Runoff right?

Correct.

You either love Ty Pinkins or hate him LOL

George Soros tried his best to get this Marxist elected.

This is not a primary, knucklehead. It’s the general.

No runoff in congressional elections

Anonymous said...

What a terrible travesty. Win or lose, she’s a loser, unfortunately

The people have spoken. CHS gleefully supported endless war, famine, and genocide. Funny how Trump tried a last hour "hail Mary" by announcing he is ending funding for Israel. They knew exactly why they were going to lose.

Kingfish said...

Funny you should say that. Of all people, I had a conversation with Stacey Pickering years ago and he made a valid point. He said Soros wasn't funding D.A.'s just to wreck the criminal justice system. He said Soros was creating a farm team because D.A.'s had a decent record of getting record to higher office. Well, that is true in Mississippi. Two D.A.'s are Congressman as is a Sheriff. Another D.A. is in the lead for Senator. What was Jeff Landry? Might be something to that.

Hyde Smith is a very unlikable candidate. Dry personality and weak. I forced myself to vote for her but never cared for her for one minute. Chris McDaniel would have done more than she has done.

Arizona, Colorado and Washington all are passing measures to ban males trans in female sports. These measures will now go before voters in all of the states.

Anonymous said...

Getting squeezed by both sides of our government........no real , trustworthy moderates willing to run because the machine decides the candidates anyway. SEE: Ron Fuller. Anyone notice Trump mentioning his name at any point ? Exactly.

Anonymous said...

It's my understanding that MS state law allows up to 5 business days after the election for provisional and absentee ballots to be counted, so it might be a while.

Anonymous said...

What's a shame is the low IQ American system of corralling the entire US population into 2 political parties.

Anonymous said...

Go and look at the numbers for this election vs 2024. Republicans simply didn't come out to vote. For example in Desoto County- Democrats got 28K vs Republicans with 24K. Compare that to 2024 where Democrats got 28K and Republicans got 48K. Democrats hit the margins they normally do, but Republicans just didn't want to vote.

Anonymous said...

@9:10......Wife and I agree 100%. The Ms Republican party blew this bigly .

Anonymous said...

When the first reaction is "blah blah Soros, yadda yadda Marxist" it tells me you learned absolutely nothing from this shellacking that occurred last night. Learn about the issues. Educate yourself on actual policy positions and don't resort to cliches and platitudes. CHS is going to lose because she was an unlikable candidate that offered nothing but a trump vote. Hasn't passed a single piece of legislation, hasn't offered a single idea on how to make the country better and she refused to debate because she's a weak candidate.

Thanks to Phil Bryant

The Republican Party in Mississippi has lost the Middle Class and the Small Business Owners. The Leader of the Party comes across as arrogant. Hurst needs to step down.

Anonymous said...

Makes me wonder how in hell Michael Guest ever got elected and why he gets re-elected. What an unintelligent dullard. I put him in the same camp with Cindy in that regard. If either of them would have been primaried, surely somebody would emerge that would be electable, exciting and could have played first string. These two are riding the pine other than for an occasional so-called conservative vote.

Kingfish said...

About Desoto. Don't forget that election last year, what was it, Hernando or one of the other towns. Town is split almost evenly between R and D. D''s won all council seats. R's lost other towns around Mississippi last year while the state leadership focused on the coast.

In my biased opinion, GOP would have fared better last night if Trump had wiped out the whole mullah/IRGC hierarchy and missile systems in his initial attack, and been done with it. Then let Israel/IDF guide the country to elections. If Trump had done so, Hormuz Strait would have opened with no more attacks, gas prices would have dropped quickly, he could have spent all this wasted time dicking around with Iran rehabbing the Economy and Israel would be on friendly footing with the new Iranian regime, instead of a protracted stall for a "Deal" that could never ever happen with this regime of fanatic twelvers.

