Wait, don't forget Ricky

Mississippi Democratic Grand Poobah Ricky Cole sent out this message today on the Senate race:

Logo
Friends,
Just a few weeks ago, the Republican Establishment claimed that the Tea Party was finished for good. Then last week here in Mississippi, 42 year incumbent Thad Cochran finished second to Tea Party darling Chris McDaniel, sending a Founding Father of Mississippi Republicanism into a runoff in which his chances are slim. Last night, the Tea Party followed that up with a stunning victory over Republican House Majority Leader Eric Cantor.
The Tea Party isn't going away. They will continue pulling Republicans further and further to the fringe. The Tea Party is the dominant faction in the Republican Party. All the Establishment Republicans can do at this point is throw red meat to the Beast they created and hope to make it out alive.
One thing is clear- the Democratic Party is the only force capable of defeating Tea Party radicalism.
Mississippi will be ground zero for the battle against Tea Party extremism over the next two years, both in this year's U.S. Senate race with our great nominee Travis Childers likely to face off with Tea Party radical Chris McDaniel, and next year when Democrats take on Tea Party Governor Phil Bryant, the Goofiest Governor in America,  and take back the Tea Party-controlled State House!
The next two years are pivotal to the future of our great state. Click here to invest all that you can today to help Mississippi Democrats turn back the Wingnut Wave!
Your contribution is greatly appreciated.
Your friend,
Rickey

Oh no. The Democrats don't like the tea party. I'm shocked.

I guess we need to dump the tea party. They're bad. Ricky Cole said so.

Yes Ricky. Use the democrat party that spawned the KKK and bought and sold black people to defeat those mean ole Tea Party people. What will you do. Break out the robes and burn the cross. Maybe ur friend Jim Crow can help fight those terrible republican tea party people. When Jews join the Nazi party I will support you Ricky Bobby. Till then you can keep the con game going on getting blacks to follow the white democrat klan.

I know this is of no interest to anyone but me, but I just need to vent my frustration.

I've read all of the fumbling, bumbling and poor judgment created by certain folks who are trying to help McDaniel win the race.

Today, I was a victim of one of these clowns.
Someone rang my doorbell late this morning and when I opened the door slightly and asked in a terse manner what he wanted. He handed me a McDaniel flyer. I did not hide my irritation about being disturbed by a stranger summoning me to the door. I said nothing but thank you and closed the door.
Later on when walking down my hall I notice a burning smell. I checked the AC/heat closet and smelled nothing in there.
I went outside for something and upon reentering my back door I noticed the light on my doorbell was not shining and the button was jammed in at an angle.

This clown had pushed so hard, either with his clipboard or pen that it jammed my bell ringer in and it obviously burned out the circuit since my front doorbell no longer works either.
There! I've vented and only want to say that some of these folks are just plain idiots!

I'm not voting for Thad or Chris at this point. Thad needs to retire and Chris is surrounded by a group of, perhaps well-meaning, but stupid people.
...And I've got to hire someone to replace my doorbells. P-Oed

Chris McDaniel has announced that he has asked to be nominated for the Base Realignment and Closure Commission (BRAC). Let's cut military bases in Mississippi to erase expenses and balance the budget. Chris will stop Federal funding for the Air National Guard, Keesler, Seabee Base, Stennis, and the shipyard in Pascagoula.

Blaming McDaniel "clowns" for a doorbell malfunction. Grow up.

Whatever happened to professionalism? said...

This is a press release from the chairman of the Mississippi Democrats? It reads like a reddit post by a basement dwelling neckbeard!

He refers to Bryant as "the goofiest governor in America" and refers to the Tea Party as the "wingnut wave" and he expects to be taken seriously? I half expected the next line to be, "Teabaggers are fascist idiots who hate women! Quit hogging the bong, dude! It's my turn on the Xbox!!"

"Oh, and tell your mom you're out of Doritos."

This is the chairman of a major political party, for heaven's sake! He should write professionally and maintain politesse and decorum, not hurl insults and use such derogatory language. If these are the tactics that appeal to his base, he needs to examine who he is purporting to represent.

Who killed the mayor? said...

Does anyone take seriously what the heads of either party say? It's as real as legitimate as the wrestler interviews on Monday Night Raw.

Rather than take them seriously, people should offer suggestions for making their statements more entertaining. Like Cole should challenge Joe Nosef to a No Holds Barred Match for the Miss. Heavyweight Championship.

Tea Party Radicalism? The Democrats in power have shoved a pile of crap known as the ACA collectively down the throat of America that destroys a doctor-patient relationship, let terrorists kill Americans and tried to blame it on youtube, sold arms to narcostate dictators, legalized dope, and now opened our borders to the greatest and most brazen influx of illegals in history. Ricky, your party is the most radical I have ever seen in my life of over 40 years.

