Do you need to get those shoes shined but don't want to mess up your $1,500 Lucchese boots? You're in luck. Mr. Sam, the Shoe Shine Man, has a March special of two pairs of shoes for $25. $15 for a regular shine.
The Jackson icon shines shoes on Tuesday and Thursday from 10-4 at Great Scott. If you can't make it either of those days, no problem. Simply drop off your shoes at Great Scott and he will take care of them when he returns to work. Great Scott is open Monday through Saturday. Mr. Sam NO LONGER goes downtown.
Mr. Sam uses nothing but Saphir products.

He is the best.
Good to see one of Jackson's few remaining mainstays still around
He does a great job.
Some of the recently fired federal employees should take up this profession. They could do it at home.
That's a great deal. Add a $25 tip and it's still a great deal.
Used to get mine shined in the lobby of the New Royal Hotel, next door to the Paramount Theater back in 66. That guy could make a pair of penny loafers from Sears look like a million bucks. Two bits, and a dime tip..
Incredible price for the excellent work he does. He could charge double and still have as much business.
I've cut my own hair and polished my own shoes, boots and belts for 35 years. I had to experiment at first, then I learned some trix. It's great to save so much time and money and I never liked being in a barber shop to begin with.
I really wish I could afford to have shoes worthy of this skilled service.
This man is a legend.
