Read 'em and weep: Hinds County precinct results

Here are the precinct results for both the June 3 and June 24 elections.  They include the Democratic AND Republican primaries.  Keep in mind the June 3 results are certified but the June 24 results are not but they are the final numbers as they still require a signature.  Posted to the left is a copy of the instructions given to poll workers. Enjoy.

Not sure if Cochran or McDaniel supporters can read sideways (first doc); but they sure can talk that way.

Can someone summarize this. My eyesight is not good. Thanks

Jackson Jambalaya has been made to look like a joke by Charles C. Johnson! if anyone should be weeping, it should be JJ.

Reposting from another thread in hopes that he'll see it:

Bill Billingsley, I ask in all seriousness because I respect you for openly taking a stand and supporting your candidate, what is your opinion on the events of the past few days (e.g. the preacher from Meridian, the conference call fiasco, and today's $1000 bounty offer)? Most of the vocal McDaniel supporters that I am hearing at this point are the same voices who I believed lacked reasonableness prior to June 24. As I said, I respect you so I'm just curious about your take on the current state of things. Thanks.

Download the docs. Here's the numbers:

6/3 Cochran 11,479 McDaniel 5830
6/24 Cochran 18,211 McDaniel 7150
Increase 6,732 1320

I finally figured out how to read page one after looking like an idiot for a minute there. I set my phone down flat and then stood by the side of my desk to look down at it. I refused to be defeated and save it on laptop and rotate the image. Man vs machine. Man wins.

Question: what am I reading? Does this prove all the claims of fraud by the McDaniel camp, and now they can proceed with picking out curtains for their DC apartments?

Sorry I'm so full of questions, but will all those illegal black voters be going to prison where they rightfully belong? If we run out of space for inmates, we can always find the money to build and operate a couple more facilities. Their kind of "democrats" ain't got no business voting except for their own. I love Mississippi, just the way Ross Barnett did.

Finally, do you reckon @ChuckCJohnson will be promoted to Comm Director, Press Sec, or (now I hate to start rumors) Chief of Staff? Per Mr Chuckie's own comments, he's done such great work for McDaniel, and I read many TP enthusiasts complimenting him on his heroic efforts on Twitler. In fact, many TP supporters of serious journalism (many have their own Facebook pages) have asked Chuck to consider running for political office himself. They're the ones who saw photos of his journalism awards and recognize award-winning journalism.

Happy 4th of July to all!

"Question: what am I reading? Does this prove all the claims of fraud by the McDaniel camp, and now they can proceed with picking out curtains for their DC apartments? "

No. All this tells you is that Cochran picked up 6732 votes in the run-off (compared to the primary). If 25% of those voted illegally, then you have about 1600 illegal votes in Hinds County alone.

I assume what the McDaniel camp is doing is comparing voters from the Dem primary with voters from the GOP run-off. If someone shows up in both, that's illegal and the vote should not count. Get enough of those and I have no clue what comes next. Another run-off? A special election? No clue.

Kingfish said...

At some point they will havr to show the alleged irregular votes by precinct. That is when this will be useful.

Anonymous said...

I can't read either, but would be interested to know total of hinds county voters voted democratic in primary and total hinds county votes for Cochran in run off.

Anonymous said...

Total Dems voting in Dem primary in Hinds County = 13,904. Increase in Cochran's totals in Hinds County = 6732

7:19,

I think you can do that by looking at the June 3rd certified vote that is the doc. just above the June 24th uncertifed vote.

Like everyone else my eyes are tired. It is time for a bourbon, so cliff notes would be appreciated on all of this.

It is my understanding McDaniel's is not finding a fraction of the illegal cross over. Heavily voted counties that had significant increase in voting numbers on the 24th are not producing. His people are trying to float 5 to 6 grand when the number is a fraction of that.

That is why McDaniel has gone to a Media Blitzkrieg of sensational drama, trying to pull as much attention and money as he can. This will be his swan song.

Can you have a swan song before you really have a career?