Ricky often writes in the style of a histrionic harpy.

Democrats did attack the healthcare crisis and ended the failed Republican wars that were costing $Billions and thousands of lives. Medicine will change with or without ACA. It will be more computerized and automated like everything else. Docs will be scarce and refuse to treat the poor. They will be replaced by nurse practitioners and machine aided diagnosis and rx systems. The Republicans want the 1960s before the American Empire failed.

6:06 muttered: "Blaming McDaniel "clowns" for a doorbell malfunction. Grow up."

YOU grow up! The doorbell had worked fine with no problems until that clown pushed it so HARD it jammed the button.

The point of my posting this was to suggest there must be an "Inept Virus" going through the McDaniel volunteer brigade. Seems like every other day they are stepping in something else that is unpleasant- but each time they didn't mean to create a stench.
It must have been you going door-to-door ringing doorbells in NE Jackson yesterday.
Post your address and I'll send you the bill. Clown!

9:23 AM, that is such an immature and empty response as are many of your lap dog responses. Next!
You may have the last word if it makes you feel powerful.

Bye bye, Puddin' N' Tain

A decent lighted doorbell button replacement costs somewhere around nine bucks. That includes the light. It is a democrat fallacy to blame every ailment and failure on someone else. Never take personal responsibility. It could not possibly be that the bell button was fifteen or more years old. They all stick eventually. Please don't seccumb to victimhood so readily.

PS: If a dip in your driveway causes rainwater to pool and you find a wet newspaper, guess what? It's your own fault, not that of the paper guy.

And by the way; Who among the sane cracks open a door and ask "Whatta YOU WANT?"

7:52a – Not “will” or “will be” - this has already happened! NPs are already seeing the patient prior to doc visit especially in gov’t hospitals. With the regulations that have been mandated there’s no possible way that a doc can take care of all these patients and process the paperwork that’s required now --- especially in gov’t hospitals. But, if you don’t jump on board with Obamacare and have electronic patient records (EHR), private docs will not be able to survive. They just can’t compete with gov’t. Gov’t hospitals have already moved into rural areas and pushing out the small town private docs/clinics and gov’t physicians are already travelling across MS to other clinics to see patients to tap into that market. This is happening RIGHT NOW in Mississippi but not quite in the media - sshhh. Either these rural docs retire or work for the state hospitals/clinics. Private hospitals will not be able to compete so they’ll end up partnering with the gov’t hospitals to survive (which yes, is already happening). The gov’t agencies have fed/state funding to buy bigger and better equipment at the taxpayer’s expense. Nothing wrong with a patient wanting to be seen by a clinic with the state-of-the-art equipment. And research the amount of incentive funding if you are on board with EHR (for Medicaid/Medicare patients)? Many hospitals have already moved the physicians as hospital employees to tap into these incentives. RX systems are already electronic (and not so reliable). And this was not done by just Republicans or Democrats – it was a joint effort. All saw the opportunity to make mullah. What’s even more interesting is that Republicans state they are against Obamacare? H.B. (guess who?) spoke at the MS Hospital Association about 8-9 years ago to push the EHR (Electronic Health Records) with all govt hospitals in MS so that records could be easily accessible within hospitals – yes, that was the reasoning behind “EHR” initially. A few years later, EHR starts. Oh, no, it has nothing to do with Obamacare – this guy was “against” Obamacare but maybe he saw an opportunity? And Noooo, it was NOT a precedent …..but YES, it was a precedent and “he” was on board with this! But “us” taxpayers are so out of touch that we can’t see the logic behind what these politicians are doing. But many made MILLIONS on this project to get the EHR underway with many contracted companies, consultants, and well (let me clear my throat), “other” private companies to get this done. MILLIONS! Could the jumpstart funding to get everyone on board with EHR be from the ARRA funding? And… WHO was the guy that got this done??? WHO???? I’m not telling! ‘cuz I’m not one to gossip.

10:59p.. What I want to know is why wasn't the homeowner at work? Oh, a democrat. Nevermind.

10:59pm... poor thing. That's the worst thing in this person's life - a broken doorbell. My goodness what's your address, hell, I'll mail you a $20 bill just to shut up but let me cash my welfare check first. Oh wait I've got to go... my doorbell is ringing I think it might be a republican.

Handyman Ted said...

PS: There is almost zero current running through a doorbell button so, not to worry. Just remove two screws (the x indicates you need a philips head), detach two small wires, remove and discard bell button unit, replace with new unit (any hardware store has them), put two screws back in, press doorbell to check your work, wait for wife to answer door with 'What the hell do YOU want?'

The democrats LOVE the tea party. It's done more damage to the republican brand in the last 5 years than any democrat could ever think of doing.

They literally sit back and just watch the show!!!

