Tonarri Moore sure does have a habit of getting in trouble with the law. Moore pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court yesterday to one count of being a convicted felon in possession of ammunition.
The hearing took a different turn from the usual course most change of plea hearings follow. Although Moore waived indictment and agreed to prosecution by bill of information, the bill of information does not appear in the public court docket.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Carla Clark said Moore had prior convictions for manslaughter, conspiracy to distribute cocaine, and distributing cocaine. He served five years in prison for the manslaughter conviction back in the 1990's.
The DEA raided Moore's home in Edwards on September 14, 2021. U.S. District Judge Henry Wingate issued the warrant. Agents found "1-2 ounces of cocaine" hidden in a wall, marijuana, a loaded 9mm handgun found in the tank of a toilet, a hunting rifle, and various calibers of ammunition. Moore disagreed with the amount of cocaine stated by the prosecution as he had an animated conversation with his attorney, Princess Abby.
The defendant pleaded guilty. Judge Johnson set his sentencing for June 5 at 1 PM. Moore faces a maximum fine of $250,000 and prison sentence of 10 years. U.S. District Judge Kristi Johnson presided over the hearing.
As the federal case closes, a new one opens up in Madison against the Edwards resident. Madison police arrested Moore on January 7 for receiving stolen property and possessing marijuana after they caught Moore driving a stolen vehicle.
However, once Moore was arrested, JPD suddenly informed Madison Police the owner of the stolen vehicle said he was dropping the charges because there was a "misunderstanding." The charges are still pending against Moore.
Kingfish note: It will not be surprising at all to learn Moore is the confidential informant in the Marshand Crisler case.

Tonarri Moore is a get over guy. Do what I can to live the gang life like portrayed in American Gangster, Juice, Black Ceasar, Boyz n the Hood, Shottas, New Jack City, Menace II Society, Dead Presidents, Hoodlum, Set It Off, Paid in Full. Bluehill Avenue, Above the Rim, and Training Day. This is what our kids are watching making many morally corrupt.
Had to read this one twice. Bad enough then Kinfish's note at the end. Good grief. JPD telling Madison so drop the case. Your note explained that one.
Kinfish, I’m confused, sorry.
09/14/21, DEA raided house using warrant from US District judge Wingate’s warrant. Found cocaine, maijuana, guns, ammunition. Plead guilty. Judge Johnson set sentencing for June 5th. Faces fine and prison sentence, with US District Judge Johnson presiding.
01/07/24, Madison arrested him for stolen pro; and possession.
2/28/24, plead guilty, US District Court, 1 count convicted felon in possession of ammunition. US Atty brought up prior conviction for manslaughter, conspiracy to distribute cocaine, distruting cocaine. Served 5 years for manslaughter in 1990s.
1) in the 2021 one, sentencing on June 5. Is that June 5, 2022 or June 5, 2024?
2) has the 2024 case had its sentencing?
3) how is he not in jail from the 2021 with Feds (for his Jan 2024 Madison arrest)?
I'm sorry. I guess my coffee just hasn't kicked in.
“This is what our kids are watching making many morally corrupt.”, the default position of the human race is to be morally corrupt. To be otherwise requires continuous work. No one is naturally good.
He sure has been a great snitch for law enforcement.
Your brain is working just fine. The feds don't give out freebies so I'm sure you can figure out the rest.
He is obviously a "policeman's helper," aka S-N-I-T-C-H.
So, to recap: Marshand supplies the felon with a pistola and ammo. The feds arrest him with the ammo. And Kingfish has the unbelievable brain-flash that the felon may tell-on Marshand in order to lessen his sentence?
This is brilliant. WLBT could not write a better story-line.
