Waaaaaaaaaaah!!!!!

The Order of the Sisters of Rukia Lumumba are not too happy with Judge Wintage.  The Poor People's Campaign issued the following statement yesterday:

Urgent Legal Update: Jackson Water Crisis 🚨

Since September of 2023, the Mississippi Poor People's Campaign and  the People's Advocacy Institute (PAI) have fought for the right of Jackson Residents to become parties to the ongoing Safe Drinking Water legal proceedings between the EPA, DOJ, the City of Jackson, and the new water company - JXN Water.

The EPA and City of Jackson have agreed to PAI’s and the MS Poor People’s Campaign request for community intervention. Yet, after five months, we still await 5th Circuit Court Judge Wingate's decision on the matter.

With the unwavering legal support of Forward Justice, the Center for Constitutional Rights (CCR), and the ACLU of Mississippi, a second request for community intervention was filed on February 13th, 2024. (Click HERE to read the request).

JACKSON RESIDENTS refuse to be silenced and will not let closed-door negotiations dictate our water's future.

Stay informed, engaged, and involved. Connect with us at safewater@peoplesadvocacyinstitute.com

Residents refused to be silenced? Guess what, po folks, you don't represent me nor many other Jacksonians.  Just because you appointed yourselves leaders of a mob doesn't mean you're leaders of Jackson.  You know who represents me? Mayor Lumumba and seven members of the Jackson City Council, the ELECTED representatives of the people of Jackson, not a few loudmouths.  Of course, representative government means nothing to the likes of these people when things don't go their way.

Check out their new complaint posted below.

They will never stop... what's wrong with these people?

Looks like Rukia still hasn't got the message that Wingate doesn't give a f--k about her and her merry group of loud mouths.

Not that he would do it but, I will make the first contribution to his campaign if his honor ever considers becoming Jackson's mayor.

What is wrong with these people is they want free water and sewage for themselves.

Go wingate go. What a scam these two have the brother screws up services and the sister sues for lack of services. A Real dream team

Guess what Rukia… I am a citizen of the city of Jackson and you certainly don’t represent me or my neighbors. Of course you probably would use the race card against our neighborhood and unlike your ass we do pay our taxes. You were defeated go away

Grifting ain’t cheap. We need to get paid!

This is one time where Wingate’s dilatory nature may actually be favorable and helpful.

Judge Wingate isn’t a Fifth Circuit Judge. He’s a district court judge. One would think this “people’s advocacy” group would know the difference.

The good news is that the Judge has a clear picture of these organizations as well as what the majority of Jacksonians think (from the request for comments from the public and the different court appearances). He's a smart Judge.

Henifin, I would think, has this same clear picture now.

What a waste of paper and time.

Maybe they should stop being poor and get jobs?

Seems Rukia didn’t read or have anyone read to to her dilutional cronies the comments that were overwhelmingly supportive of JXN water and not the city. She’s a moron of the highest degree. Rukia is a spoiled brat and that’s being kind!

At the core of these people's so-called "grassroots organizations" is the proposition that the government does not represent the interest of the "people" and that the "people" must organize to be heard. They then claim to be the "people's voice". Ironically when they elect/select themselves to be the government they still must find someone to complain about. If not Wingate it would be someone else. Ignore them.

Rukia et al, pay your taxes and ESAD.

Publicly available federal court proceedings aren’t exactly “closed door negotiations” but okay sista

It doesn't matter how many acronyms you collect on your side -- the answer is still "NO".

Anonymous said...

Let her and her group run EVERYTHING.

Stop sending state or federal money.

Let’s see how that works out.

She’s a goddamn racist and it’s quite disgusting.

“Closed door negotiations” - Ha! The Chowke cartel knows all about them, right?

They are mad since they can’t pull out that race card to use against Judge Wingate.

The corrupt mayor of Dolton Village, Illinois was in Flowood late last year. Wonder if they were comparing notes.

Anonymous said...

Didn't Wingate already smack those people down last summer?

Four more years of these grifters and Jackson, will pretty well be picked clean
Personal opine, ov course

I moved from the Jackson area to Long Beach 6 years ago and believe it or not we have similar issues with small groups of people trying to dictate for the masses.
Some people just don't understand that just because you are the loudest doesn't mean that you represent the majority.
Some things never change

Imagine these charlatans being required to prove that they actually represent poor people, or any people other than themselves. Stay strong, Judge! Don’t let the fraudsters waste our repair money.

Our mayor is a joke. The only way to get a meeting with him is to donate to his campaign.

Dear Judge Wingate, please use your discretion to sit on this until hell freezes over. Yours truly, a longtime Jacksonian who has had a belly full of the Lying Lumumba Fraud & Grift Circus.

