For the past 25 years God has been loudly calling America to repent and return to Him. Actually, God has never ceased calling us to return to Him over the past 250 years. Our founders recognized God as “the Supreme Judge of the World” and relied “on the protection of divine Providence” as they wrote the words of our founding documents setting a firm foundation.
Over time, even as God continued to bless us richly and materially, we became vain in our morals and values, worshipping gods that mirror our own fallen nature. Marxist ideology, what we call “woke” today, took root. This godless ideology inflated our social agendas and convoluted our cultural mores into abominable and sexually perverse acts of gross immorality. President Reagan’s “shining city on a hill” turned to darkness in a world of darkness.
In an act of mercy, God sent the worst of the worst against us September 11, 2001, and we witnessed the utter wickedness and hatred of human nature’s heart. Even our leaders in Washington realized our need to repent … before woke partisanism returned with a vengeance. Nevertheless, as woke philosophy continually strove to divide us via chaos and hatred, God brought new life into our young people who began searching for the truth.
Even though the mainstream media routinely dismissed “religion,” little pockets of Evangelical revival began popping up among younger generations. But old faithful’s “separation of church and state” dismissed such misguided phenomena as youthful exuberance misdirected. Starting Point USA founded by Charlie Kirk became an overnight success among teens and college students. Kirk’s messages were evangelical and political which enflamed political folks as well as traditional Christian groups.
Donald Trump’s candidacy in 2015 raised the ire of political movements across the spectrum. Kirk’s alignment with Trump’s candidacy raised a lot of questions and discussions. How could anyone condone religious and political bedfellows? It’s just not right! It’s unconstitutional! Then Trump won his first term and the fruit of the opposition turned to pure hatred of President Trump.
The least likely politician in America, Donald J. Trump mixed faith and traditional American values together in the face of ungodly opposition. Trump’s second term exacerbated a full spectrum of opposition across politics and religion. The “Hate Trump” movement devolved into three assassination attempts without any remorse from critics. That’s not very Christian.
Religious opponents said Trump was blaspheming. Political opponents just blasted a litany of ad hominem attacks at the President and his supporters. Hatred of President Trump created its own moniker: Trump Derangement Syndrome. Political hatred has always been ubiquitous. “Christian” hatred is demonic.
Have you ever read I John 4:20-21? “If someone says, ‘I love God,’ and hates his brother, he is a liar; for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen. And this commandment we have from Him, that the one who loves God should love his brother also.”
President Trump declared Sunday, May 17, “Rededicate 250: National Jubilee of Prayer, Praise and Thanksgiving,” a nine-hour prayer event filling the National Mall with thousands of praying Christians and Jews.
“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.” — Psalm 33:12

Praise The Lord that I have enough common sense and familiarity with The Bible so as not to traffic in lies and in half truths that are phrased to deliberately deceive.
