The Clinton Police Department issued the following press release:
Clinton Police Bust Prescription Forgery Ring
Clinton, Miss. (August 18, 2016) On
08-08-2016, the Clinton Police Department (CPD) and the Mississippi
Bureau of Narcotics (MBN) began working multiple prescription frauds in
the Hinds County and Warren County areas.

In
the course of the investigation, the CPD and MBN determined the source
of the fraudulently manufactured prescriptions. The CPD issued a
document search warrant for the residence of Bobby Colbert Jr, 229
Springfield Circle in Jackson, Mississippi.
On 08-18-2016, at approximately 09:30 am,
the CPD and MBN, aided by the Hinds County Sheriff’s Office Drug
Interdiction Unit, executed the search warrant. In addition to eight
(8) fraudulent prescriptions recovered, the CPD and MBN recovered
suspected counterfeiting instruments and counterfeit United States
Currency. Forty-One (41) pages of fake currency was found.
Items
seized; three (3) firearms, two (2) printers, forty-one (41) pages of
counterfeit currency, eight (8) fraudulent prescriptions, and drug
paraphernalia.
Bobby Colbert Jr. was arrested on a CPD arrest warrant and is being held in the Clinton Jail on $100,000 bond.
The
CPD has an active arrest warrant for an additional suspect, Jariid
Gibbs of 23 Success Drive in Bolton, Mississippi. Individuals with

The
MBN is actively investigating several other counts of Prescription
Fraud having been committed in the Hinds and Warren County areas that
Colbert is believed to have manufactured. The counterfeit money case will be adopted by a federal agency for further investigations.

I can understand thugs running an illegal prescription ring, but they got greedy running pictures of money through the copy machine.
