I'm sure there is always room for him at an Oxford House
"trading" the date-rape drug for sex? Large-scale meth operation in the office of Mississippi's Senior Senator? The question has to be asked: how much did Thad know?, when did he know it?, and was he involved in the drug-sex trading parties?
@ 3:18
Fair point, Chris.
To 3:18's point, I expect now the Senator's supporters will finally agree that Thad has no idea what is going on in, around or related to his office.
I despise Cochran, but he is not responsible for the off duty shenanigans of his junior employees. Had this been someone associated with the McDaniel campaign, you Cochran harpies would be all over it; however, I'm first to say Thad has no responsibility for this or for knowing it was going on.
Knot 4 Thad:
Just how do you know that he didn't know what was going on? By which crystal ball do you glean your info?
Someone that has that much crystal is most certainly not limiting their consumption to "off-duty" hours.
Let's be for real, whether you like him or not, Thad is elderly. There's a lot of stuff he doesn't know. And if he did know, he forgot it as soon as he left the room. There should be an age limit in holding public office. I told a colleague that Ronald Reagan should not run for President a second term because he was too old to think clearly. He got very angry. Later we found out Reagan had Alzheimer's disease. If you can be too young for some things, it makes sense that you could be too old for some things.