In the heart of Municipal Ward 3 at Lanier High-- Chris got 2 polls to Thad 30. I think the Secretary of State had a watch on that Stokes home poll box. At Wells Methodist Chris got zero polls to Thad 62. At the Gov. Winter poll box Chris got 93 to Thad 433. At Fondren Prez Chris got the mere 41 polls(noted by Perry) to Thad's 352. Methinks the Average Joe Entertainment LLC (Baird) vote purchases were in other more strategic state locations secretly vetted by state officials.

By my calculations he has 12 days from Monday, July 7 to challenge the results. At that point the window closes. So he has about two weeks to continue making accusations and fund raising off of them. At that point he needs to either cough up the "massive fraud" or drop it.

Anonymous said...

Harpie here...where's the evidence? Not here. No indication in these documents of anyone voting in the GOP on the 24th who voted in Dem primary on the 3rd.

If evidence exists and it's so " obvious" why is Chris trying to buy evidence?

I blame all this Tea Party nonsense on the internet. Before the internet, all the looneytoons stayed in their communities, on their porches, locked in their attics or their padded cells.

Then we got the internet and the nuts found out they could communicate with one another and organize. They can tweet and spread their theories like fire in a match factory, blissfully free of the chains "ethics" and "objectivity." They ALONE have access to "the real truth" of any controversy, waiting only on the delivery of the next outlandish email -- because, as so many of us, just like Pierre Salinger, learned early in the internet age, if something is a) typed into an email and b) not confirmable by any generally accepted confirmation practices, IT MUST BE TRUE.

Now, instead of just being those strays we all try to ignore at family reunions, they have become a movement (according to them). And they give themselves lofty titles like "journalist" and "Senator." And they invade our state and piss off our Circuit Clerks.

Oh internet, I just don't think cat videos and Facebook were worth this.

If evidence existed ... and it was so "obvious" that Mississippi Republicans wanted him so bad ... why did Thad see the need to hire Ol' "mugshot" Perry & Mitzi?

This should be recorded for the archives of future elections in Mississippi. While the Carhart crowd was obviously swayed in the last days due to their realization that Cochran actually had a hand in their construction job, the Mullett vote went decidedly for McDaniel. Moreover , the believers in the Founding Fathers and the sanctity of the Constitutional constructional-mentalists leaned toward the Whigs and the Torries which would leave one to think that Chris might be wearing a Whig, but in fact he wore a Mullet at Jones County Jr. College. Whereas and theretofore we must recognize that academia, Federally reliant contractors, municipalities and the like all appreciate Thad because he is approachable, has ideas, and actually does something for their communities, whereas McDamnyall recognizes that he will not do anything for you, while begging for your money, that he will then not support the Fed giving back to you in any way shape or form. And where are the big bald security guys that would probably have a Mullet if they could grow more hair on their head than on their chin? Happy 4th!

Taking a quick look at some of the numbers, it looks like Thad grew his totals by about 1500 votes in NE Jackson and over 3000 county wide from Republican leaning boxes. His NE counts were really very impressive. Bellhaven 483-96, Fondren Pres 352-51 (87%), Morris Library 772-150 (83%) In fact, NE Jackson as a whole went to Thad roughly 6800-1500 (81%)

Throwing the GOP boxes in Hinds, Madison, Lauderdale and Rankin together,Thad grew his overall totals on 6/24 by over 10,000 votes. Of course according to the McDaniel camp, this can't be, every one of Thad's new voters was Liberal Democrats.

Anonymous said...

and EVERY Republican voted in the primary? right. a lot of the cochran pickup could be from Republican voters who thought Thad would win but were wrong and now had to go to the polls

even most Liberals would not vote for Al Gore again- he made a mockery of himself down in Florida with the hanging chads. The same is going on right now..

Joseph's Uncle

Mississippians didn't need Mitzi.
I never heard of Mitzi until McDaniel people complained of her on this site.

And, Pete Perry has been in MS GOP politics for a long time. He shouldn't have been drinking and driving AFTER the campaign, but he knows his business and didn't do anything outside the election laws and rules.

Your campaign's problem is and was not knowing the law and rules even to this minute apparently.

Can't even sue the right people.

We know each other in MS. There are people around here, particularly in Hinds and Madison who are from Jones County or went to camp or school with people who knew the McDaniel family.

As for me, when I heard the talk long before the campaign when his name first came up. I did my own research.

