Our favorite former trooper groused on Facebook about alleged "unfair treatment" by the Mississippi Department of Public Safety. However, there is a "Rest" of the story.
Kingfish note: Here is a piece of advice for the former trooper. If she is trying to get another job in law enforcement, she might want to consider knocking off social media posts such as this one as they don't help her cause one bit. She has an active lawsuit against DPS in federal court. That forum, not Facebook, is the proper place to wage war against her former employer.

What's the value of a 'certificate' if it's not available to the employee? A certificate of completion (of anything) is evidence that can benefit the employee or ex-employee.
Instead of a certificate, maybe Tindall should change the policy to require only a note to the personnel file when an employee jumps a hurdle.
I suspect to prevent fraud.
Is there a "drama queen of the year" award? Decade?
Job security for the paper pushers at DPS.
I believe it would be in her best interest to seek a good in-patient mental health treatment program.
Oh Lord…is this woman still at it again? KF, can you tell us how we can view the video if we do not have FB?
Fraud? Please explain.
There are some good ol news stories on this Jeff John’s with WLBT back in the 90’s. Look at why Malcolm McMillin fired him. Hard to believe he is anywhere near law enforcement employment.
The certificate has always been the property of the state and has always been held by the agency. The law allowed the employee to retain a copy at one time, but I think that law was changed. The certificate has the officer's SSN on it, so there are all kinds of restrictions on how it can be used. But again, the certificate is held by the agency and it is returned to DPS Standards and Training when the officer leaves employment for any reason.
The employer should return the certificate to the Board director, along with a complete “Termination/Reassignment Report” form, within ten working days after: The employee dies, resigns, laterally transfers or is terminated.......why don't you do a PRR to see why the certificate was returned 9 months after her termination instead of 10 working days? It was only returned after her Nov, 20 post calling them out FYI.
@5:27-check it out cottonmouth
DPS is just another agency/employer that has no business having (much less publishing) employee social security numbers other than for legitimate social security program transactions.
When you roll around and argue with a pig, you both get muddy - and the pig enjoys it.
Wait. So this chick could’ve been working at another agency instead of being on welfare this whole time because the certificate has ALWAYS been held by the department? She doesn’t WANT to work. If she did, she’d have a job. There ARE fields other than law enforcement, after all. I don’t appreciate that I get up and go to work every day to pay for her and her poor kids to eat, so that she can stay home and feign innocence and discrimination on social media.
She should hire that Bridget lawyer lady
Does she admit to why she was fired, or still deny that she did anything wrong? I think she failed a lie detector test at the very least.
Can someone please create a go fund me to make this attention craving drama queen go away!!
God bless this seriously flawed emotional wreck.
She looks tired.
Dang, I was on my way from Alaska to Mississippi to buy all of her shirts to help her with her bills. I wasn’t going to buy lunch because I brought fresh Salmon to cook. I’m a chef! Thanks Kingfish for posting this.
No. She did nothing wrong, there never was a video, and she’s the most honest and innocent person on earth…just ask her. Cops never lie! Her accuser’s case was “dismissed with prejudice” according to the former trooper on May 30th, but in the court documents that are easily accessible online, the case was dismissed withOUT prejudice, simply meaning that the case can and currently is being tried in a different court. As of November 26th, Jane Doe is still pursuing the case, though Ivana says she won the case against said accuser. I don’t know either party in this train-wreck scenario, but I do know that you can’t trust a word that comes out of that “good girl’s” mouth (because according to Ivana…”turns out she’s a good girl”…a good girl has ((or had)) plenty of married boyfriends. She won’t address that easily-proven-guilty topic though, will she?) Spend an hour in her Facebook feed and count the number of times she contradicts herself. Don’t make it into a drinking game, though. You’ll be hospitalized. No wonder she failed that lie detector test. It’s hard to keep up with the number of lies she’s told. We’re counting them though.
