I am astounded as to how cold hearted you are! They have admitted guilt in an open courtroom ,and now you are telling people to send letters regarding the Fraziers sentences ! Please just sit back and think of the children that will be left behind without their daddy's , whom they absolutely adore, and their Papa . Please let the judge decide . We have all been through ENOUGH! I understand that people feel taken by them , but we are human and make mistakes. Sounds to me like it would help the healing process through gods words not all this negativity and hate! This only hurts the innocent ones!

1:57pm, these guys have zero remorse. They continued to steal from honest, hardworking people even after they starting being discovered. They made the conscious decision to take what was not there's, and use it to buy boats, cars, guns, condos, planes, girls, booze, whatever. They caused a lot of angst, stress and worry for a lot of people who entrusted them with their hard-earned money. For that they should receive the maximum sentence allowed. They are cold-blooded thieves. Their children deserve someone better to adore.

By the way, could you clarify what you meant by "...without their daddy's..."? Are you implying something has been going on, beyond normal paternal affection? Or do you simply not know how to pluralize 'Daddy'?

Hold on everyone. There is a good point here. Society would be much better off if we would stop putting Daddies in jail. We should pass a law that any criminal can get a free pass if he has young children. I am sure crime rates would drop dramatically.

Rutgers, by the way, did a study, a while back, on the effect of fathers in the home, for children in criminally-prone families. (not that I'm implying the Fraziers are criminally-prone, or anything) Turns out, sometimes it was better for the kids, if the fathers (those who were rotters) were absent from the lives of their spawn. And maybe you failed to grasp 4:09's point about pluralizing the word 'daddy'. The plural of 'daddy' is 'daddies'. The possessive form of 'daddy' is ' daddy's '. I think she was mostly just asking for a clarification. And you sure did clarify things nicely!

@1:57---No, you have not suffered enough, When every family that has been wronged by the Frazier boys has been made whole; when the college funds of all of the children of those wronged families has been fully restored; when all of the wronged people have clear title to their properties; when CE's sisters' trust fund has been replaced; and when all other people wronged by the deliberately deceitful actions of the Frazier clan have been fully and completely reinbursed for their actions (possiblly by Granny's trust fund, BTW), then and only then should we hold our nose and grant forgiveness to this group of self-serving assholes.

I'm not defending anyone. I barely know the Fraziers. I do know Spencer and his wife and they are good people. Calling Spencer names is just cruel and mean.
But there were many people who used to follow Austin around like a sick puppy waiting for a free handout. Where are they now? Have they moved on to sponge off someone else?
Yes, if you do criminal activity then you should be punished. If you steal from people you should be punished. But all the rape in prison comments is a bit much. Majority of the people commenting on here know the Fraziers from what I can gather- judging by the hatred spewed out. But there's a fine line of wanting to see someone punished for their crime and wanting someone to suffer intolerable misery for it.
No one was killed. No one was beat. Money was stolen. I get that. Lives were upset from the stolen money and I'm sure those effected suffered deep monetary loss. But come on. No one died over this.

You poor thing ... You clearly don't know them! Especially the ring leader Claiborne ie sociopath! The leeches that mooched off of Austin probably are still mooching on somebody else.

Austin prob not anywhere the criminal Claiborne is but then again Claiborne is a sociopath Austin is not.

However they should both be punished! And not to hurt the kids but for these boys time away from family will be the best punishment because that is where they will feel it. That is the one thing they hold in some account as important. So to take that away from these three boys ...well that is the consequence that can impact these boys. Unfortunately the children will suffer but that I impactful punishment is prob the only thing that will effect these men. To see there mother suffer trying to make the children ok, to see there children miss them, To see there exes glare at disgust that they have to bring there babies to federal prison to see them and the stress on the children for that....

This will be the consequence of the wrongs they did to people. You can't be a person of bad character morals and criminal behavior with no consequence. For these men they got away with a lot for a loong time. This is a long time coming and this public display of "blogging" and dragging them over the coals I think is KARMA. You can't hide from public opinion and as you see from all these post this family is not well thought of because of there arrogance and belief they deserve compassion with ZERO remorse or accountability for what they have done.

10:40- I don't sponge off anyone. I never chose my friends based on what they had. I never dated nor married for money either. I think it's gross and extremely classLESS to go after someone for their money. But I sure remember guys and girls doing anything they could do to be around it.

As stated previously, I don't know the other Fraziers. I barely know Austin.

However Spencer is involved is none of my business either. I said the comments regarding him and his weight were rude and uncalled for. I always knew him to be a good guy. I always liked him. I like his wife. If he's guilty then I'm sure he will pay for whatever crimes were committed.

The rape comments were highly uncalled for. I can understand anyone who was personally or financially impacted by all of this having hateful comments towards them. But the majority of the commenters on here are just plain assholes.

People are jealous over people who have more. Even if the money turns out to be dirty, people are still jealous because they never and will never get a taste of it- even if it was short lived.

Rebekah- been watching this unfold for a long, long time. You see, with notable exceptions of course, many of those that associated with and/or "sponged" off Claiborne and Austin are now their biggest critics as they were ultimately swindled by the people they so much wanted to be like. More than just "investing" for a return on their money, they wanted a return on their friendship and a return on the lifestyle that we now know, and they should have known, was not legitimate. Like most things in life, if it looks to good to be true it probably is.

