Rankin-Madison District Attorney Bubba Bramlett issued the following statement.
Madison and Rankin Counties’ District Attorney Bubba Bramlett announced that James Dylan Little, 22, of Brandon, has pled guilty to Aggravated Domestic Violence. Little was sentenced to twenty (20) years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC), with ten (10) of those years to serve, and the final ten (10) years suspended. Upon his release, Little will be supervised by the Mississippi Department of Corrections for five (5) years. Little was also ordered to have no contact with the victim.
On April 28, 2024, the Brandon Police Department responded to a 911 call made by a concerned neighbor of the victim. Upon arrival, officers observed that the victim had sustained significant injuries. Paramedics were called to the scene and transported the victim to the hospital for treatment. Based on the evidence, Little was arrested for Aggravated Domestic Violence.
“Our office is unwavering in its commitment to addressing domestic violence in our communities,” District Attorney Bramlett stated. “It is crucial for individuals to recognize the signs of domestic violence and to report any suspicions to law enforcement. We extend our gratitude to the Brandon Police Department and concerned neighbors in this case for their dedication to protecting this victim of domestic violence.”
Kingfish note: The victim was a current or ex-girlfriend.

Rankins will Rankin, where wife beating is considered the national sport.
@9:56
I owe no allegiance to Rankin County, but I have lived here my entire life. I cant say I have ever met anyone who beat on their partner here. I think its pretty unfair to make sweeping generalizations about entire populations of people based on the actions of a few, but thats just me, you do you boo.
@9:56 I will bet you $100 there is more wife-beating taking place in Jackson and Canton than in all of Rankin.
The girlfriend should have cooked him up a big pot of scalding hot grits.
Hope with that aggression he can stand up to the prison population, otherwise he going to be someone b****h!
You make a fair point. However, the perverts tend to hang around north of Rankin County on the other side of the Rez.
Hahahaha, not the scalding hot grits
Now that the "goon squad" has broken up Rankins have found another avenue to vent their 'roid violence.
I assure you, we’ve all encountered people who experience or commit partner abuse, even if it’s not apparent. The higher the tax bracket, the more discreet it tends to be, but rest assured, it’s happening in Rankin, Madison, and Hinds counties.
MEANWHILE: Rankin loses the monthly contest to Humphries (barely)!
