Rankin County Sheriff Bryan Bailey issued the following statement.
Two Killed in Accident on Shell Oil Road
On Monday evening April 17, 2017 at approximately 8:30 p.m., the Rankin County Sheriff’s Department received a report of a one vehicle accident in the 1800 block of Shell Oil Road in Rankin County. Rankin County Deputies along with the Shell Oil Fire Department, Robinhood Fire Department, Pafford Ambulance and Rankin EOC responded to the scene. Once on scene, responders found that a Chevy SUV appeared to have run off the roadway, flipped onto its side and struck some trees causing heavy damage to the vehicle. Both the male driver and the male passenger died on the scene. Rankin County Coroner David Ruth responded to the scene and recovered both bodies. The accident is currently under investigation by Rankin County Deputies.

When I lived there Shell Oil Rd was known as a race track.
All you folks who are dead set against supporting radar in Rankin cause you want to get on down the road might remember this when one of these fools is headed towards you or a loved one.
