The Justice Department issued the following statement.
A Mississippi man has been arrested on felony and misdemeanor charges related to his alleged conduct during the breach of the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. His actions and the actions of others disrupted a joint session of the U.S. Congress convened to ascertain and count the electoral votes related to the 2020 presidential election.
Donald Walker, 48, of Kosciusko, Mississippi, is charged in a criminal complaint filed in the District of Columbia with a felony offense of obstruction of law enforcement during a civil disorder and misdemeanor offenses of entering and remaining and disorderly conduct in a restricted building or grounds and parading, picking, and demonstrating and disorderly conduct in a Capitol building.
The FBI arrested Walker on Monday, March 25, 2024, in Jackson, Mississippi. Walker made his initial appearance in the Southern District of Mississippi.
According to court documents, on Jan. 6, 2021, a man, later identified as Walker, is seen on Metropolitan Police Department body-worn camera footage approaching the police line and bike rack barricades established on the West Plaza of Capitol grounds. Walker is then allegedly seen locking his arm through a bike rack barricade and pulling it toward him as officers attempt to defend the police line and gain control of the barricade. Police then disperse a chemical irritant at Walker, and he is seen retreating from the police line.
Walker then re-approaches the police line and again allegedly grabbed the bike rack barricade and attempted to wrestle it away from a police officer. Walker is again sprayed with a chemical irritant by police, causing him to retreat.
Court documents say that Walker later entered the Capitol building via the Parliamentarian Door at approximately 2:54 p.m.
The U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Columbia and the Department of Justice National Security Division's Counterterrorism Section are prosecuting this case. The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Mississippi provided valuable assistance.
The FBI's Jackson and Washington Field Offices are investigating this case. The U.S. Capitol Police and the Metropolitan Police Department provided valuable assistance.
In the 38 months since Jan. 6, 2021, more than 1,358 individuals have been charged in nearly all 50 states for crimes related to the breach of the U.S. Capitol, including more than 486 individuals charged with assaulting or impeding law enforcement, a felony. The investigation remains ongoing.

A complaint is merely an allegation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.

That's nice, but when are members of the Biden crime syndicate going to be indicted. Asking for a friend.
When the feds get after you, there is no escape.
And to think, some people believe we live in a free country.
What a maroon…
6:34: Some time after they storm the capital and attack police.
7:19 and sometimes they are at a peaceful protest and burn and loot cities and set up autonomous zones and completely take a city hostage and get praised by congressional leaders…
7:37. Where does indictment say he attacked police? Impeding law enforcement and obstructing a proceeding. But 3 years and 2 months later is ludicrous. Good thing he didn’t protest in front of an abortion clinic!!!
about 1400 people charged......well, thats all fine and good.
now, tell me when they are going to start indicting people involved in the BLM riots and pillaging that took place in summer of 2020 .
or is it politically incorrect to indict them?
Sorry 7:37! Intended for 7:19 the liberal.
KF? Your comment at bottom of press release about innocent till proven guilty? Definitely not DOJ!
7:37 for stating the obvious has made the best post today.
My comment?
B-b-but whatabout…!
Y’all are pathetic!
8:13 They are very pathetic! ;)
But it's ok when antifa and blm have "mostly peaceful" riots and arson.
being held accountable for his actions and decisions , nothing else !!
Deal with it , he effed around and found out .
Uncontrollable crime and drugs and we are still wasting money and efforts on this. The libs control everything.
I especially loved the part where COVID wasn't an issue for the BLM riots and protests.
Tens of Thousands of BLM protesters were arrested and prosecuted . Like the folks on J6, the charges fit the crimes they committed. Let’s not forget they weren’t trying to attack the Capitol or trying to stop an election of our President .