Iran is going to have a nuke bomb in 4 years. Illegal immigration is going to pour in again. Fixing to start building me a fallout shelter in my backyard. I'm a 81-year-old & all I got is a shovel and a pick. There is a big a socialist wave. And it is true that, with his victory in Michigan, the hard-Left Abdul El-Sayed has scored a shocking win against both the Republicans and moderate Democrats.

Anonymous said...

Yep, no runoff possibility for this one.

New Title to be added to Government Letter Head, United Communist States of America.

I dislike all politicians but will vote for those who atleast voice a Conservative, Constitutional credo. I have a deep disdain for communists and jihadists, particularly IslaMarxist hybrids.

@8:56 - in case you haven’t figured it out from last night’s results, calling all the democrats socialists while promising $5000 to vote republican isn’t the best strategy. People are done with believing the right wing lies about the democrats.

Anonymous said...

@9:10
- on the other side of things, i felt great after casting a ballot for Scott Colom. It warmed my heart voting for someone i believe will do better for us. You should try voting for the better candidates instead of just sticking to a party line vote. It’s good for the soul.

Anonymous said...

Can someone help me understand the process for counting the remaining votes in the Senate race? Are they still counting today and results will be published periodically throughout the day? Where is the official source for looking at this?

Anonymous said...

@9:51 - sorry you didn’t get your free $5,000. Handouts like those don’t get offered that often, must be tough at your age to have the rug pulled out like that again.

Anonymous said...

Desoto County = South Memphis. It is NOT a "republican stronghold" and should not be characterized as such.

Anonymous said...

I know some of you RINOs on here vetoed democratic because you hate trump but when the socialist democrats take power raise your taxes and take your guns DONT complain! You voted for this!!!!

Anonymous said...

I would take her any day over a liberal democrat

Anonymous said...

I hope Scott doesn't win. We don't need anymore democrats destroying the 1st and 2nd amendments. Too bad people are voting democrat because they think democrats will fix their healthcare (hint: they won't), and that they are too broke to afford an additional $1 per gallon in gas.

Anonymous said...

"Deeze gas and grocery prices be crazy"...so they vote for the party that seeks to end fossil fuels, fertilizer and farming.

Anonymous said...

9:50 - You are spot on. I never understood why Trump let Iran off the hook and allowed them to make a monkey out of him right up to the mid terms. It was a masterful plan, and I don't mean that respectfully.

Anonymous said...

On what planet do you think the IDF could have resolved anything in Iran? Israel can't resolve the tiny Gaza strip. Iran has 90 million people and they are not keen on being friendly with the Israelis.

Trump caused this. Jumping out of the JCPOA without any plan to replace it and then starting a war that literally every foreign policy strategist could have told you would have ended with the Straight being closed. He anointed a FoxNews host as the Sec Def. He routinely backs horrible candidates (Graham, Paxton, Herschel Walker, Dr Oz) and time and time again makes unforced errors.

Anonymous said...

I forgot about that part about Desoto, thanks for reminding me. But we can look at Rankin county too. This year Republicans got 31K vs Democrats 18K. In 2024 Republicans got 49K vs Democrats 16K. That is a massive drop off. Is it because Trump isnt on the ballet? The war in Iran? The economy? Why did no Republicans vote??

Anonymous said...

Madison County turned blue and you can thank grandpa Gene and grandpa Steen for chocking the Madison County Republican Party. Nice work.

Anonymous said...

Apparently, when the voters deliver a message, the first instinct is still to blame George Soros, Marxists, RINOs, immigrants, and anybody else who wasn’t in the room. Maybe after years of treating Trump like a messiah, people are finally getting tired of the circus. Cindy Hyde-Smith made her entire political identity about being a reliable Trump vote. Turns out a congressional seat is supposed to represent actual constituents, not serve as a loyalty punch card for an Antichrist. And calling everybody who disagrees with you a communist isn’t a governing philosophy. It’s an admission that you have run out of arguments.

Anonymous said...

