Red Alert! Red Alert!

The Lumumba war against Ted Henifin continues, courtesy of the Environmental Protection Agency.

The Lumumbas are not too happy with JXN Water and Receiver Ted Henifin. It sure is a shame when one can't loot and pass out sweetheart deals to friends, isn't it? Well, Chief of Staff Safiya Omari (PhD) and the Order of the Sisters of Rukia*  badgered the EPA with complaints until they got their way. WLBT reported:

Chief of Staff Safiya Omari said the city has reached out to the Environmental Protection Agency to raise concerns about the third-party administrator and urged residents to come out and speak to the EPA when the agency is in town later this week.

The EPA will hold community forums Thursday and Friday at JSU's E-Center on Raymond Road to discuss the future of Jackson's water system.

If you want to make your view known to the EPA:

If you don't want the people who ran the water system into the ground to screw it up again, let the EPA know how you feel at JacksonMSwater@epa.gov

* The Poor People's  Assembly bulletin:

The People Advocacy Institute invites you to participate in two important public meetings hosted by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ). These meetings are a critical opportunity for the community to provide input on mid- and long-term solutions to improve Jackson’s drinking water system.

Your feedback will play a key role in shaping the oversight and future of the drinking water system, as the EPA and DOJ continue working to ensure safe and reliable water for all Jackson residents.

Thursday, October 10th
Time: 6:00 PM
Location: Mississippi e-Center at Jackson State University, 1230 Raymond Road, e-Logistics Room

Friday, October 11th
Time: 10:00 PM
Location: Mississippi e-Center at Jackson State University, 1230 Raymond Road, California Room

The EPA and DOJ have received input from the public in previous meetings, as well as through letters, emails, and phone calls. These upcoming meetings will offer an additional opportunity to share your voice on the future of Jackson’s drinking water system.

We encourage all members of the community to attend and be part of this important conversation. Your involvement is essential to ensuring that the long-term solutions reflect the needs and concerns of our community.

We look forward to seeing you there!

In Solidarity,

Rukia Lumumba
Founder, People’s Advocacy Institute

Cool graphic. I will send a comment supporting Henefin.

Rukia! Pay your taxes!

Just imagine where we could be if we didn't have to tolerate this marxist agitator bullshit and just imprisoned them for being communists.

I emailed supporting Ted, but I doubt it matters. Politicians no longer care what the people want...if they ever did.

“Chief of Staff Safiya Omari (PhD) and the Order of the Sisters of Rukia* badgered the EPA with complaints until they got their way.”

EPA controlled by DEI leftist Democrats, Jackson controlled by incompetent leftist Democrats that keep getting elected by purposely kept poor low IQ voters; what else should we have expected?

Anonymous said...

KF- isnt there an EPA order and fine that is outstanding against the COJ , which was hidden my the mayor and still outstanding/never satisfied?

Anonymous said...

People need to attend this!! Someone should tell them Jackson water isn’t for sale for a bag of money on a boat!

The problem for the solidarity faction is not that a failed water system was returned to standard and reliable functionality in record time and continues to so operate. No, the sisters of Rukia and the Lumumba party are furious that white people are getting credit for the turn around. Now that the system is well on its way to being sound again, the poor folks coalition is ready to take it back over and start claiming that valuable credit for a job well done. Until they run it in the ground again and need the opportunistic feds to feed it more money and competent manpower.

The Friday meeting is at 10:00 PM?

Already sent a detailed letter.

Specifically noted in my letter that the People's Advocacy Institute and Rukia Lumumba do not represent Jackson in any regard beyond the few members of their group.

Encourage every Jacksonian reading this to do the same.

Hope you are there covering this Kingfish.

West Jackson should be up by about 5PM.

If the Lumumbas wanted to be known as problem solvers instead of corrupt grifters they could try something radical like...solving problems.

The third and final film in a recent series I dare not call by name, posits that our cities are deliberately (and in a coordinated fashion) being destroyed, so that those within the faction coordinating the destruction, can rush in and buy the land/infrastructure/viable structures, for next-to-nothing.

My personal belief, is that this is true. Jackson is a minor example of this, but a very good example. Those in power at the highest levels, have no desire or intent, to make things better.

