Someone got stupid at the Brookhaven Academy - Lamar Academy game this weekend at the MAIS Championships in Clinton.
The claim is Blueshirt1 is an injured player not a coach while Blueshirt2 is a Brookhaven Academy coach.

If the comment about Blueshirt 1 and Blueshirt 2 is correct, the MAIS should disqualify Blueshirt 1 for the remainder of his "career" and Blueshirt 2, at a minimum, should be disqualified from coaching in the MAIS. A fine example he is setting for his team.
The MAIS is a freaking joke that most areas in the state don’t take seriously. While I know why teams that recruit like the JA Arrows want it to continue, schools that don’t recruit and that want to play for actual state championships should join MHSAA.
If blueshirt1, the guy that stuck his are out when player ran out of bounds, is an injured player MAIS needs to check his birth certificate.
blueshirt1 is a high school sophomore
blueshirt2 is a coach
That player the coach knocked down shoulda Flopped over that bench & held his leg & screamed like a girl...The cameras woulda been right there while he was pointing to that coach...
Make us proud Brookhaven Academy.
People who believe the MHSAA doesn't recruit are in serious denial.
@7:13 teams that don’t recruit should join MHSAA? lol. Public schools recruit hard. Private schools were late to the party, but are recruiting hard as well.
Good guys won (Lamar) and that QB will carry that badge of honor the rest of his life.
Stay Classy, Brookhaven!!!!
shouldn't they have reviewed the play prior to handing out penalties? Bubba gonna Bubba.
They did. They took a while so I cut some of the wait time out.
Pretty clear scrub move right there.
The Lamar QB is a highly ranked baseball player that signed with MSU - will probably never see Dudy Noble as will be high draft pick in MLB
That injured player is a little b*#$% he steps into the kid, shoves him then tries to walk away to not incur the aftermath, then once he sees everyone else piling on the player he runs back towards it.
Saw a pic of JA celebrating their win. Some JA player was hiding his entire face after the game like he was in Alaska.
I thought that’s why people pay for JA? So they don’t have to deal with JPS bs.
BA is also where a player’s granddad, a couple of years ago, was allowed to ref their home games (not football) during their “undefeated” season at home. It was obvious that he did not know the rules of the game and was biased. The BA Parents screamed their heads off when they had to play in Jackson with actual refs that knew the rules as they had not had many fairly called games that season.
I know that is not about football, but speaks to what is acceptable at BA.
