It will probably be awhile before Dow Yoder gets out of jail.

| Dow Yoder |
A Jackson Municipal Court judge set Yoder's bond at $100,000 after JPD charged him with first degree arson and third degree arson Friday. Yoder allegedly set fire to a dumpster at the Pig and Pint Restaurant and the Yana Club in the Fondren Friday.
Yoder is a former Madison County Assistant District Attorney and Assistant U.S. Attorney. He ran for the Court of Appeals in 2016.
The former prosecutor has been on a downward spiral for quite some time. He was arrested for burglary and meth possession in Jones County several years ago. He was linked to another fire in 2023.
The Mississippi Bar suspended his license in 2022 for three years in 2022. Yoder did not apply for reinstatement.
Yoder's mug shot shows a picture of a man approaching rock bottom.
Kingfish note: Mr. Yoder is where he needs to be. The worst thing someone could do for him right now is to bail him out. Hopefully Judge McDaniels will not get a case of reductionitis and lower his bond. It is a really sad case. Sometimes jail exists not to punish but to protect someone from himself. Such is the case here.

Judge Mc may post his bond.

I agree.
There were additional fires in Laurel he has a connection to. Nothing was ever proven though.
Someone suffering from addiction needs to be in a controlled environment. Then there's hope for recovery and while he's still paying his debt to society he could be a help to others.
fire has a purifying compenent that cant be ignored
ashes are sterile carbon and carcile can he used to filter impurities
from the ashes of a fire, the earth becomes more fertile
fire is warm and has a life of its on.
In ancient pre history, when humans had not yet fully mastered fire, the keepers of were the first shamans and later preists. they alone kept the flames burning for the tribe to use.
this is the origins of the illiminati
This downward spiral is so sad to me.
He sure grew a beard quickly, based on the arrest photo you posted Friday.
His family must not had gotten him the help he desperately needs
Or he was so destructive they cut him off. A person has to want help to get help.
While we’re talking about getting help for people, we may want to consider 2:45.
At the risk of torquing Kingfish into a tirade....What, actually, is the man's name?
