The Metropolitan Opera is streaming a real treat until tomorrow night: Pavarotti in Tosca. The Met has been streaming a different opera every night for free since it cancelled all performances earlier this year.
Posted below are some clips. This is Luciana in his prime in 1978. You can start streaming until 6:30 PM tomorrow night. The streaming will continue past 6:30 as long as it began prior to that time.
If you are using Roku, add the Met Opera app. Open it. Select browse & preview, then new releases, then move cursor over to right and select Tosca, then select play preview. The stream will begin. Enjoy.

Wish I could have seen LP preform. Started listening to opera/classical music studying for the bar because I needed background noise that I couldn't sing along with in my head...it stuck. 11 years later and I listen to opera/classical everyday.
Thanks always for your promotion of culture. People often complain about nothing to do, but in 'normal' times theres a ton of cultural events around. Symphony, choirs, ballet, musical performances at MC/JSU/Belhaven/Millsaps.. the list goes on and on.
Wonderful post. Thank you.
