Don't think the Queen is scared. Blowout!

oh well, I am not surprised but yet I feel bad for Yarber. Of course, Yarber made missteps along the way that were awful and unforgivable, but to his credit, it's going to take more than any one human being can offer to turn Jackson around:

(1) Streets beyond DPW's ability and capacity to repair.
(2) Water Dept. with a collective IQ lower than Caitlyn Jenner's sperm count.
(3) Corruption at a level that even the FBI would be outnumbered and need to simply enact martial law to combat.

You can't expect him to make any good progress with the fire-proof employees that he has...and who would even wanna take their places at that salary and work environment?? Face it folks, the yazoo clay has won.

Anonymous said...

Hilarious. Hinds County Board of Supervisors sold out to Graham thinking they would jointly rule the roost after his victory. Graham barely got as many votes as some council contenders. Which supervisor jumps back from the dark side first? Peggy Calhoun should have run for Mayor.

I predict Graham is the first defector of the Graham coalition and leaves McQuirter and hound dog to flounder in their stupidity. Graham needs to position for 2021 starting May 3 and will support every position opposite Lumumba.

Help me Obi Won. Your our only hope.

Word in Madison is that Armstrong is winning boxes.

He must have won a mailbox.

Anonymous said...

Don't think Mary was scared - just wanted to wait and show her vast support in Madison. A complete and total domination of Armstrong!

I've got great credit - I'm just really bad at math said... said...

At 82% reporting only 257 Republicans voted in the primary - Crudup (the 4th runner up in the Democrat primary) got 700 votes. THAT my friends is the problem.

Two thoughts:
1. Why is the incumbent mayor of Jackson running ? He must have known he had no chance at all.
2. WHO would vote for Chucky LaMumba? If Chucky can win why wouldn't Kennuf run? Doesn't it take the same IQ to vote for either?

Anonymous said...

In Chuckaway acceptance speech he said South Jackson will be help & North Jackson will pay.
That is a blantent racist remark!
Gald I'm outta Jackswallyville.

10:11 - it's too late, Jackson will wind up a wasteland with no tax base and no full-time residents. I can't wait until the commuter tax idea is resurrected and "inspection" checkpoints are set up on Lakeland, Old Canton, HWY 51, State Street, 49, etc. How do you say "Wo sind deine papieren?" in Kush-ish?

Baby Chock's name is gonna look awesome on the airport sign - folks are going to think they got on the wrong flight...

Anonymous said...

Don't forget. BabyChok promised to sue Siemens and build sidewalks with the special sales tax money. That's right, spend money on sidewalks that would otherwise go to paving roads and sewage problems.

Anonymous said...

A white woman replaces MBS. That is sure to piss of Stokes.

Anonymous said...

Sucks that Gene won. I could careless about Costco, but our side of Countyline has gone to crap (homeless living in many buildings). More money going into his bike trails, pretty street signs, etc, than anything. I don't know any Ford was the right man, but...if someone with a little more business experience and financial backing would have ran, Gene could have been (and needed to be) beat.

Anonymous said...

Pearl election a scary thing. Turned into a popularity contest. Windham win. Very inexperienced. Promised a lot to friends. We will see what happens. Pearl could really suffer and when you look at the turnout the future of pearl could be based on 1500 voters which was the difference in the election. Total voters under 3000.

Anonymous said...

Couldn't care less and would have run. Please!

Anonymous said...

Can someone tell me what NE JXN neighborhood Antar lives in? I hope I'm close by where my roads will get paved.

1058 "Pearl election.."-- Brad you lost... get over it dont act like the Democrats

Anonymous said...

Hey Kingfish. Next time your out driving, take a cruise down Jefferson street between Fortification and Poplar. There's a mini version of Old Faithful spewing forth from the ground. Perhaps Little Chokwe will fix it.

So I gotta ask said...

What's the law on those that voted as Democrats in the Primary, can they vote as Republicans in the General election? Whole lotta votes for other than Chokwe once you total them all up.

Anonymous said...