So, the EPA OIG found that COJ (in it's current strong mayor form) lacked Technical, Managerial, and Financial Capacity and then proceeded to try to blame the State MSDH for not providing enough assistance. If one focuses on this as a point of fact in comments the EPA cannot recommend returning the water system to the COJ oversight alone without the esteemed Federal agency itself being accusable of being arbitrary and capricious. See Page 8 of the EPA OIG political finger pointing: https://www.epaoig.gov/sites/default/files/reports/2024-05/_epaoig_20240513-24-p-0038_cert.pdf

Those looney Toons the Lumumba’s couldnt run a successful Church’s Franchise, much less a city.

Oh well. Chalkline lost the water dept grift but he's still got the Thalia Mara Hall surcharge working.

Anonymous said...

This is the same MDHS that begged the city for years to fix the water system, before finally calling in the EPA, whose report the mayor buried for a year, right?

If I remember correctly, the federal court overseeing the water system already gave Rukia a full hearing on these issues and ruled against her.

I suspect they now have Kristin Clarke at DOJ carrying their water for them, so to speak, spurred on by Harvey Johnson's brother Derrick at the NAACP.

This meeting should be held at Thalia Mara hall. The EPA can check out the mold while they are there.

Anonymous said...

All the while COJ was asking non residents to donate water, as the Mayor is incapable of his duties to manage the COJ.

Chok has to go. It has been so nice without weekly boiled water alerts. If chok could get out of the way Jackson might take a step forward instead of two steps back

I wouldn't recommend being anywhere near Raymond Road on a Friday at 10pm. I remember the cop who was murdered at the intersection of Raymond and West Highland like it was yesterday. I think of him every time I travel through there. Or the store owner just down Raymond Road past Shady Lane murdered in cold blood. Or the store clerk, (at what is now called Shakti Mart), going the opposite direction towards Robinson Road Extended, who was shot point blank in the head.

@4:49 Yup and being legally armed doesn't matter anymore because all the illegally armed criminals have full auto weapons. Somehow even 14 year old kids have glocks with switches.

You who write EPA, or risk your life to attend EPA forums in SW Jackson, please refer to and compliment Judge Wingate as well as Ted Hennifen.

Rukia's announcement says October 11 at 10:00 p.m.

The EPA website says "Friday, October 11, 2024 California Room 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. CST"

https://www.epa.gov/ms/jackson-ms-drinking-water

This is a perfect example of why the water system is in federal receivership, and why the Lumumbas need to be kept away from it.

Trollfest '09

Trollfest '07 was such a success that Jackson Jambalaya will once again host Trollfest '09. Catch this great event which will leave NE Jackson & Fondren in flames. Othor Cain and his band, The Black Power Structure headline the night while Sonjay Poontang returns for an encore performance. Former Frank Melton bodyguard Marcus Wright makes his premier appearance at Trollfest singing "I'm a Sweet Transvestite" from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." Kamikaze will sing his new hit, “How I sold out to da Man.” Robbie Bell again performs: “Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be Bells” and “Any friend of Ed Peters is a friend of mine”. After the show, Ms. Bell will autograph copies of her mug shot photos. In a salute to “Dancing with the Stars”, Ms. Bell and Hinds County District Attorney Robert Smith will dance the Wango Tango.

Wrestling returns, except this time it will be a Battle Royal with Othor Cain, Ben Allen, Kim Wade, Haley Fisackerly, Alan Lange, and “Big Cat” Donna Ladd all in the ring at the same time. The Battle Royal will be in a steel cage, no time limit, no referee, and the losers must leave town. Marshand Crisler will be the honorary referee (as it gives him a title without actually having to do anything).

Meet KIM Waaaaaade at the Entergy Tent. For five pesos, Kim will sell you a chance to win a deed to a crack house on Ridgeway Street stuffed in the Howard Industries pinata. Don't worry if the pinata is beaten to shreds, as Mr. Wade has Jose, Emmanuel, and Carlos, all illegal immigrants, available as replacements for the it. Upon leaving the Entergy tent, fig leaves will be available in case Entergy literally takes everything you have as part of its Trollfest ticket price adjustment charge.