Ever heard of the saying, " give someone enough rope and they'll end up hanging themselves?"

Umm yeah. Connect the dots.

You pseudo-republicans will do anything to denigrate true conservatives (tea party) in an effort to keep this Antique-Edsel in the Senate Garage.

What we've got here (other than a failure to communicate) is about six Thad junkies repetitively posting, attempting to out-nasty each other. This little group of chirpers are ALSO whores, having sold themselves and their moral compass to the Cochran Cult (home of the Chairman of Whores) for ten pieces of silver.

The chairman of whores? You people need to go back to bible thumping and stay out of public policy.
Honestly.

Trollfest '09

Trollfest '07 was such a success that Jackson Jambalaya will once again host Trollfest '09. Catch this great event which will leave NE Jackson & Fondren in flames. Othor Cain and his band, The Black Power Structure headline the night while Sonjay Poontang returns for an encore performance. Former Frank Melton bodyguard Marcus Wright makes his premier appearance at Trollfest singing "I'm a Sweet Transvestite" from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." Kamikaze will sing his new hit, “How I sold out to da Man.” Robbie Bell again performs: “Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be Bells” and “Any friend of Ed Peters is a friend of mine”. After the show, Ms. Bell will autograph copies of her mug shot photos. In a salute to “Dancing with the Stars”, Ms. Bell and Hinds County District Attorney Robert Smith will dance the Wango Tango.

Wrestling returns, except this time it will be a Battle Royal with Othor Cain, Ben Allen, Kim Wade, Haley Fisackerly, Alan Lange, and “Big Cat” Donna Ladd all in the ring at the same time. The Battle Royal will be in a steel cage, no time limit, no referee, and the losers must leave town. Marshand Crisler will be the honorary referee (as it gives him a title without actually having to do anything).

Meet KIM Waaaaaade at the Entergy Tent. For five pesos, Kim will sell you a chance to win a deed to a crack house on Ridgeway Street stuffed in the Howard Industries pinata. Don't worry if the pinata is beaten to shreds, as Mr. Wade has Jose, Emmanuel, and Carlos, all illegal immigrants, available as replacements for the it. Upon leaving the Entergy tent, fig leaves will be available in case Entergy literally takes everything you have as part of its Trollfest ticket price adjustment charge.

Donna Ladd of The Jackson Free Press will give several classes on learning how to write. Smearing, writing without factchecking, and reporting only one side of a story will be covered. A donation to pay their taxes will be accepted and she will be signing copies of their former federal tax liens. Ms. Ladd will give a dramatic reading of her two award-winning essays (They received The Jackson Free Press "Best Of" awards.) "Why everything is always about me" and "Why I cover murders better than anyone else in Jackson".

In the spirit of helping those who are less fortunate, Trollfest '09 adopts a cause for which a portion of the proceeds and donations will be donated: Keeping Frank Melton in his home. The “Keep Frank Melton From Being Homeless” booth will sell chances for five dollars to pin the tail on the jackass. John Reeves has graciously volunteered to be the jackass for this honorable excursion into saving Frank's ass. What's an ass between two friends after all? If Mr. Reeves is unable to um, perform, Speaker Billy McCoy has also volunteered as when the word “jackass” was mentioned he immediately ran as fast as he could to sign up.

In order to help clean up the legal profession, Adam Kilgore of the Mississippi Bar will be giving away free, round-trip plane tickets to the North Pole where they keep their bar complaint forms (which are NOT available online). If you don't want to go to the North Pole, you can enjoy Brant Brantley's (of the Mississippi Commission on Judicial Performance) free guided tours of the quicksand field over by High Street where all complaints against judges disappear. If for some reason you are unable to control yourself, never fear; Judge Houston Patton will operate his jail where no lawyers are needed or allowed as you just sit there for minutes... hours.... months...years until he decides he is tired of you sitting in his jail. Do not think Judge Patton is a bad judge however as he plans to serve free Mad Dog 20/20 to all inmates.

Trollfest '09 is a pet-friendly event as well. Feel free to bring your dog with you and do not worry if your pet gets hungry, as employees of the Jackson Zoo will be on hand to provide some of their animals as food when it gets to be feeding time for your little loved one.

Relax at the Fox News Tent. Since there are only three blonde reporters in Jackson (being blonde is a requirement for working at Fox News), Megan and Kathryn from WAPT and Wendy from WLBT will be on loan to Fox. To gain admittance to the VIP section, bring either your Republican Party ID card or a Rebel Flag. Bringing both and a torn-up Obama yard sign will entitle you to free drinks served by Megan, Wendy, and Kathryn. Get your tickets now. Since this is an event for trolls, no ID is required. Just bring the hate. Bring the family, Trollfest '09 is for EVERYONE!!!

This is definitely a Beaver production.
