Bill Maher poked some fun at the placement of social justice warning labels on My Fair Lady and a plethora of other beloved movie classics last week. Hollywood apparently thinks we are so fragile that we can't watch a movie without a teaching lesson. You can't make this up.
Hmmm..... sort of reminds one of Rush's Environmentalist Whacko football picks.
Actually, Mr. Maher is not completely joking. TCM came out with a list of 18 "problematic" classic movies and yes, My Fair Lady was on the list. Article.

The ultra-progressives think that thought control for the masses is necessary since ordinary people are too ignorant to recognize truth. The problem is that THEY define TRUTH and for them truth is forever changing. That's why they are called progressive.
7:59 is right. Narrative construction is all that matters. We have to eliminate anything opposed to our objectives. Free thought is racist.
Think I heard a trickle...Time to Change the Sheets! BWC

If the Chinese decide to land anywhere in California, they will be (way past) Vegas within a week.
What was the Powers Boothe character's quote in the 80's flick, " Red Dawn" :
" We stopped em' at the Mississippi River' ?
I tried to laugh but all I could think about is what an awful human he is.
