This is the very definition of insanity. If this is not a clear signal to relocate the department to a safer and more productive environment, I'm not sure what would be.
Meanwhile, a state agency can contract to have potable and non-potable water brought on site. This is not the first emergency in this nation.
Hopefully these employees are not sent home with pay but are productively engaged, on the clock, at other locations.
Two whole weeks and counting without water for large swaths of Jackson. Doing great, Antar!
I sure need an STD test-
"Welcome to the Mississippi State Health Department. Please do NOT drink our water."
Call in the company clap doctor, there is going to be crisis for sure.
But 10:28. The city engineer (Who goes by Doctor) on tv said on Saturday after the ice storm that the water would be on the next Monday or Wednesday (apparently Tuesday was a holiday). That’s been 3 weeks ago. Maybe you ought to call and ask why yours is not on?
Why would we need the health department during a pandemic? This is the true definition of insanity. I am pretty sure there are some area in Iraq without water. Did they close the war down. Apparently not, but you can ask the family of the American killed today.
