When we, or Israel drop a bomb that we KNOW will kill some civilians including children, we can always say, We don't target civilians and We don't target children....but they will still be dead. Part of modern warfare is public relations. Hamas is not good at P.R.

It’s one thing to cause harm as collateral damage because these psychopaths shield themselves in a civilian population. It’s altogether different to target children directly. That is all.

'Pockets'? Alarmingly, one of those pockets exists in our own elected government officials. And our own distinguished congressman, the honorable bennie thompson, is among them.

What I can’t understand is why Hamas instead of targeting children doesn’t use the humane tactic of shock-and-awe indiscriminate bombing.

Reading this morning Egypt is strengthening the wall on the Gaza side. Wonder why that is.

The majority of people can't relate to the hate that drives the people from that region. The century's that have passed, where generation, after generation of people are taught to hate another human simply because of their ancestor's hatred.

This is a hatred so deep, so controlling that the other groups are dehumanized, and viewed as less than human. This hatred has been given sacred protection by being codified into religious text. These text not only acknowledge this hatred, but demands attention to it, and devotion to it, while calling for the eradication of those that are hated.

No, I have no answer, I have only a broken heart for those that are caught up in a conflict they wish no part of. History tells us no one else has an answer, either. That's my opinion.

3:30 never served in Nam. He never has read history textbooks about war or war strategies or ethics or the differences governments and military regimes.

He doesn't know the difference in deliberately targeting children and brutally killing or raping them and/or forcing them into labor or that we have a history of punishing soldiers that do that sort of thing.

9:17 am Egypt is strengthening their wall to prevent Hamas from getting through and to be better able to get our citizens through as well as other innocents trapped in Gaza. They will need more humans and a strong enough wall to do that well and not be overrun with refugees.

And, so few seem to NOT understand, that Iran and other fundamentalist Islamic regimes were becoming more and more isolated and poorer and THAT was a factor in Hamas choosing now to attack before those new coalitions with US solidified.

This is about civilized humans vs uncivilized humans. This is are about punitive religion vs inspirational religion. This is about oppression or chaos with no rules vs freedom that only works with the rule of law to keep the uncivilized members of any society from running amok.

Some people insist on making rules for war like it was some sort of child's game. In a war there should not be any rules. After all the idea is to destroy the other side.

All religions were brutal from before Biblical times. Now there's television. We can see the brutality better. That is the only difference.

Israel has a RIGHT to defend their country as Israel did not go into another country brutally attacking innocent children, women and men. They have long been an ally to the US. Call Thai a war, conflict, whatever you decide to call this is not important to most of us. Innocent lives have ALREADY been lost and more will too. In seeing the Jewish children riding their bikes in the kiddish community peacefully playing is heart breaking now. Anyone supporting HAMAS will be held accountable and face whatever penalties the US and other countries deem lawful and necessary to protect their own people. GOD BLESS ISRAEL! THE UNITED STATES AND ALL COUNTRIES WHO SUPPORT ISRAEL! Prayer for all soldiers countries foreign and domestic in the days ahead. IF GOD IS WITH US, GET THEE BEHIND ME SATAN!
