This day and age, I can't tell if someone is joking about such things or not. The baseline for "good" certainly is different depending on how bad the little kid in question is.

But, if he might cuss you out, he doesn't have any respect and in my world that is the opposite of "good boy."

If the baseline is moved to "he won't kill you" then the rest doesn't matter since anyone bad would actually kill you and everyone else would be "good."

Pretty harsh rhetoric in labeling OM grads that way. My wife and I happen to be OM grads and parents of an OM grad who do not tolerate or condone that type of behavior of language. We happen to know a lot of OM grads who are hard working public servants and they likewise do not exhibit that type of behavior.

Unfortunatley, that type of behavior is not specific or isolated just to Ole Miss. Step outside in the real world and you will see that every school has students and grads we are proud of and others that we wish had never stepped on campus.

Did this kid get suspended or expelled? My child goes to GMS and rides a bus, and I do not want this type of kid allowed on the bus with her. Also, I am amazed at the restraint that bus driver had. It would have taken everything I had not to knock the hell out of that little sh$t.

The bus driver shouldn't have tried stop the fight because the drivers can't place their hands on the kid to stop a fight. @6:12 most, or all, zoning laws have a building setback. It regulates how far the building must be set back from the property line. It is a minimum, you can always set the building further back.

A zero lot line dwelling has a side setback of ZERO on one side, or maybe both sides. So it allows you to build on the boundary. To my knowledge, Gluckstadt has no zero lot line dwellings.

R-2 zoning in Madison County such as Ridgefield, Red Oak, etc. have a 10 feet minimum side setback. When you get to R-2 zoning with a PUD overlay, such as Ashbrooke and Stillhouse Creek, you are allowed to go to slightly smaller setbacks in exchange for some mandatory common area. So you might have a 7.5 feet minimum setback on the side. There is also a front and rear setback. These zoning classes also have minimum lot width and minimum lot size. So an R-2 zoned property has a minimum lot size of 10,600 square feet, a minimum lot width of 75 feet (measured at the front setback), a minimum front setback of 30 feet, a minimum side setback of 10 feet, and a minimum rear setback of 25 feet. Setbacks are measured from the property line. Front setbacks are measured from the property line, which is usually about 11 feet behind the curb.

The bus driver was perfectly appropriate. I hope the comments about him getting fired are not correct. He should get a raise. My parents would have made me go in person, face to face, and apologize to the bus driver and all others involved.