TL McDaniel and Ford and Mike Mills have a history easy to verify. And, Ford gave an interview during the campaign.

If you want to blame someone ( and obviously you do) blame your boy's campaign manager and staff.

You don't take money or help from infamous people and if you make a mistake and miss someone, you return their contribution and let them know their help is not needed as politely as possible. If the mistake of their contribution or help becomes public, you get your candidate out in front of it with a " thanks but no thanks" statement.

This isn't hard.

This campaign was as badly run as any I've ever seen including some of the candidate's speeches.

All McDaniel ever had to do was stay on a fiscal and social issue message and find polite ways to say Cochran's time had passed and youth and vigor was needed.

The truth is too many white Mississippians have dealings now with the rest of the world and are tired of our backwards citizens embarrassing the hell out of us and painting us all as rubes! And, we get especially " pissy" when it's some transplant like Barrett was or some out of state yahoos coming in to beat our bushes for the dumbest of us they can find and parading them out in public!

Anonymous said...

6:55 am Actually, every Republican I know in Hinds, Madison, Rankin and Clinton not only voted, but urged all their GOP friends and relatives to do the same!

And, it was the women leading this!

We were all reminding each other and our husbands and children as well as our friends and making sure if anyone was going to be out of town, they got an absentee ballot before they left! We even contacted women whose kids graduated and made sure they made sure their 18 year olds got registered and showed up. We asked them to get their college kids home to vote this time.

Thad's campaign didn't ask us to do that. We did it ourselves! Every white woman I know in those counties ( and I know many) was " getting out the vote" just like we did for the accursed Referendum ! Remember that 60% win?!

We even asked any African Americans we knew that if they didn't vote in the primary, to please consider voting in the run off for Thad.

We like some of you Tea Party folks. Some of you are our friends, neighbors and employees. We just don't like your politics and we are going to let you foist them on us ever again!

The Steel Magnolias in this state will smile at you politely and we aren't going to argue with you at a social gathering but we will damn well try to make sure you don't win!

Yes, but those person-to-person "dealings" around the world consist of boots-on-the ground in the 150 plus military "outposts" and killing fields around the globe, while Old Glory "proudly" waves in the background, planted amidst the burning rubble of civilizations much older than our own. The Pentagon's Tilt-To-Asia containment of China will be OUR waterloo.

And on Mike Mills' writing the MSSC majority opinion nailing Beckwith the the cross in his appeal of the murder conviction of Beckwith?

(snippet) from Chief Justice Dan Lee's dissent:

The majority's affirmance of Beckwith's conviction places us on the precipice of legal misadventure. Beckwith's constitutional rights to a speedy trial and due process have been seriously and egregiously violated. The State delayed prosecution of Beckwith for some 9,706 days and, with the legal equivalent of a "straight face," asks us to ignore Beckwith's constitutional rights to a speedy trial and due process. The task of this Court is to determine whether or not the trial Beckwith received was constitutionally fair. Clearly, it was not. His trial, conducted in a circus-like atmosphere, was rife with discovery errors, as pointed out by Justice Sullivan's thoughtful dissent, and riddled with egregious constitutional errors. Both practically and legally, the majority opinion results in a total eradication of the guarantee of a speedy trial from the constitutional lexicon. For the foregoing reasons, I must dissent.

If you are harvesting African American votes you have to buy them where the Secretary of State is not looking and the places where they go for less than $20. Baird said they needed 10k polls to lock out McDaniel. For a state-wide race in Jackson's ward three they go for $30.

Anonymous said...

Adams is a cheap place to buy votes. But they are looking now.

Hinds County is brimming with bureaucrats and merchants whose livelihood is based on federal assistance to Mississippi. Many more federal employees live in the suburbs of adjoining counties. Right. Federal money goes out to the rural areas in huge amounts. The Jackson metro area is hardly dependent on it. There is an actual economy there, but they are not so stupid as to do math for the whole state and appreciate a bipartisan system. That's just laughable. Do some actual research. For example, go to the EWG farm subsidy database. Over 1,000 Jones County grants, free stuff you wail about, went to folks there in McDaniel Central. So, in contrast, CDC reports 32,807 disabilities in Jones County MS. Yep, 32,000 old folks and methheads with "back injuries" wailing for McDaniel to cut "Gubmint" EXCEPT for their Medicare, Medicaid, SNAP, SSI for drug addiction disability, and other freebies down at the trailer park. So, you can cut out Grandma's Social Security and Bubba's meth money and little Sister's ADHD "crazy money" for her kids and see how "sovereign" you really AREN'T from the Federal Government. Did Chris object to the new Federally paid road up to Jones County Junior College? Nope. Records are there. Stop the hypocrisy.

