The University of Missouri issued the following statement:
A shooting at a concert at the Kamakazie Biker Club on Masonite Drive in Laurel left Mississippi native and All-SEC Missouri running back Ahmad Hardy wounded.
The shooting took place around 2 a.m. Sunday as the establishment was closing after an outdoor rap concert had ended. Laurel Police Department Sgt. Macon Davis described the scene as “a melee.” “There had been a scheduled concert there of some rappers, or maybe a couple of different rappers,” Davis said. "It drew a large crowd, and then gunshots rang out at the end.” Davis said they had two confirmed victims, Hardy being one of them, and a third confirmed victim. Hardy is reportedly in stable condition. Rest of article.

Culture rot.
Rap concert ending at 2 a.m. What could possibly go wrong.
Surprise!
The concert was rappers. No surprise there.
Rap, baby!
They shot a football star. They going to jail for sure. If it was a regular person, probation at best.
Now, NAACP, speak up about how these thugs stepped on Mr. Hardy's civil rights and take a stand to stop such actions!
Nah, no money to be made.
STOKES, he gone change some street names now!
1:38 for the win!
"Kamakazie Biker Club"...That sounds safe...
I advise all my grandchildren to attend activities during the day if possible like going out to eat, shopping or the movies.
These times the cockroaches are probably asleep or begging grandma for money. They usually come out during the hours of 11:00pm to 4:00am
When these young people decide to attend such events they should expect to get abused or shot! They have no freaking idea that they are going into a possible death trap!
These places need to require attendees to purchase medical and life insurance policies!
Do y’all young fools know the meaning of kamakazie? Meaning; suicide attacks!
Why risk your lives going to this nonsense! The degenerates that create havoc at these events have nothing to live for, no morals, no goals!
Looked up the place and it’s advertising for this event and others. Quite clear a kid with a $50mm future has no business being there. With such a bright future no reason to associate with the future less
No, it means “divine wind.”
Why does it seem that hip hop concerts are more dangerous than other music genres?
10:17pm I’ll bet his mom told him this a thousand times. These young men and women think they are invincible!
So, no blame to Laurel for allowing " clubs" to stay open that late and not to have law enforcement present at all crowd sized events? No sympathy for a fine football player at Missouri? And, y'all wonder why people assume every white person here is a racist?
Rude, crude, dumb, loud and redneck aren't bringing us jobs or winning us admiration. I wish skin did have all the smart/ethical/hardworking and empathy genes so we could recognize jerks and a-holes and crazy on sight. Would love wardrobe and taste to be a clue as well but know it isn't. Glad some of you are so dumb and unpresentable as to be obvious and so mean that it shows.
There was a time when Laurel wouldn't have allowed that mess. I guess the culture is taking over there too. It's funny how you don't hear about shootings at the Brandon Amphitheater.
In the Spring of 2015 Dak Prescotts last year at Mississippi State was attacked while in Florida at a Waka Flocka concert. After the incident Dak said, “ignorance happens, but be safe on Spring Break”.
People if you have anything going for you, there are some out there that have no dreams or nothing to look forward too in life, they will destroy everything you and your parents worked for. Please make wiser decisions and watch that kind of nonsense on Social Media if it’s that important to you.
And be in a safe place before dark thats when the cockroaches come out.
@8:59, a black kid with the future potential to change his family for generations gets his future put in jeopardy by blacks with no future and you somehow pivot to blaming white folks? Outstanding logic there.
Played with his uncle at USM, still consider him a good friend, really enjoyed seeing his nephew succeed. Some guys that don’t look like me apparently did not.