Let this be a lesson. Never attempt to jerk a bike rack on federal property or three years later, due to facial recognition, you'll be charged with 'picking', whatever the hell THAT is.
Hey 5:06, a Trump said go protest "peacefully and patriotically".
Kamala Harris publicly fund raised for the bail of BLM riots and said the riots "would continue until election day."
BLM riots killed 35 people with billions in damage. No one shot by police.
Jan 6, nary a weapon was found but a woman was murdered in cold blood by a cop. How does one overturn an election or overthrow the most armed government in history without any weapons?
USA Today?! Some source. What's next? The National Inquirer?
A "Fact-Check by USA Today."
Winner of the most sarcastic post of the day!
Well played! Most clever!
This is a two tiered justice system. Liberals get away with anything. Conservatives targeted. Just ask peter Navarro.
You mean that if you participate in a riot and attack the capitol to interfere with the certification of an election, you are held accountable? Wow! It's almost like we have laws or something.
Now, if only mango man that incited the riot could be held accountable instead of using the money of maga cultists to avoid responsibility.
Many are the nights the last three and a half years that I have awakened in a cold sweat thinking what tyranny we would be living under had the Donald Walkers of Kosciusko been successful in their nefarious deeds.
Yes if only the Jan 6ers had burned down a target after looting it. They would be ok now.
Just the opinion of one military veteran.
If I knew back then what I know today, Canada would have had one more person in their country. But at that time I believed in our country. It wasn't until I got out of the military that I started to see what the citizens of the U.S. really thought of the military. Being spit on by people who did not serve their country came as a surprise. It has all been downhill since then. Veterans are still treated like a red headed step child. Now our politicians do not even care enough to try to cover up their criminal tendencies. They have actually a special set of laws pertaining to only themselves. Now are borders are not much more than a line on the ground that anyone can cross with danger of being stopped. More money is spent on illegals than is spent taking care of the veterans who have fought to provide protection for the borders of other countries. Our politicians can and do try to destroy people who do not belong to their party. This is no longer our country.
I don't know why some of you think any of us approve of looting or vandalism or doing bodily harm to anyone. It is also stupid as it demeans the purpose of the protest. Some of us were in a generation of peaceful protests where the "authority" figures shot and killed those just marching or sitting in.
Equating those protests or the protests where criminals in other cities seized an opportunity with Jan 6th or for that matter, Charlottesville is ridiculous.
First of all, the purpose of the "protest" was to stop the Vice President of the United States from carrying out his sworn duty. The protestors wanted to kill Pelosi as well and hang Pence. They put up a gallows. They attacked and injured capitol police officers. The vandalism was done in one of our historic buildings. If the purpose was just to interrupt a procedure in the Senate, the vandalism was of the House was especially unnecessary. The damage was of things that are irreplaceable and devalued after mending. American walnut not longer replaceable. Some of the glass broken was blown glass.
This was an insurrection and those who were smart left the crowd or building right away. There's video of every hour now.
The idiots who stayed were also ignorant of the value of what they careless broke and damaged ($5 million worth) much of it was irreplaceable. They were ignorant about how elections are done in the states. They were ignorant about why the courts where challenges were lawfully made were unsuccessful at trial and at appeals denied by the current Supreme Court. They were dupes...they believed a lie as Big as Hitler's lie that Jews caused all of Germany woes instead of WWI. They didn't know Trumps appointees on the Supreme Court denied the election was "stolen" and denied the " cause" of the protesters as just.
What the protesters were for the most part were " losers" and poor "losers" at that. And more than a few were convicted felons. They blame others and never look in the mirror. They wanted to feel " important" and " smart" because they hadn't in their own lives. Their only small successes had been by bullying others or backing a bully in high school. The rest were dupes used by the sociopaths/con artists/and criminals that plague us and as often is the case, become "right fighters" who never can admit they were ever wrong no matter how much evidence they are shown.
And worse still is the threats and harassment of ordinary American people who were simply doing their jobs as clerks. That's imitating Nazi " Brown Shirts". That turned out well, didn't it? Or maybe you admire the Putin model...sorry Putin was subtle in he's march to power and didn't become a criminal until he had power wrapped up and his organizations were effectively in operation.
So who is Antifa(you do know that stands for anti fascists, right?) threatening to kill? Is it their skin color? God forbid we should have blacks know fascism is bad for them as well as Jews. And, who in Antifa has been convicted of crimes? And why is it that all these Democrats you want to convict and actually investigate, can't be convicted? Are you too stupid to find evidence? How many millions and how many years on Hiliary and now anyone with the last name of Biden?
Put up or shut up. If you can't back up your claims, don't make them. I have ZERO sympathy from the people who damn near pulled off a criminal coup!
Those consequences for your own actions sure are tough. Too bad more people didn’t believe in law and order that day. Sure most of the blame is on Trump for lying to his cult and working them into a frenzy. His supporters were simply too dumb to know they were being used by Trump and will never be able to admit they were hoodwinked by such an honorable man as it would destroy their very foundation for being.
11:19 AM. That was very well said.
11:19AM, you probably believe the "fine people" hoax?
The collective ignorance of the Jan 6 attackers and their supporters is astounding.
This guy has probably been poaching next to and speeding down the Natchez Trace for years. Never took the Feds seriously until now...
March 27, 2024 at 11:19 AM, how many firearms were confiscated from the protesters? How many wounded were shot by the protesters?
March 27, 2024 at 11:19 AM, damn, dude, you're eaten up with it. The gaslighting is strong with this one.
What a strange event. The fed waited 3 years as to wait until the next election cycle to actually begin to process this (probably should be a misdemeanor case). I got a DUI several years ago. They were on my ass immediately.
Jan. 6 was a "mostly peaceful protest." There were tens of thousands of protesters in town, and less than 1% of them allegedly broke the law.
March 26, 2024 at 6:34 PM You and your "friend" can quit pontificating about your conspiracy theories. The assault on our nation on January 6th actually happened. Pay attention!
If they would only have accepted the offer of 10,000 national guard when Trump offered it.
Trump supported legal, peaceful protest and said so. Federal agents mixed with the protestors to egg them on, encouraging them to enter the building.
As for me, I don't trust the feds nor the whole city of DC, hence will never go there.
He’s innocent until proven guilty and it’s all on tape .
@6:19
DC is one of the most interesting places on the country to visit. It has so many museums and historical places. Are you saying that you couldn’t behave yourself for 2 days in order to see Skylab, an SR-71, a Space Shuttle, a docked Soyuz-Apollo, and Alan Shepherd’s Freedom 7 at the National Air and Space Museum in DC?
@6:19 - Trump said a lot of things, many of which contradict themselves. He will get his days in court. I don’t believe federal agents urged protesters to break the law, but I don’t really know. If you have any proof that occurred, please post it as I’d like to see it. It’s good to be skeptical of people in power like the FBI, but you probably need to apply that to Donald Trump as well. Having blind faith in any politician is not wise.