Donna Ladd of The Jackson Free Press will give several classes on learning how to write. Smearing, writing without factchecking, and reporting only one side of a story will be covered. A donation to pay their taxes will be accepted and she will be signing copies of their former federal tax liens. Ms. Ladd will give a dramatic reading of her two award-winning essays (They received The Jackson Free Press "Best Of" awards.) "Why everything is always about me" and "Why I cover murders better than anyone else in Jackson".

In the spirit of helping those who are less fortunate, Trollfest '09 adopts a cause for which a portion of the proceeds and donations will be donated: Keeping Frank Melton in his home. The “Keep Frank Melton From Being Homeless” booth will sell chances for five dollars to pin the tail on the jackass. John Reeves has graciously volunteered to be the jackass for this honorable excursion into saving Frank's ass. What's an ass between two friends after all? If Mr. Reeves is unable to um, perform, Speaker Billy McCoy has also volunteered as when the word “jackass” was mentioned he immediately ran as fast as he could to sign up.

In order to help clean up the legal profession, Adam Kilgore of the Mississippi Bar will be giving away free, round-trip plane tickets to the North Pole where they keep their bar complaint forms (which are NOT available online). If you don't want to go to the North Pole, you can enjoy Brant Brantley's (of the Mississippi Commission on Judicial Performance) free guided tours of the quicksand field over by High Street where all complaints against judges disappear. If for some reason you are unable to control yourself, never fear; Judge Houston Patton will operate his jail where no lawyers are needed or allowed as you just sit there for minutes... hours.... months...years until he decides he is tired of you sitting in his jail. Do not think Judge Patton is a bad judge however as he plans to serve free Mad Dog 20/20 to all inmates.

Trollfest '09 is a pet-friendly event as well. Feel free to bring your dog with you and do not worry if your pet gets hungry, as employees of the Jackson Zoo will be on hand to provide some of their animals as food when it gets to be feeding time for your little loved one.

Relax at the Fox News Tent. Since there are only three blonde reporters in Jackson (being blonde is a requirement for working at Fox News), Megan and Kathryn from WAPT and Wendy from WLBT will be on loan to Fox. To gain admittance to the VIP section, bring either your Republican Party ID card or a Rebel Flag. Bringing both and a torn-up Obama yard sign will entitle you to free drinks served by Megan, Wendy, and Kathryn. Get your tickets now. Since this is an event for trolls, no ID is required. Just bring the hate. Bring the family, Trollfest '09 is for EVERYONE!!!

This is definitely a Beaver production.

Trollfest '07

Jackson Jambalaya is the home of Trollfest '07. Catch this great event which promises to leave NE Jackson & Fondren in flames. Sonjay Poontang and his band headline the night with a special steel cage, no time limit "loser must leave town" bout between Alan Lange and "Big Cat"Donna Ladd following afterwards. Kamikaze will perform his new song F*** Bush, he's still a _____. Did I mention there was no referee? Dr. Heddy Matthias and Lori Gregory will face off in the undercard dueling with dangling participles and other um, devices. Robbie Bell will perform Her two latest songs: My Best Friends are in the Media and Mama's, Don't Let Your Babies Grow up to be George Bell. Sid Salter of The Clarion-Ledger will host "Pin the Tail on the Trial Lawyer", sponsored by State Farm.

There will be a hugging booth where in exchange for your young son, Frank Melton will give you a loooong hug. Trollfest will have a dunking booth where Muhammed the terrorist will curse you to Allah as you try to hit a target that will drop him into a vat of pig grease. However, in the true spirit of Separate But Equal, Don Imus and someone from NE Jackson will also sit in the dunking booth for an equal amount of time. Tom Head will give a reading for two hours on why he can't figure out who the hell he is. Cliff Cargill will give lessons with his .80 caliber desert eagle, using Frank Melton photos as targets. Tackleberry will be on hand for an autograph session. KIM Waaaaaade will be passing out free titles and deeds to crackhouses formerly owned by The Wood Street Players.

If you get tired come relax at the Fox News Tent. To gain admittance to the VIP section, bring either your Republican Party ID card or a Rebel Flag.
