I don't know how she will fare in Jackson. Unlike some of you, I have read her resume. I do believe that being a Chief of Police requires a level of education and organizational skills that being a beat cop doesn't require. One is budgeting the money and another is managing the resources.
IF our police force are all misogynists and long to be Dirty Harry , she'll be sabotaged at every turn, but frankly, I've met some of our officers and have more respect for them than that. Some have gone into private security and do quite well.