I don’t think it matters what Collum or CHS says they are going to do. Once in office they are going to do what the party tells them to do. CHS is a big disappointment…. But Collumn is going to support AOC, Muslims, and whatever the Party tells him to….

Anonymous said...

Hopefully her space at the Blake or St. Catherine's is waiting for her. Adios.

Anonymous said...

I wonder what counties still has votes to count.

Krusatyr said...

Use your hand tools to build a garden so you can eat. Iran is not going to waste a nuke on MS, they will target NYC, Dallas, Houston and L.A.

Anonymous said...

I personally think this is just a referendum on CHS being hand picked for us as a US Senator. Was never qualified and is just a rubber stamp vote on whatever comes up. For the commenter asking about Guest, he’s the same and another insider placement due to his dad’s Rankin Co. GOP connections. (The daddy thing is apparently important in the MS GOP: Harkins, Powell, Pickering, etc). Everyone I know that has dealt with Guest says he has the personality of a block of wood.

Any nuclear power plant is a target. Even the shoddily run Grand Gulf NPP is a target.

Anonymous said...

Looks to me like the last votes to be counted are in Tishomingo and Jackson County. Colom leads with 43 votes. CHS could hang on.

Anonymous said...

For what it’s worth we went to the precinct where we have voted every election for the last 30 years. My husband had to cast a provisional ballot because he was not on the roll. The worker said we were the third family with the same situation yesterday.

Krusatyr said...

10:20am
Non fanatical, every day Iranians know the Regime, not Israel, is their enemy. But they all have friends and family who have been blinded, shot or hanged for wanting freedom. Israel could help them with elections and freedom after we kill all the Regime and IRGC hierarchy. Or it could have worked a year & 1/2 ago. Now we have a pro jihadist Democrat party elected, who want Jihadists and Marxists to destroy America.

Anonymous said...

The question is what counties the last 30k votes coming from?

Anonymous said...

+100,000

LMAO YALL make sure the MSGOP isnt bringing in any coolers and suitcases alright?!

Suppose Iran gets 6 nuclear weapons, where will they send them? TelAviv, Jerusalem, NYC, Dallas, Houston and L.A.
Not MS. They would go for the roots of our economy. Of course Iran would then become radioactive dust, but those fanatic twelvers believe the Mahdi would then appear and welcome them to Paradise.

Anonymous said...

@10:44 Yep

Anonymous said...

As a non-voter I agree, but also the left does the same when the voters speak. The left comes out with the name calling, blaming, and conspiracies also. Just speaking as a person on the outside looking in it’s really funny to watch the two sides do the same thing but never realize it.

Anonymous said...

Since the Donkeycrats insist doing so is legit, why not?

Anonymous said...

The MAGA movement is over with. Trump had ten years. It's time for us Republicans to take our party back.

Anonymous said...

The MAGA movement is over with. Trump had ten years. It's time for us Republicans to take our party back.

You'll never unify the party with that attitude. You can't win with a base of only RINOs.

Anonymous said...

Time for more change! It must break to be fixed. We cannot continue down the paths we zigzag down like a yo yo. Not sure anyone realizes the problems but give enough rope and we can hang ourselves. That is how we learn. Maybe the survivors will make the necessary changes. Republicans messed up when they forced stupidity (Hyde Smith) down our throat.

Anonymous said...

It’s past time for her to go. Too bad Republicans couldn’t have run a stronger candidate.

Anonymous said...

I read where Hinds County stopped counting votes at midnight. Don't know
how many votes are there.

Phil Bryant’s legacy. A hand-picked Senator going down in flames. Soon to be followed by a goobanatorial candidate.

