Good job, morons, good job.
It apparently never occurred to anyone that toilet paper is produced domestically.
Update: Kroger I-55 was out of toilet paper AND water. Didn't know water came from China although it might come from Ecuador.

Of course not. Most likely to be impacted is coffee.
They're waiting for the shortage so they can resell at double the price.
Well, not necessarily. The TP that I buy on Amazon says: "Manufactured in the U.S. with foreign and domestic materials."
What tickles the shit out of me, no pun intended, is all their grocery money was spent on toilet paper and the dockworkers just came off strike. Fun times.
Chuck is hiding it at Smith Wills.
And just like that, the strike is over.
One thing is for sure….we are not gonna use our bare hands to wipe our asses.
Bottled water comes from Byram, courtesy of Jackson. TP is made all over the US. But given the intelligence of our populace in Miss, the stores might be short of TP for a few weeks.
Head of the dock workers union has a salary of $900,000/year. Jimmy Hoffa is smiling.
Hey! Wake-up call: WE LIVE IN MISSISSIPPI!
80% of dock workers make 125 k a year, 85% of dock workers have no high school dip. the head of that union makes 925k a year , every dime that the workers get he gets 1/3rd, it is him that is looking for that raise. check the number of immigrints and of what coutries they from came into this coyntry last year , haiti plus is stagering , i beleave our childen are doomed.
Oh! We are in Mississippi - proven beyond a doubt.
Thank god for organized labor. Y’all’d like ‘em to be be living below Mississippi stardards for hard work!
Bidet
I installed a heated Japanese bidet back during the Plandemic and have not regretted it yet. I only put TP out for the guests.
Never doubt stupid Americans caring about their own asses first in times of crisis
No wonder we keep electing the same morons over and over.
I installed a bidet in 2018. Best ROI ever.
And making its own toilet paper is about all the industrial might the US can attain anymore until production of toilet paper can be packed off to China. Oh, and don’t forget broomsticks. When you see “MADE IN USA” on a broomstick, be assured you are looking at the best broomstick in the world.
That picture was taken at Madison Sam's yesterday at 4. Damn parking lot was filled up as if it were Christmas week. Couldn't even park on the outer row by Grandview.
The West Coast ports were not on strike! Asian ships such as China go into West Coast ports not the ones on the East Coast that were on strike!!
Spoken like a true bigoted New Yorker: https://nypost.com/2024/10/03/business/nyc-costco-shoppers-empty-shelves-in-panic-over-port-strike/
What's the old saying? "No one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the buying public", or something like that.
Doesn't water come from Fiji? At least for those snobs in NE Jackson.
As others stated, I am less angry at the ridiculous buying behavior but genuinely sickened by how this just factually proves how selfish and idiotic our society is. And these moron's vote counts the same as yours and mine.
No wonder our nation is doomed.
When most of the population is a product of the dysfunctional public schools, dysfunctional parents and get their knowledge from TikTok.
Idiocy at its finest. But, don't get too comfortable with the notion of the West Coast workers staying out of it. And, the western ports have been congested already, so quite a few container ships are going through the Panama Canal and unloading at ports in the Gulf.
My wife went to Sam's in Madison to get paper towels and baby formula, because you know, we actually need them. TP and paper towels were wiped out. She was able to get some formula though, although it was slim pickins. I do know that formula is one of the things that people are sending to NC, so that might be the reason for that shortage.
I believe it would be accurate for Mississippi to have the slogan, "Home of the Village Idiots."
"caring about their own asses first in times of crisis"
hahaha. This is what happens when people get their information from social media. Dumbasses spreading bad information from other dumbasses. The herd instinct is strong.
Morons. All of them. And you know some of them are reading the comments. When the world around you goes to hell, TP is the last thing you'll be wanting. You'll eventually run out of bottled water as well. If it gets so bad we run out of TP, we've got way bigger things to worry with.
No shortage here. I have six large cases of TP. If someone is in need, I am selling them for 25-cents/square.
9:58, you hit the nail on the head.
I'm guessing that 90% of your posters on this site have once again hoarded toilet paper and water. They get their news and research from Facebook which is much more accurate than real research.
I went my Walmart in Madison today to buy some paper towels and they were sold out! Hey Chokwe, this is just like COVID. Your Jackson constituents are coming into Madison County and are "panic" buying all of our products once again. I live in Gluckstadt. I pay taxes in Madison County. WE ARE SICK AND TIRED OF YOUR CITIZENS COMING INTO OUR STORES AND BUYING UP EVERYTHING.
Why don't you stop taking care of your buddies and bring some big box stores to Jackson? Oh I forgot, no business wants to come there anymore. Finally, you anonymous posting MAGA'S are always putting down Madison County
County. Yet, "YOU WILL NOT STAY AWAY!" Keep on spending your tax dollars in my County or other surrounding municipalities. Thanks to you, we are booming and thriving , everyday.
#jacksonsucks
If I had small children at home, I'd probably be terrified of running out of TP too.
As it's now Autumn there are lots of leaves that can substitute for TP, but don't use nettle.
Kroger on Spillway Rd was cleaned out last night. What is wrong with people?
Is this an election year thing that's going to keep happening every four years? Do we need massive amounts of paper products to wipe off all the bullshit?