Deadline or not, McDaniel is highlighted in a pretty informative NYT article today. All eyes on this race. I wonder if Childers will win now. What a messy table we set.

These TP idiots who will vote for Childers need to realize he is a democrat, and will vote the party line. Helping the demons control the senate and keep Pelosi and reid in charge doesn't make conservative sense, nor placing him in office as a freshmen. McDaniel is smoke and mirrors/get over it. Hopefully he is washed up in politics. Eventually the truth will surface, whether the people he has rallied which to accept it or not.

The McDaniel for Senate FB page is pretty entertaining. First they quote Austin Barbour out of context saying the Cochran campaign wants you to "shut up". Pre election that site was full of Sunshine pumpers. They are getting as many negative comments on the site as positive and some of the comment and response threads are downright comical.

We also know an appeal can be made beyond our State if Dan's minority opinion had a legal snowball's chance in Hell.

SCOTUS doesn't accept Sixth Amendment Speedy Trial cases! Why would revisiting Hilburn's kangaroo court trial at Batesville cause heads to roll? If Beckwith was the lone assassin as you claim, you would have nothing to fear but fear itself? You must also know that the Louisiana State Supreme Court vacated that State of Louisiana court's five-year prison sentence meted out to Beckwith in the 1974 "ticking timebomb case" in New Orleans, after the Federales had failed to convict on essentially the same charges;the State only had to prove that Beckwith "knowlingly" transported explosives without a permit. The vacated court decision occurred afer Beckwith had completed a full five-year term incarcerated at Angola Prison. One of the reasons cited for the vacated court decision was that the presence of five female black jurors did not constitute a "jury of his peers." At Batesville, the jury consisted of eight black jurors.

It is false to claim that peoples in Iraq or Afghanistan had any connections to the events in NYC and DC on that day 11Sept2001! There was never a jury impaneled to see the evidence and assign guilt or innocence. All the aircraft that hit NYC and the Pentagon departed from JFK and Boston. Only the incredibly naive would believe some bearded guy living in a cave in Bora Bora coordinated these attacks.

Patriotism, though it is based upon the natural and indeed instinctive love of home, has been elevated in the modern world into an unparalleled congeries of imbecilities. What it demands of the individual citizen, as a practical matter, is that he yield not only his judgement but also his property and even his life to whatever gang of scheming politicians happen to be in power. The essence of his virtue as a patriot is that he ask no questions, once the band is set to playing.~ H. L. Mencken... again.

Allow me to educate you, Mr. 5:53. I sell ads to everyone. I reached out to both sides to buy ads on my website and have the emails to prove it. One side decided to buy them, one side chose not to do so as is their right.

When it comes to selling ads on my site, I am like Michael: Its business, not personal or politics. Everyone gets treated the same.

However, since you have the mentality of a two year old, you might not be able to understand such fundamental principles of business. Not to mention I would be an idiot to risk getting in trouble with the FEC if I refused ads from one side.

Besides, I'm a greedy capitalist pig. Do you REALLY think I would turn down money from the McDaniel side? Seriously.

Haley's Harpies are now concerned that Republicans may vote for a Democrat in November, while all of those harpies voted for a Democrat's retention a few weeks back.

Meanwhile, the true Republicans and conservatives are busily counting thousands of 'voting mistakes'.

12:44 and lets not forget how Judge Weisenberger has sudddenly gone under the radar after allegedly slapping someone in public and "redefining" MS DUI laws, but hey I guess thats what works, Maybe Guest should become the Tri-Counties' DA, we all might be a lot better off.

Thad's goose is cooked if there is an honest judge in the Land of Corruption.

The " harpies" aren't against crossover. They are pointing out the end result which is the Democrat gaining a seat. The " harpies" are Republican conservatives.

