I am no fan of Gene McGee but to mention him as an enabler of Gerald Steen without mentioning Mary Hawkins is a joke. Mayor Mary ran the Board of Supervisors for years until Gerald Steen was elected and new boundaries were drawn. He was elected after Mary had her hand picked and contracted Supervisors move Highland Colony paving funds from the Ridgeland district to Madison so Madison would be finished first. Steen at that time said it would never happen again, and it won’t. Baxter and Brannon are Mary’s little soldiers and if they want to keep their positions they will do what she says. They couldn’t think for themselves if an idea hit them in the head. They both have claimed they wanted to work with Steen, just like Banks and Griffin do and that is simply not true. Mary would never allow them to help Ridgeland. If anyone believes the voters in Ridgeland are going to vote Steen out of office, they are nuts. He has only done to Mary what she did to Ridgeland for years and now she can’t. I don’t know if Steen has done all of the things he is accused of, but I doubt it. What I do believe is the Madison Trio has created many of the accusations. Kind of funny when one’s actions come from behind and bite you in the ass.

Mary has always determined the Dist 1 Supervisor. She touted the excellent qualities of John Bell Crosby (Kroger Mgr) and talked him into running. She got the entire district turned against the incumbent and got John Bell elected. In less than a year, John Bell bit into the apple offered by Banks, Steen and Griffin and *POOF* he was corrupted. Mary then got Crosby defeated by Jones and has now gotten the spouse of the city attorney in the Supervisor spot. So, yes, she controls the position and is out of favor with Magee and Steen and most everybody else.

None of this diminishes the reality that Gerald Steen is half turd and half slime-ball.

When the Taggart-D.I.Smith stink got Smith elected to the Madison County Board, it was that stink that allowed Steen to send Smith to the house in defeat. But D.I. wound up being seated in Ridgeland so, after Magee's retirement, D.I. will once again be confronted by the Devil Incarnate (Steen).

Via the Magnolia Tribune: Canton Democrat Aldermen Andrew Grant and Canton Democrat Alderman Eric Gilkey pled guilty to conspiracy to commit bribery with none other than former Madison County Engineer Rudy Warnock. Canton Municipal Utilities Commissioner Cleve Anderson was convicted of similar charges as the two Canton Aldermen Grant and Gilkey.

As previously mention herein, Democrat controlled Canton Municipal Utilities allowed sewage to run into an 835 acre lake (where children regularly swim) on multiple occasions for extended periods of time. Total incompetence!

RINO Steen and Democrats Banks and Griffin hired as Madison County Board Attorney HARD CORE DEMOCRAT Mike Espy…..that could not possibly have this Board Attorney position without RINO Gerald Steen’s vote, and Gerald Steen could not possibly be a supervisor without RINO Gene McGee’s support.

Yea this is the same Mike Espy that in 1994 resigned as Agriculture Secretary amid allegations that he accepted gifts from companies regulated by said Agriculture Department.
This is the same Democrat Mike Espy that around 2010-2011 allegedly admitted to taking $750,000.00 in lobbying fees from the country Ivory Coast led by Laurent Gbagbo that faced allegations of murder, rape, and torture of political opponents and later charged with crimes against humanity at the International Criminal Court.
This is the same Democrat Mike Espy that while hanging out with now convicts former Madison County Engineer Rudy Warnock and former Canton Aldermen Andrew Grant and Eric Gilkey, had a pair of boots purchased for him by Rudy Warnock. Here’s a Mike Espy quote via WLBT: “I called Rudy, said the boots [didn’t] fit, would you give me your credit card number, so I could credit the sale back to his card, and I did.”

Under the heading of incompetence and via JJ: Madison County’s comptroller Na’Son White was tricked into sending more than $2.7 million of county funds to scammers, then the Madison County Board of Supervisors, led by RINO Steen and Democrats Banks and Griffin gave Na’Son White a _______ raise.

The above is just some what you get with Democrats. And RINO Gene McGee’s lapdog tool RINO Gerald Steen is teaming up with Democrats, i.e. giving Banks and Griffin what they want in exchange for Ridgeland getting what it wants. And due to Ridgeland’s pure unadulterated greed, Democrats like Mike Espy take over the Board Attorney position, and incompetent Democrats are put in control of more and more county positions.

Democrats destroy everything. Look at the corruption in Jackson with the former Mayor and the current DA under indictment. Look at the corruption in Canton with 2 former aldermen and a former Canton Municipal Utilities Commissioner being convicted of bribery. Gerald Steen and Gene McGee together are in my opinion 100% to blame because Democrats CANNOT control Madison County without them.
