Rankin County Sheriff Bryan Bailey issued the following statement.
From approximately 10:13pm yesterday
(Wednesday, 12/18/24) to 8:52am on today (Thursday, 12/19/24); the
Rankin County Sheriff’s Department Communications
Division received in excess of 20 phone calls where the 911 Dispatchers
were threatened with physical violence and the caller even threatened
to “blow up” the sheriff’s office.
After investigators with the sheriff’s
office obtained the call recordings and identified the suspect’s phone
number, Pace was found to be the subscriber.
At that time an arrest warrant was sought and obtained for Joshua Pace
through the Rankin County Court.
Once Pace was taken into custody it was
discovered that he was out on Parole through the MS Department of
Corrections for Elder Abuse. Joshua Pace is currently
being held at the Rankin County Detention Center on $100,000 bond.
This is an on-going investigation.
The Rankin County Sheriff’s Department would like to express its appreciation to the Pearl Police Department for their assistance in capturing Pace.
I'm thtupid! |
Kingfish note: Apparently Mr. Pace has an ax to grind against the Rankin County Sheriff's Office.
MDOC released him in October.

He should have used a burner that he had a random person purchase for him out of state somewhere, who he paid out of the site of any cameras.
I learned this from watching crime documentaries.
But very thtupid indeed!
What an idiot. Some people just can't help themselves.
Ron White was right…
Momma says "stupid is as stupid does".
Well damn - he wanted to be real famous..
Mission accomplished.
What is in his bloodstream.? We have to know
He has issues.
He looks like a good contender for a new goon squad.
Kingfish ... apparently.
He just wants to be back in. Life’s probably easier for him in there, he’s not bright, but now has no job to deal with, and free rent, three squares. It’s better for him and society.
homesick
Y’all don’t live in a world they live in. These fools love incarceration and the attention they get while being locked up!
Signed,
