A woman who shot at another car during a road rage incident yesterday on I-220 earned herself a $2 million bond in Jackson Municipal Court today.
JPD arrested Angelic Bernard yesterday and charged her with attempted felony aggravated assault and aggravated drive-by shooting. A woman was driving to work yesterday on I-220 around 11 AM when Bernard allegedly began shooting at her car. The shots penetrated the vehicle's rear door.
JPD managed to track down Bernard thanks to information provided by the victim. Bernard said her friend shot at the victim but quickly changed her story to say the shooter was her boyfriend. JPD quickly determined she was not telling the truth and the rest is history.
Municipal Court Judge Jeffrey Reynolds called Bernard dangerous as he set her bond at $1 million per charge.
The 24 year-old Bernard is a McDonald's employee. She already faces a simple assault charge for an incident at Wendy's.

I remember when things were so simple at McDonald's. They had hamburgers, cheeseburgers, fries, shakes, chocolate or vanilla made the old way, and sodas. Employees didn't go crazy.
Had a brother in law who worked at the McDonalds (Maybe the first one in Jackson) on Highway 80 just west of where the J-Train offices are on Valley Street and H-80. back in the 1960s. He par fried then later second time fried the really good old style Mc Fries, cooked burgers and waited on customers, sometimes absolutely by himself and never shot at anyone. Well, eventually he became a cop and did shoot a guy one night, but the guy had it coming, because he fired first, so I am going to say it didn't count. He did get altimers and is now gone RIP.