And, while we understand why a Democrat choosing to crossover is logical and consistent with their stated beliefs in the recent GOP runoff, we are puzzled why a group who claims to be fiscal conservatives wouldn't want to try for a GOP majority with a MS Republican on appropriations.

We aren't , unlike you, challenging your right to vote for whomever you please come November.

And, this "harpie" likes to be able to crossover, particularly in local races!

McDaniel people, try to stay focused and not drag in extraneous complaints.

Please click on ( which few of you have apparently done) the Poll Worker Instructions. Note each candidate gets a Poll Watcher.

Please know note there is a Poll Worker Handbook.

If any of you would bother to read it or when you vote ask what the notions beside your name are, you might be reassured!

The McDaniel Poll Watcher should have been perfectly capable of catching any irregularities and submitting them immediately. They should have been known and reported BEFORE the vote was counted.

Are y'all admitting the Tea Party has so little support that you , in a year's time couldn't find a volunteer to train to Poll watch every precinct?

You managed in my precinct. The watchers are easy to spot. They are either sitting at the table without the books in front of them or standing just behind the poll workers.

It is that you don't know how the system works that allows others to play you!

9:33 -- I"m in agreement. I voted in a NE Jackson precinct, and noted a number of people sitting to the right of the check-in table. Not realizing at first, they were poll watchers, I smiled and ask the lady sitting in the first chair, if there had been brisk turnout........she smiled, and said "Unfortunately yes" which I thought was an odd answer.

Once Thad carried the precinct with HUGE numbers (much more than in the original primary), I realized who she was (McDaniel poll watcher), and was she was upset (huge turnout in a precinct/area they knew supported Thad in large numbers).

766,000 Voters......that's the number in 2008 that voted for Thad. Is it too complex for McDaniel supporters to understand that the TP had reached saturation, and Thad had 200,000-300,000 voters, who had previously voted on him, to reach out to......numbers from previous elections don't lie.

Remember also -- these numbers are from the year Obama ran his first campaign in 2008..........so there was a large Democratic turnout and many of them voted straight Democrat.

There were a large number of untapped Republicans who had voted in 2008 to reach out to.......the Cochran campaign did so effectively.

Explain this.....McDanielites. Is it possible, more moderate elements in our state came out and made their voices heard......just not screaming in your face, as you have done to us, the last few months.

can anyone from Mississippi explain the Rankin and Madison counties' District Attorney Michael Guest's penchant for throwing the book at people, and then backing off with "probation" instead of jail time?

5 yrs for registering a felon to vote?
10 years for housing the "town's" trailer at your house in a town of 300-400 people? Bassfield?

$500,000 and $250,000 bail for taking a picture of an old lady in a nursing home?

charging a school nurse for $16,000? for some kind of leave not used correctly or an incorrect title or ???

why are Stacey Pickering and Michael Guest going after such low level issues? are things really that quiet in Mississippi? or does Michael Guest's collections company get a take on all of the fines?

gee... Mississippi is one politically tough state.

Mr. Guest did not prosecute the cas in Madison Municipal court. Get your facts straight. Madison (city) prosecutor Trae Sims handled the case. Mr. Guest could not handle it until after the preliminary hearing. It was actually Mr. Guest who got a higher court to reduce the bail so you should actually thank him instead of insulting him.

Mr. Guest did not charge a school nurse for anything. She has not been charged with a crime. The State Auditor is seeking a civil penalty against her.

Mr. Guest actually prosecutes voter fraud. How many DA's do the same? Hell, we can't even get Mike Brown to trial or a prosecution of THomas McClinton in Hinds County.

A woman I know is fond of saying " Fine!" to her husband when she's failed to convince him that she's right and he's about to make a big mistake and embarrass himself.

Even after disasters of repairs that made things cost more or dozens of social embarrassments or paying too much for something that wasn't worth it, he is still mule headed and she still says " Fine!" far too often.

So to the McDaniel folks on this " illegal crossover" nonsense, I just say " FINE".

I'm sure like old mule head, when there's no evidence you'll still not be able to admit you were wrong.

And, my out of state friends and the two stationed overseas want to thank you for the giggles.