Hey 11:27 - I work in Pearl. Live in another city. I saw first hand what I was talking about. Did not support the mayor. Did not support the new mayor. Just facts. Pearl has Trustmark Park, Outlet Mall, Bass Pro, etc. All right on Jackson border. If Pearl doesn't kick the trash back to Jackson they could be in trouble. The new mayor has been critical of police operations, critical of Rogers trying to run out the slum lords(FYI-the same slum lords who funded Windham campaign) and Windham has been critical of the strong relationship between the city and the Pearl Schools. Just facts.

Anonymous said...

Bullshit no one predicted an outright Lumumba win. I and other posters on this site have been saying it for a while. Hope those who wanted to piss off people in the suburbs enjoy setting their own house on fire. Look forward to crumbling infrastructure as your new mayor focuses on building Kush.

Big sale on homes in Northeast Jackson!

Anonymous said...

There's a party at the Malcolm X center in Harlem tonight. Payback is coming.

Get ready, whitey.

Anonymous said...

Jackson is 80% black. They just voted to make it 90% or more.

I'll bet you Margaret Barrett, now that she's retired, moves out to the suburbs. Half of Virgis constituents will do so.

The message is clear.

Anonymous said...

1227 Not the facts at all. You clearly either know nothing about the city of Pearl or you are a Brad cronie.

Anonymous said...

Y'all are pathetic. First off if you didn't leave during senior, how come you are leaving now that junior has been elected? Makes me think most of these folks making those comments here aren't really living in Jackson. Antar did not say that statement at all about making north Jackson pay for south jackson. You deliberately mis quoted him. He said if south jackson does not thrive, then more tax burden will fall on north jackson, which is correct. Antar lives in north jackson off pear orchard. I didn't vote for Antar, but he is not his father. He said all the right things in his speech tonight and none of it was radical or scary. He discussed infrastructure, education and crime. Let's give the guy a chance. Not very many intelligent people want this job. He at least has energy and appears pretty bright. But y'all keep on being message board haters, the lowest common denominator of human.

Anonymous said...

I've heard CL say multiple times that it's going to take ALL (he emphaizes all) people coming together to fix the issues. What's wrong with that? Also, the guy didn't chose his name so I'm not going to hold that against him either. I'll judge him on his accomplishments in office. It's apparent that the white people in Jackson either voted for him, or were not against him enough to go vote for someone else.

Anonymous said...

Bottom line, Brad Chism MISSED by a mile. Why? Because Brad Chism is NOT a pollster.

Anonymous said...

Everyone is forgetting there is a general election next. The Republican leadership engineered Lumumba's win to motivate its base to get out the vote. Make Jackson great again!

Anonymous said...

How about his associates? Will you judge him on that? How about a fundraiser sponsored by NYC Socialists called "The Big Payback" which Antar has NEVER publicly denounced. How about his supporters claiming he will build a "human rights city"?

Talk is cheap. Look who he runs with. Look who he owes. Let's see if he governs ALL people equally in his human rights city. Let's see if he appoints people of all races to positions in his government. Let's see if he awards contracts to the most qualified rather than the blackest company. Let's see if he fixes the roads and the sewers before he builds a monument to his father.

Maybe all his New York supporters will move down here to enjoy the "human rights city" they helped to bring about. Maybe they'll leave Manhattan and Brooklyn and move to Presidential Hills and Lake Hico.

Wait and see, but if you're honest, you KNOW how this story is going to turn out.

Word in Madison is that Armstrong is winning boxes

This gem at 8:15 last night. Sounds like the Fondren-based "We Hate Mary" coalition was engaged in some MAJOR wishful/delusional thinking.

Hey, all you smug people who talk about how great Jackson is (while living in the white neighborhoods)? You got your mayor. Good luck with him. Madison chose the woman who has been largely responsible for making the town the most desired residence in the metro area, so you can STFU about her and go read your free weekly full of its petty screeds against all those racists north of the county line.

Anonymous said...

Jackson is finally in the endgame on its path to becoming Detroit which is actually a good thing. The place has to completely collapse before it can be rebuilt, and now that will happen.

The only Jacksonians I feel sorry for are the ones who are too elderly to have moved sooner. The rest of y'all had time and have earned your fate.

The radicals didn't support Lumumba because they thought he's a middle-of-the-road kind of guy.

Jackson is dead and you may be also if you stupidly decide to go in there.

Madison Continues To Roll.. said...

