William Shatner is 90, yes, 90 years young today. Here are some of his most memorable scenes.
There were these scenes as well.

Why didn't you post some of his singing, such as Mr. Tambourine Man or Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds? Or his brilliant version of Elton John's Rocket Man where he puffs on a cigarette like a teenager smoking his first Winston?
I think I will dig out my of copies of TekWar.
The best was the SNL skit of Shatner at the Star Trek convention and his line, "Get a life"

I just watched Nightmare at 20,000 Feet last week. Classic!
Shatner got even better with age. His Denny Crane persona in Boston Legal is one that only he could pull off.
Shatner has never been a great actor, but he will forever be an icon in American Pop Culture.
Happy Birthday Bill, I thought you were much younger .
(You're looking good) !
Two to beam up Scotty,
... Kirk out.
We need some highlights from "TJ Hooker," punk.
To everyone calling Bill a terrible actor. Let’s take a look at the best and worst Starfleet captains.
William Shatner as Capt. James T. Kirk - supposed bad actor, but the best character
Patrick Stewart as Capt. Jean Luc Picard - great actor, but Capt. Picard was a snorefest
Avery Brooks as Cmdr. Benjamin Sisco - supposedly bad actor, But Cmdr. Sisco was great and had some of the best one liners after Kirk
Kate Mulgrew as Capt. Kathryn Janeway - classically trained actress, another snorefest despite Voyager being a great series
and finally Scott Bakula as Capt. Archer. Scott Bakula basically play himself. In fact when he was recording his “Captain’s Log” he could’ve very well been recreated a scene from Quantum Leap.
Picard needed Q to liven him up. Q usually stole his episodes in both series.
Holy smokes someone else remembers TekWar
A sci-fi franchise William Shatner himself created, but just couldn’t escape the shadow of Star Trek.
sorry...I never forgot Bill’s unexplained cancellation of his Jackson engagement... I suspect a case of woke-itis
How many of the original bridge crew of the NCC-1701 are left? I know George Takei is still alive due to his insufferable tweets.
" Let’s take a look at the best and worst Starfleet captains. "
Let's not.
But if you like such ... knock yourself out.
Those Syfy "conventions" remind me of a gun show for nerds.
I had to attend one of these events with my 11 year old nephew a few years ago.
I saw two thirty-something year old fat guys get into a fight about "Star Trek" & "Star Wars".
Some girl in green body paint actually intervened to break up their fight.
Someone told me she was mutant turtle.
WTF ?
But ... that was the funniest thing I've ever seen down at the Trademark building.
@8:18
Star Trek vs Star Wars is a pedestrian/elementary fandom.
Uber Nerds quote lines from Babylon 5 and Stargate.
SyFy?
sheesh. go back to watching espn and cable news
( The best was the SNL skit of Shatner at the Star Trek convention and his line, "Get a life" )
Most definitely 11:58.
That was not only a classic SNL skit, but so very accurate with many of the "fans" that show up at these events. (Not all, but many) ... only basing that observation on what I witnessed at my nephew's syfy event.
One example, (there was a break-away meeting from the big meeting to debate Star Trek uniforms)
SMH !
Hey, I loved the original show, a few of the 80's movies, and the next generation series.
He had fun, and that's all that mattered.
Now he's much older and into girls ... and that's a good thing.
Anyway, Happy Birthday William Shatner !
Saw him as Bacchus XIX in NOLA for the 1987 Mardi Gras parade. People were chanting "beam me up" from the sidewalks.
@8:15 Besides Shatner and Takei, Walter Koenig (Chekov) and Nichelle Nichols (Uhura) are still with us. However, Nichols has dementia and no longer appears in public.
I always liked the humpback whale movie
“nuclear wessels”
“hello computer”
I can’t believe I al the first to say it...
Live long and prosper
You people who spill a huge pile of your most inner thoughts and feelings here and expect me to read it should "get a life".
