in hardware left behind has been downgraded to $7 - $10 billion lost, that’s inexcusable. We all saw the Afghan kid fall to his death after clinging on to the C-17 during takeoff. Even if we weren’t invaded by literally “every country on earth” we were still invaded and that is inexcusable. We all saw the illegal border crossing videos. I personally was affected by Biden’s retribution on middle American and pipeline killing executive orders. We’ve seen the reports that Biden drained the oil reserves so damn fast to bring down fuel prices before the midterms that it caused billions in damage to the equipment. We all saw the news reports of migrants raping and killing Americans. We’ve seen the reports, and now convictions, of illegals committing welfare fraud. We heard Laken Riley’s 911 phone call. We saw Jocelyn Nungary’s mom cry. We saw the kid sniffing. We saw the man confused, shaking hands with The Invisible Man, unable to find the stairs, unable to read his script. All this after being told that Joe Biden was the fittest president of all time. Not to mention that his prostate cancer was being hidden. All of these things happened and so much more.
You are the one who’s delusional.

2:02 PM. Those people do not know what happened during Bidens term. They do not listen to anything saying Biden was not the best and heathier than any other president. They only know what little the democrat politicians tell them. Democrats completely missed four years of life here in the U.S. And these people are actually allowed to vote. We sure need an IQ test given before a person is allowed to vote.

Trump ordered Pompeo to sign a deal with the Taliban in Qatar. They intentionally excluded the Afghan Government we spent years supporting. How do you expect a smooth transition when you make a deal with the enemy of the people that were working with you?