KF- So your saying friendship aside, all of these folks whom I would consider well above average "business people" did their due diligence on Claiborne Frazier's experience, reputation, and educational background/training as a developer and company president and decided investing with Frazier was a sound, solid business venture.

rebekah you could not be more wrong. those folks you say "sponged" off the frazier boys were not sponging they were "pawns" basically used as the boy's crew. it gave them what they wanted most....the perseption of being socially supreme to everyone else. those "spongers" didn't use the fraziers. in actuality it was the other way around & as stated above they were the ones who ultimately got "sponged"

So when you purchase a home, do you run a credit check on the seller? They didn't think when they closed on their condos in Oxford the seller was going to take their money and run with it instead of paying the bank back on the loan.

Then there is the Hines's. Invested in a real estate project. He completed it. He sold it behind their backs and kept the money. Wasn't an investment deal that soured, it was a rogue partner who swindled them. Declared bankruptcy when they discovered the swindle.

But these people are all sponges. Got it.

As for investing with Claiborne: I'm not the smartest guy, but I am pretty sure I would never invest wiith (give my $$ to) a guy who spends like he did. If he were as wealthy as he pretended to be, why did he need investors? From Bernie Madoff to that Allen Stanford douchenozzle to the fake redneck riches of these Frazier clowns, it was all fake. Smoke and mirrors. I am having a hard time understanding how anyone coukd have been covinced to give money to these idiots. But it apparently happened, a lot.

Another question: how was Claiborne not sued to the ground by Shane LNgston et al? Maybe he was and I'm just nit aware of it.

Also: kudos to Rebekah for coming in here using her real name. I don't know these guys well, but agree that Spencer is somewhat of a sympathetic individual. Can't say that for the others.

Call it the way you want KF and explain it however you like, I don't have a dog in the fight. But I'm not too terribly surprised by the outcome here, it's been a long time in the making.

....that's where CE's biggest fault is. He allowed the boys to use the good business reputation built over decades by him and CE Sr to be used to lure people in as investors, partners and subs, then sat by and watched them get screwed.

Spencer always wanted to be Claiborne so badly. The next best thing: win his approval by helping him steal from others. That whole crew ALWAYS thought they were above the law. And they were for a long time...the hammer should have come down on them years ago.

Suppose after you got knocked up, your baby daddy didnt marry you. But he agreed to support the baby. Then suppose he invested a large sum of money with the Fraziers. He lost that money. Now, you have no income and a baby and no baby daddy to be found. You are forced to worked two jobs to put your baby in daycare and save for college, because all of your future just got wiped out. Now can you understand why there is so much hatred?

Rebekkah, don't let anyone make you feel bad for seeing Spencer as a flawed but generally nice human being.
KF, you are right to be hard on them for swindling others,there's no excuse for that but I can't imagine how those folks didn't know Claiborne and Austin did drugs or that CE wasn't minding the company while he was fighting cancer and couldn't see that the spending got out of control during that period and that the boys were screwing up royally and literally in their personal lives in expensive ways to be taken as serious businessmen. Those things should have been red flags.
And, anyone that looks at lawsuits in the construction industry in MS should know there's shady practices, stiffing subs and bond holders and banks, etc that doesn't end up in jail time. If they hadn't swindled people with the resources and political clout to fight back and if they'd just bitten the bullet and not hidden assets, it wouldn't likely have gotten public attention...just grapevine whispers.
And, anyone who ever met Nan knows she wouldn't have had any notion and believed what she was told.
This story and the meat packing plant jail time and that some prominent lawyers are doing jail time as ought to be cautionary tales that walking on the ethical edge is more dangerous than it used to be in Mississippi.

Spencer, If you read this... It's not too late to try turn your life around. First admit you have a problem with alcohol. Quit spending hours bellying up to the bar at Soulshine Pizza when you could be home spending your last quality days with your wife and son. It's not too late.

I am wondering if the fraizer boys have decided (in one last attempt to save their soul) to let Spencer go to court so they can help testify on his behalf to get him out of the trouble they got him in. It would also help out George who has been footing a pretty mean bill along the way.

Jail time is too good for the Frazier's. Everyone says they love their children, apparently not enough to live a life within the guidelines of the law that the majority of the public live by. And it seems everytime they are mentioned, you also have to drag in the names of the victims who would like to remain anonymous and get on with their lives without being linked to the Fraziers.

As one of the many people who lost money $100,000 plus in all of this I can only speak personally - but the money was written off nearly 10 years ago and the anger a couple of years later. It does no good to be angry at the Frazier's they dont care - they have exhibited it over and over by their actions. My advice to them is to write a letter to each person they have wronged ask for forgiveness and then spend the rest of their life trying to be an example of reform. Jesus spent His entire time on earth working with all sorts of sinners because the Bible says that All men have fallen short of the glory of God and the Bible says that redemption is there for the asking. My prayer for them is they find God's plan for their life and they follow it. My prayer for all of those that have lost as a result of their actions - that we all move on. Life is too short.

If all could do so what a better world this would be, and spite, anger, unforgiveness are all wrong to harbor in our souls. One day just like the Fraziers we will all be held accountable for our on actions. A sin is a sin. . Apparently, word on the street is Claiborne appeared before the judge to enter his guilty plea because "it was just the EASIEST thing to do." He then stated he had done nothing wrong. He is a full blown sociopath and has zero remorse for all the NOTHING he did wrong.

Sad thing is though, I couldn't imagine him seeing things any differently. He is a total waste of space on this earth.