Uh, Ms Lumumba, Jackson residents are already parties to the SWD legal proceeding and are being represented by the people they elected to represent them, i.e. the Mayor and the City Council. They are not and should not be represented by your or your organizations who they did NOT elect or choose to represent them in this matter. Nor do you or your organizations have any experience or expertise in running a water or sewer system, so you bring nothing to the table that would be helpful to the situation. When negotiating this agreement with the feds, your brother and the City Council could have asked that a citizen or citizens be appointed to or made a party in this matter for purposes of whatever you speak, but yet they did not do so and cannot do so after the fact. It boggles my mind that, when the system was failing under the leadership of your brother and his administration and that of prior Mayors and administration, you didn't boycott, protest, or demand to be involved. But now that the system is being run properly, now you demand to be involved. Stay out of the way and let the experts do their job, which they are in fact doing quite well right now and much better that the City itself was doing for many years.

Trollfest '09

Trollfest '07 was such a success that Jackson Jambalaya will once again host Trollfest '09. Catch this great event which will leave NE Jackson & Fondren in flames. Othor Cain and his band, The Black Power Structure headline the night while Sonjay Poontang returns for an encore performance. Former Frank Melton bodyguard Marcus Wright makes his premier appearance at Trollfest singing "I'm a Sweet Transvestite" from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." Kamikaze will sing his new hit, “How I sold out to da Man.” Robbie Bell again performs: “Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be Bells” and “Any friend of Ed Peters is a friend of mine”. After the show, Ms. Bell will autograph copies of her mug shot photos. In a salute to “Dancing with the Stars”, Ms. Bell and Hinds County District Attorney Robert Smith will dance the Wango Tango.

Wrestling returns, except this time it will be a Battle Royal with Othor Cain, Ben Allen, Kim Wade, Haley Fisackerly, Alan Lange, and “Big Cat” Donna Ladd all in the ring at the same time. The Battle Royal will be in a steel cage, no time limit, no referee, and the losers must leave town. Marshand Crisler will be the honorary referee (as it gives him a title without actually having to do anything).

Meet KIM Waaaaaade at the Entergy Tent. For five pesos, Kim will sell you a chance to win a deed to a crack house on Ridgeway Street stuffed in the Howard Industries pinata. Don't worry if the pinata is beaten to shreds, as Mr. Wade has Jose, Emmanuel, and Carlos, all illegal immigrants, available as replacements for the it. Upon leaving the Entergy tent, fig leaves will be available in case Entergy literally takes everything you have as part of its Trollfest ticket price adjustment charge.

Donna Ladd of The Jackson Free Press will give several classes on learning how to write. Smearing, writing without factchecking, and reporting only one side of a story will be covered. A donation to pay their taxes will be accepted and she will be signing copies of their former federal tax liens. Ms. Ladd will give a dramatic reading of her two award-winning essays (They received The Jackson Free Press "Best Of" awards.) "Why everything is always about me" and "Why I cover murders better than anyone else in Jackson".

In the spirit of helping those who are less fortunate, Trollfest '09 adopts a cause for which a portion of the proceeds and donations will be donated: Keeping Frank Melton in his home. The “Keep Frank Melton From Being Homeless” booth will sell chances for five dollars to pin the tail on the jackass. John Reeves has graciously volunteered to be the jackass for this honorable excursion into saving Frank's ass. What's an ass between two friends after all? If Mr. Reeves is unable to um, perform, Speaker Billy McCoy has also volunteered as when the word “jackass” was mentioned he immediately ran as fast as he could to sign up.

In order to help clean up the legal profession, Adam Kilgore of the Mississippi Bar will be giving away free, round-trip plane tickets to the North Pole where they keep their bar complaint forms (which are NOT available online). If you don't want to go to the North Pole, you can enjoy Brant Brantley's (of the Mississippi Commission on Judicial Performance) free guided tours of the quicksand field over by High Street where all complaints against judges disappear. If for some reason you are unable to control yourself, never fear; Judge Houston Patton will operate his jail where no lawyers are needed or allowed as you just sit there for minutes... hours.... months...years until he decides he is tired of you sitting in his jail. Do not think Judge Patton is a bad judge however as he plans to serve free Mad Dog 20/20 to all inmates.

Trollfest '09 is a pet-friendly event as well. Feel free to bring your dog with you and do not worry if your pet gets hungry, as employees of the Jackson Zoo will be on hand to provide some of their animals as food when it gets to be feeding time for your little loved one.

Relax at the Fox News Tent. Since there are only three blonde reporters in Jackson (being blonde is a requirement for working at Fox News), Megan and Kathryn from WAPT and Wendy from WLBT will be on loan to Fox. To gain admittance to the VIP section, bring either your Republican Party ID card or a Rebel Flag. Bringing both and a torn-up Obama yard sign will entitle you to free drinks served by Megan, Wendy, and Kathryn. Get your tickets now. Since this is an event for trolls, no ID is required. Just bring the hate. Bring the family, Trollfest '09 is for EVERYONE!!!

This is definitely a Beaver production.
