Look, I get it, he wasn't mentally all there. Mental health is an issue. But sometimes it's best to not seek out the cameras, and have some respect for the real victims - the ones no longer breathing and enjoying this life.

He does need help. That said, he alone chose to go off his meds. Our court system will not sentence him to death, but he needs to be confined for life in a treatment facility. If your family is truly sorry for his actions, you will publicly ask the courts to have him committed for life, for his and the publics safety. Actions speak louder than words. He's alive and you can visit and speak with him at your leisure, which is more than his 2 victims family are able to do with their murdered loved ones.

It is a little too late to come up with excuses for what the murderer did. The time to speak out was before he stopped taking his medication. The family should have been talking to him more and doing less protesting and hogging up the camera.

If he is convicted, he should be executed if possible under the law.

the worst he can be sentenced to is two consecutive life sentences. legally, once you serve ten years of a life sentence, and reach age 65, you can be released by the trial judge or the current trial judge. therefore, even if a judge released him, he would still have to start the second life sentence.

his family needs meds. I was a special master. I observed over several years that families tire of dealing with these afflicted people and distance themselves allowing the mentally ill person to get off meds and create horrid situations like this one. Shame on them.

2. A special master is an attorney appointed by the Chancery Court to hear specified cases. I heard all of the petitions for commitment of the mentally ill and addicted persons in my county for several years.

6:13; I submit that this WAS capital murder and here's why: Capital Murder (I think) is a killing occurring during the commission of a crime. He was apparently on a killing spree,accosting at random, having killed one already and in so doing, was fleeing the scene of the first crime, possibly eluding capture and involving himself in other crimes.

Then, while still engaged in the above crimes, he killed the second lady (at Logans). So, HER death occurred while he was involved in an ongoing crime spree. CAP MURDER. That's my take and I'm stickin' to it.
