The city of Jackson issued the following statement.
The City of Jackson Municipal Court announces updated public hours of operation designed to provide consistent, accessible, and convenient service to citizens and individuals conducting business with the Court.
Under the new schedule, the Municipal Court will be open to the public during the following hours:
Monday – Friday: 6:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Saturday: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
The updated hours reflect the Court’s ongoing commitment to providing meaningful access to court services while maintaining efficient and effective court operations. The schedule provides early-morning, evening, and Saturday access for individuals whose work, school, family, or other responsibilities may make it difficult to conduct court business during traditional business hours.
“The Municipal Court exists to serve the people of Jackson, and accessibility is an important part of that service,”said Chief Municipal Judge Lilli Bass. “These updated hours provide citizens with opportunities to address their court matters before or after the traditional workday and on Saturday mornings. Our goal is to operate a Municipal Court that is efficient, accessible, responsive, and committed to providing the highest level of service to our community.”
During public operating hours, individuals may conduct Municipal Court business, including making payments and addressing other matters handled through Court Services and the Traffic Division.
The Court also encourages individuals who are eligible to pay citations online to take advantage of the City’s convenient online payment option:

Holy $h!+ that's Data from Star Trek playing the Yugoslavian hillbilly.
"Night Court" was a great series! So funny!
Too bad there will be no Markie Post.
How about first getting some judges that aren't the "let 'em loose" bleeding hearts?
Good luck getting them to ever answer the phone. I've been calling and leaving messages to the number on the bottom of my ticket and no one answers or returns call. What a joke. Apparently, google reviews agrees with me:https://www.google.com/maps/place/Jackson+Municipal+Court/@32.2985022,-90.1848388,292m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m8!3m7!1s0x8628324da384c07f:0xde7b07dbd6b0abe6!8m2!3d32.2972561!4d-90.1838352!9m1!1b1!16s%2Fg%2F1vb9df20?entry=ttu&g_ep=EgoyMDI2MDgyNC4wIKXMDSoASAFQAw%3D%3D