Trollfest '09

Trollfest '07 was such a success that Jackson Jambalaya will once again host Trollfest '09. Catch this great event which will leave NE Jackson & Fondren in flames. Othor Cain and his band, The Black Power Structure headline the night while Sonjay Poontang returns for an encore performance. Former Frank Melton bodyguard Marcus Wright makes his premier appearance at Trollfest singing "I'm a Sweet Transvestite" from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." Kamikaze will sing his new hit, “How I sold out to da Man.” Robbie Bell again performs: “Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be Bells” and “Any friend of Ed Peters is a friend of mine”. After the show, Ms. Bell will autograph copies of her mug shot photos. In a salute to “Dancing with the Stars”, Ms. Bell and Hinds County District Attorney Robert Smith will dance the Wango Tango.

Wrestling returns, except this time it will be a Battle Royal with Othor Cain, Ben Allen, Kim Wade, Haley Fisackerly, Alan Lange, and “Big Cat” Donna Ladd all in the ring at the same time. The Battle Royal will be in a steel cage, no time limit, no referee, and the losers must leave town. Marshand Crisler will be the honorary referee (as it gives him a title without actually having to do anything).

Meet KIM Waaaaaade at the Entergy Tent. For five pesos, Kim will sell you a chance to win a deed to a crack house on Ridgeway Street stuffed in the Howard Industries pinata. Don't worry if the pinata is beaten to shreds, as Mr. Wade has Jose, Emmanuel, and Carlos, all illegal immigrants, available as replacements for the it. Upon leaving the Entergy tent, fig leaves will be available in case Entergy literally takes everything you have as part of its Trollfest ticket price adjustment charge.

Donna Ladd of The Jackson Free Press will give several classes on learning how to write. Smearing, writing without factchecking, and reporting only one side of a story will be covered. A donation to pay their taxes will be accepted and she will be signing copies of their former federal tax liens. Ms. Ladd will give a dramatic reading of her two award-winning essays (They received The Jackson Free Press "Best Of" awards.) "Why everything is always about me" and "Why I cover murders better than anyone else in Jackson".

In the spirit of helping those who are less fortunate, Trollfest '09 adopts a cause for which a portion of the proceeds and donations will be donated: Keeping Frank Melton in his home. The “Keep Frank Melton From Being Homeless” booth will sell chances for five dollars to pin the tail on the jackass. John Reeves has graciously volunteered to be the jackass for this honorable excursion into saving Frank's ass. What's an ass between two friends after all? If Mr. Reeves is unable to um, perform, Speaker Billy McCoy has also volunteered as when the word “jackass” was mentioned he immediately ran as fast as he could to sign up.

In order to help clean up the legal profession, Adam Kilgore of the Mississippi Bar will be giving away free, round-trip plane tickets to the North Pole where they keep their bar complaint forms (which are NOT available online). If you don't want to go to the North Pole, you can enjoy Brant Brantley's (of the Mississippi Commission on Judicial Performance) free guided tours of the quicksand field over by High Street where all complaints against judges disappear. If for some reason you are unable to control yourself, never fear; Judge Houston Patton will operate his jail where no lawyers are needed or allowed as you just sit there for minutes... hours.... months...years until he decides he is tired of you sitting in his jail. Do not think Judge Patton is a bad judge however as he plans to serve free Mad Dog 20/20 to all inmates.

Trollfest '09 is a pet-friendly event as well. Feel free to bring your dog with you and do not worry if your pet gets hungry, as employees of the Jackson Zoo will be on hand to provide some of their animals as food when it gets to be feeding time for your little loved one.

Relax at the Fox News Tent. Since there are only three blonde reporters in Jackson (being blonde is a requirement for working at Fox News), Megan and Kathryn from WAPT and Wendy from WLBT will be on loan to Fox. To gain admittance to the VIP section, bring either your Republican Party ID card or a Rebel Flag. Bringing both and a torn-up Obama yard sign will entitle you to free drinks served by Megan, Wendy, and Kathryn. Get your tickets now. Since this is an event for trolls, no ID is required. Just bring the hate. Bring the family, Trollfest '09 is for EVERYONE!!!

This is definitely a Beaver production.
