The soft on crime Orleans Parish District Attorney became a crime victim. Fox8 reported:
“OPDA confirms that DA Williams and his 78-year-old mother were carjacked at gunpoint as he was helping her into a car,” office spokesman Keith Lampkin said in response to questions from Fox 8.
“DA Williams and his mother were unharmed and both thank the NOPD for their hard work tonight and every night responding to crime victims.”
No other details of the crime were immediately available. The New Orleans Police Department did not respond to questions about the incident late Monday night or early Tuesday. Article & video.
Perhaps the D.A. will understand how this woman felt after she was carjacked by someone enrolled in the Jason Williams catch & release program.

These are very popular programs embraced by the larger blue cities and approved by Soros, BLM, The View, Nobama, and MSNBC.
No way that guy should have still been on the street. I call this carjacking justice.
Did he email Soros to ask how he should feel about the incident?
The left will never learn. All it takes is a grain of common sense.
Newly elected GOP Governor Landry will work to clean the rot in NOLA. Vote Reeves in MS.
I hope the DA put the person that carjacked him and his mother into a counseling program.
Momma got to see the fruits of her child's labors.
Orleans Parish District Attorney Jason Williams campaigned in 2020 on a promise to never charge juvenile offenders as adults.
Then elderly Linda Frickey was dragged to death by 4 teens and he announced the teens would be charged as adults.
At that time, WWL reported "the community was outraged."
In New Orleans, crime statistics show the majority of carjackings in the city last year were committed by juveniles, with 100 juveniles arrested compared to 49 adults, many of which were between the ages of 18 and 21. In at least 64% of the 253 total cases, the stolen vehicles were quickly recovered, according to WWL-TV.
See, ain't nuttin. Those young people just needed a ride.
It's called RideSharing, fool. Some people use Uber. Some people use Glocks.
In the 80s, a phrase caught on: "The definition of a conservative is a liberal who got mugged."
Seems to be coming back in vogue. Funny how that works every generation or so.