Trollfest '09

Trollfest '07 was such a success that Jackson Jambalaya will once again host Trollfest '09. Catch this great event which will leave NE Jackson & Fondren in flames. Othor Cain and his band, The Black Power Structure headline the night while Sonjay Poontang returns for an encore performance. Former Frank Melton bodyguard Marcus Wright makes his premier appearance at Trollfest singing "I'm a Sweet Transvestite" from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." Kamikaze will sing his new hit, “How I sold out to da Man.” Robbie Bell again performs: “Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be Bells” and “Any friend of Ed Peters is a friend of mine”. After the show, Ms. Bell will autograph copies of her mug shot photos. In a salute to “Dancing with the Stars”, Ms. Bell and Hinds County District Attorney Robert Smith will dance the Wango Tango.

Wrestling returns, except this time it will be a Battle Royal with Othor Cain, Ben Allen, Kim Wade, Haley Fisackerly, Alan Lange, and “Big Cat” Donna Ladd all in the ring at the same time. The Battle Royal will be in a steel cage, no time limit, no referee, and the losers must leave town. Marshand Crisler will be the honorary referee (as it gives him a title without actually having to do anything).

Meet KIM Waaaaaade at the Entergy Tent. For five pesos, Kim will sell you a chance to win a deed to a crack house on Ridgeway Street stuffed in the Howard Industries pinata. Don't worry if the pinata is beaten to shreds, as Mr. Wade has Jose, Emmanuel, and Carlos, all illegal immigrants, available as replacements for the it. Upon leaving the Entergy tent, fig leaves will be available in case Entergy literally takes everything you have as part of its Trollfest ticket price adjustment charge.

Donna Ladd of The Jackson Free Press will give several classes on learning how to write. Smearing, writing without factchecking, and reporting only one side of a story will be covered. A donation to pay their taxes will be accepted and she will be signing copies of their former federal tax liens. Ms. Ladd will give a dramatic reading of her two award-winning essays (They received The Jackson Free Press "Best Of" awards.) "Why everything is always about me" and "Why I cover murders better than anyone else in Jackson".

In the spirit of helping those who are less fortunate, Trollfest '09 adopts a cause for which a portion of the proceeds and donations will be donated: Keeping Frank Melton in his home. The “Keep Frank Melton From Being Homeless” booth will sell chances for five dollars to pin the tail on the jackass. John Reeves has graciously volunteered to be the jackass for this honorable excursion into saving Frank's ass. What's an ass between two friends after all? If Mr. Reeves is unable to um, perform, Speaker Billy McCoy has also volunteered as when the word “jackass” was mentioned he immediately ran as fast as he could to sign up.

In order to help clean up the legal profession, Adam Kilgore of the Mississippi Bar will be giving away free, round-trip plane tickets to the North Pole where they keep their bar complaint forms (which are NOT available online). If you don't want to go to the North Pole, you can enjoy Brant Brantley's (of the Mississippi Commission on Judicial Performance) free guided tours of the quicksand field over by High Street where all complaints against judges disappear. If for some reason you are unable to control yourself, never fear; Judge Houston Patton will operate his jail where no lawyers are needed or allowed as you just sit there for minutes... hours.... months...years until he decides he is tired of you sitting in his jail. Do not think Judge Patton is a bad judge however as he plans to serve free Mad Dog 20/20 to all inmates.

Trollfest '09 is a pet-friendly event as well. Feel free to bring your dog with you and do not worry if your pet gets hungry, as employees of the Jackson Zoo will be on hand to provide some of their animals as food when it gets to be feeding time for your little loved one.

Relax at the Fox News Tent. Since there are only three blonde reporters in Jackson (being blonde is a requirement for working at Fox News), Megan and Kathryn from WAPT and Wendy from WLBT will be on loan to Fox. To gain admittance to the VIP section, bring either your Republican Party ID card or a Rebel Flag. Bringing both and a torn-up Obama yard sign will entitle you to free drinks served by Megan, Wendy, and Kathryn. Get your tickets now. Since this is an event for trolls, no ID is required. Just bring the hate. Bring the family, Trollfest '09 is for EVERYONE!!!

This is definitely a Beaver production.