Can't imagine that Armstrong (rides white horse into Madison) got a thousand votes. Nobody ever heard of him and he's never voted in a Madison election. The only answer to this is there are a thousand out there who chose to vote against Mary.

I'm sure they had their reasons, like: Apartments, tattoo parlors, check-cashing and pay-day loan bidnesses headed to town with Armstrong, less police protection and maybe some who are the parents of Fondrenites and want to see their LGBT chilluns come home. What other possible reasons could there be? Oh, wait...fake stucco haters, forgot those.

Anonymous said...

Word in Madison is that Armstrong is winning boxes, said May 2, 2017 at 8:13 PM

Really? Did he win a single box? All he won was a seat at Rudy's dinner table.

Anonymous said...

Jackson just elected a guy who knows less about government than he does about law.

It's hard to believe we have moved from the likes of Ditto to this.

The state will be forced to take over parts of Jackson soon to protect its assets.

Anonymous said...

Nothing changes in Jackson with any election other than one thing. The sign over the City of Jackson Employment Office changes names of the operator.

Anonymous said...

@12:27am. Clearly you don't live in the city of Pearl and you definitely don't know anything about Jake Windham. He's actually a former police officer 16 years and took a bullet for the City of Pearl ( sure as hell beats "scaling an 8ft fence"), second his campaign was self funded, and third he's said MANY times that the Pearl Seperate School District is the best thing to happen to the City of Pearl. These lies and falsehoods you are sharing are nothing more than propoganda from others that can easily be debunked with a little research. He is a current member of the Pearl Touchdown Club (has been for years) as well as the PHS Health Council AND he has no children in the district. (His kids are 3 &1). Next time you try to spew lies, you might want to make sure you know what you're talking about.

Anonymous said...

6:10. In an April 27th article in the clarion ledger, CAL, specifically said that he didn't organize or attend the event in New York. He went on to say that the event did not represent his campaign which represents all people. He has already said he wants to work with people who didn't support him. I agree that we will all wait and see, but blatantly lying like you are doing is wrong and irresponsible.

Anonymous said...

Folks, look at how many people voted in the primary. Less than 300 Republicans voted versus nearly 34,000 Democrats. To me this indicates apathy and capitulation - good luck Jackson!

Anonymous said...

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR MAYOR MARY. ANOTHER 4 YEARS TO MAKE MADISON EVEN GREATER THAN IT IS!!! MAYBE CROSBY AND ARMSTRONG WOULD HAVE A BETTER CHANCE IN RIDGELAND. SORRY MARY HATERS!!!!

Anonymous said...

What's the law on those that voted as Democrats in the Primary, can they vote as Republicans in the General election?

Are you really that ignorant? You don't even qualify as a troll.

Anonymous said...

How anyone missed this is beyond me. Jackson elected his dad, Edwin Taliaferro, and the city has only gotten less diverse since then. How could you possibly think Little Farrakhan would lose?

Anonymous said...

7:38, there was little point in voting in the republican primary (even if you are a republican) because all of the candidates were in the democratic primary. Were you aware that you have to chose one or the other when voting? If I have to explain to you why no one voted in the republican primary then I can't help you.

Anonymous said...

He also didn't denounce the phrase or concept of "The Big Payback". It isn't what he says, it is what he doesn't say. Get a clue.

Anonymous said...

The few remaining precincts in Jackson that can still be identified as at least super-majority white didn't support Antar.

Kali Akuno is licking his chops.

Anonymous said...

8:07, quit making excuses, and yes I do understand that you can only vote in the primary of your declared party; and no, not ALL of the candidates were in the democrat primary, there were two choices in the republican primary. But let's get serious, turnout of less than 300 is troubling (for ANY election).

Anonymous said...

24 months and they won't even have running water in Jackson. Welcome to Detroit Jr!

Anonymous said...

Your commentary 8:16 AM betrays your utter lack of knowledge regarding Jackson electoral politics.

Anonymous said...

Seriously, does anyone want to buy my house in Belhaven? Any reasonable offer will be considered. Refer to me by timestamp.

Anonymous said...

