Auburn might have lost the football game Saturday night but it won the battle of the bands as it put on a dazzling performance dedicated to none other than Metallica. Check out the performance in the video posted below.
Beavis & Butthead definitely approved of this performance .

One word description-AWESOME!
Thanks Kingfish. This Ole Miss fan thinks that was very cool!
Thanks for posting! This is what can be done when a school invests in, and appreciates, their band. The last time I was at an Ole Miss game, the band was crammed into a thin wedge of the endzone (where they were difficult to hear). When they did try to play, they were drowned out by Jock Rock songs playing over the PA. Just saying.
Best Post & Thread ever!
LSU doing same thing to its band . The Music Department managed to get the band moved from AD to Music. The music dept heirarchy always looked down on the band and coveted its funding. Well it got its way. Wicks retired, and they ran off Linda Moorehouse. The Music Dept. appointed mediocre band directors and the band has gone down big time over the last several years.
Nice but they need to spend that money on a quarterback.
I was at the Clinton vs South Panola game a few weeks back and Clinton's band was playing Neck and the fans were singing along with it. Odd as South Panola won the game and they are the Tigers but go Arrows Band!
That's badass. The choreography is amazing.
One of the best programs out there. The students are awesome.
This is bad ass! My son and I went to both nights of this tour and it didn’t disappoint.
Kudos to Auburn. Post some jsu Sonic Boom if you can.
The band looked great on the field, but the sound in the stadium was terrible.
It just looked great while compared to their football team. For those that don't understand, their football team looks like .......
That was tremendous!
Ok, credit due there, that was pretty damn good
I’d put Auburn’s band up against any in the SEC…except aTm’s, which is the gold standard.
