A trans "woman" won the Washington (State) High School 400m State Championship Friday by a full second over the nearest competitor.

A group of female runners stood in silence, with their hands behind their backs after being beaten by a transgender teen athlete in the 400-meter dash at the Washington State Championship on Saturday.
Veronica Garcia, a 16-year-old transgender high school runner of the East Valley School District in Spokane, Washington finished with a time of 55.75 - a full second ahead of the first biologically female runner.
Lauren Matthew of the West Valley School District, who came second in the race, did not have the power to keep up with Garcia and came a full second behind her with a time of 56.75.
But had Garcia, who was born male, been running in the equivalent boy's race, she wouldn't have even managed 16th place - with the slowest boy finishing at 53.12 - more than 2.5 seconds clear of Garcia's time. ..... Rest of article.

some of these girls have been competing in these sports since they were little, and busting their ass to get better and win.

degenerate, mentally ill boys/men beating girls/women, rob them, cheat them, and steal from them opportunities they would have had they won these races, and competitions. scholarships can be on the line. might be the only way a girl can afford to go to a good college.
it matters because nobody wants to lose to a cheater. nobody wants to have a win stolen from them. nobody wants to lose knowing who they lost to never should have been competing against them in the first place.
10:49, you are correct, it was just a race. Something that will mean very little to nothing in the grand scheme of life for these contestants. But those girls worked their butts off to get to where they were, only to get defeated by someone who has a natural, biological advantage. You’ve probably rolled/bent over for everything in your life, and don’t get it. I have a daughter that has worked very hard in her sports, and for her age, has done very well. I’m very proud of what she’s accomplished. When she gets beat by a girl, I tell her to work harder. She got beat fairly. If she got beat by a boy, it would demoralize her because she understands there’s nothing she could do to get that much better. These girls deserve more respect than you woke creeps give them for sure.

creating a trans division highlights that they are not normal, that they are something other than what they say they are. which is to say, that they really are mentally ill boys/men, that claim to be a girl/woman. to them and others, just by claiming it to be, makes it so, according to the mentally ill. for many of these mentally ill, and the mentally ill that support them, just saying you are a girl/woman, actually makes you a real girl/woman. and because they consider themselves to be, and are considered to be by others, a real girl/woman, having a trans division makes a mockery of all they believe and profess. after all, it's what they feel, what they believe, that matters, not actual biology, science, reality, and good 'ole common sense.
boys/men, mentally ill or not, should only compete against boys/men. period. they should never be allowed to compete against girls/women.
If it is that important why shouldn't women agree that a woman is not equal to a man. If you believe man and women are equal you will not have a problem who competes against each other. If you believe women and men should not compete with each other you are supporting the idea that women and men are not equal. It is very simple.

Or possibly you’re a millennial whose brain has not yet developed sufficiently to realize everything is not binary - there are different shades and nuances to every issue. You can’t base equality on one characteristic such as size, strength, or athletic ability. It’s a biological fact the average male has an advantage in those areas over the average female, so NFL linebackers tend to be male, but when it comes to astronomers, math teachers, senators, or UN ambassadors, they’re equal. It’s common sense; watch a few episodes of Andy Griffith on YouTube and some may rub off on you.
It's unfortunate that people and leaders can't discuss this in a reasonable ways and not lob insults.
I consider myself a Democrat. While I support inclusion of all people in our society and certainly don't want them persecuted, this is a situation where it is inherently unfair to girls sports. While we can be willing to include people who are different from us, there are times where people will be excluded -- we need to teach ALL OF OUR YOUTH this fact of life. That's just life. Life isn't always "fair". And to include a person born biologically male in a female sport is more unfair to the other female participants.
Sports are indeed important for our youth and I think we should encourage co-ed RECREATIONAL teams; but for competitive sports in high school and such where these girls have worked for years to try attain their goal or scholarships, it is unfair to them.
It is okay to be a Democrat and not agree with this...it doesn't mean we don't support our trans youth. That is a fallacy.
Now in the instance where this trans girl wants to wear a dress to her high school graduation, that's fine -- supporting her gender choice isn't affecting anyone else. But sports is different and I encourage other Dems to acknowledge that point.

although i agree with much of what you said, i will not, however, participate in their mental illness. i will not, as you did, refer to a boy/man/male/he/him as girl/woman/female/she/her. i will also not, as you did, use trans-male/boy, trans-female/girl, because they are either boy/man/male, or they are girl/woman/female.

10:22, using current law and logic, you only have to be born on Leap Day to qualify at age 16 to dominate 4 year old T Ball. You are technically only 4 then.
I personally identify as a 12 year old, and my wife and adult children will certify that I qualify. Most restaurants, however, blatantly discriminate against me when I try to get the kid's free meal.
