Of particular interest was a type of cleavage site able to interact with furin, an enzyme expressed in human cells...Since the genetic code of the coronavirus that caused the pandemic was first sequenced, scientists have puzzled over the “furin cleavage site.” This strange feature on the spike protein of the virus had never been seen in SARS-related betacoronaviruses, the class to which SARS-CoV-2, the coronavirus that causes the respiratory illness Covid-19, belongs.
The furin cleavage site enables the virus to more efficiently bind to and release its genetic material into a human cell and is one of the reasons that the virus is so easily transmissible and harmful. The president of Eco Health Alliance is Dr. Peter Daszak. He's also the one behind the letter from 27 "scientists" published in the Lancet claiming that the virus did not come from a lab.
These people are creating bio-weapons using the euphemism "gain of function research" to disguise what their doing.

One thing being alive a long time has taught me is that professionals generally do their jobs. The research community does not need my two cents worth to figure stuff out. First, that is after all what viruses do, they mutate, adapt, find new ways to fulfil their destinies as obligate intracellular parasites. Second, that's what scientists do, they divide over competing hypotheses. I don't understand virology, to speak of. I doubt most of the folks who stumble up on this stuff first thing in the morning do either. It's great fun to think we're smart. Very few of us are.
5:36: this just shows what you know. The life expectancy of humans, even with the Wuhan virus, is still greater than that of a fly. So although some have died, we are yet to drop like flies. On average a fly lives 2 to 3 weeks, so we are ok...immunized or not.

I do not understand people who think we should all ignore any inquiry into the actual origin of this very serious plague which has completely altered our civilization. IF it IS engineered by man, the next question would be, WHY? For what purpose? Is it weapons technology or medical accident? We might finds out that our response to this thing could be all wrong. Some of this stuff is only speculation but what's wrong with knowing?

1) we could control the labs of other countries and/or force them to admit anything or do anything based on U.S. public opinion.
2) no scientists or political leaders in any affected Nation( who are in stronger positions than someone who has to use UTube to contribute) are investigating.
We are in danger of destroying our democratic republic because some Americans never learned how to distinguish between a credible source and an unreliable source of information.
Nor did enough Americans bother to learn how our government works and what responsibilities are in each branch of government.
Little on social media is credible and much of it is contaminated by cyber propagandists trying to "divide and conquer".
Our enemies are winning. That we have reduced our population by nearly 700000 means fewer workers and product output. Our enemies want us to lose faith in our institutions. They would love another civil war. They would also love to see our democratic republic fall as that will also weaken other democratic republics.