Jackson residents are resilient. They have a solid history and a desire for rebuilding. Businesses will come back and people will move from the suburbs to the newly, updated, safe urban areas...wait...what? BabyChok won? Ruuuuuuuuuunnnnnnnnnn!!!! Slash your home price and get out while you can! Meanwhile, you can thank Madison, Ridgeland, Pearl and Brandon for employing your kids and your adults. This is the Donald Trump backlash. It's expected. The majority of Jacksonians will never understand the history of the Democrat Party and their firm hand in racism and division. The Democrats invented the KKK, invented Jim Crow, voted against the right to vote for blacks and continue to "bamboozle" their help. Of course, having a boatload of checks and benefits is nice but your disability is more than just a handicap sticker. It's ignorance and a continuous cycle of poverty and grievance which will never, ever get you anywhere but chained to the political plantation.

Anonymous said...

Maybe the anemic turnout for the Republican primary has something to do with the anemic leadership of the rapidly shrinking Hinds County GOP.

Anonymous said...

Now Tillman can sell all those boarded up properties to Antar's co-ops.

Maybe they can set up satellite composting operations in the backyard of each property.

Composting co-ops. Jackson's economic watershed moment!

Anonymous said...

8:33 AM. I got a reasonable 5 bucks.

Payback is coming said...

Chokwe went to New York, spoke at the meeting, and kept EVERY DAMNED DIME they raised for him, so a dance around it by saying it wasn't his fault is not a refutation of that event, the title, or that bitter attitude of retribution.

If a white candidate went to an event that was sponsored by an organization with a history of racial animus called something like "Dixie Rises Again", then said, "um...I didn't know about that and my campaign is for all people" while keeping the money, every race hustler from Boston to San Francisco would be in Jackson screaming and the media would be there to expose the troubling racism in Mr. X's candidacy.

The only one lying is Chokwe. If that event was not representative of his campaign, then he should have left the moment he saw the poster and refused the money.

Always follow the money.

Anonymous said...

8:07. I'm not sure how I can state it any clearer. In the 4/27 clarion ledger article he states that the New York event (which you are referring to as the big paypack) did not represent his campaign. He said he didn't have anything to do with it. Are you expecting him or other politicians to disavow every single specific thing that someone says about him? But you go be you and continue to make up bs for the sake of doing so. I did not vote for him but will defend it when people are deliberately spreading false info.

To all, you bootleg backwoods snobs of Brandon and Madison, stop pretending like you guys have Ikea's, boutique 5-star restaurants, Rolls-Royce Dealerships in your neighborhood! You guys have the same thing every middle-class suburban neighborhood have across this country - McDonald's, Applebees, Domino's Pizza, and a bunch of Subway's - basically same things as Jackson.

941. The answer is his father (who by all accounts was much much more radical than he is) and his strange name. But for the most part the haters all live in the burbs and just like to stir the pot. So Antar went to st joe high school and lives in a gated neighborhood in NEJXN? It is possible to give the guy a chance and grade him on actions?

Antar is a graduate of Callaway. Try again.

BabyChok assured voters on the stump that there wouldn't be a learning curve when he became Mayor. So he owns all the problems on Day 2.

Dude, it's just a Mercedes dealership - if I can afford it, then its not impressive to me and trust me - I can afford at least an E-class and still afford to eat at Ruth's Chris.

Try again

What is something that Madison offers - that New Orleans, Memphis, Birmingham, doesn't?

Two truths : the russians hacked the madison election so the queen would win and spare the rest of mississippi her ignorance and, hinds county is stuck with graham the legend because he couldn't fool enough jackson voters to spare the county.

The majority of us are still residents of Mississippi. Crabs in the barrel.

It's funny that people on here act like living in madison/rankin is some unattainable goal that you taunt jacksonians with. Most of us could go get a cookie cutter with no trees tomorrow and be your neighbors if we wanted.

Significantly lower murder rate.

My sentiments exactly

Chi'please - next time you go out of town, when someone asks you where you're from - please say Madison, LMAO!!!!

A majority of you bootleg janky jokers say, "Jackson" - GTFOH! lol!

@12:29 just made the best post about all of this, in a long time.

People act like the ones of us that CHOOSE to live in Jackson, Pearl, Canton, Ridgeland are all stuck with no where to go. As I tell my friends (majority who live in Madison, the city).. Why in the world would you want to live in Madison? 95% of the houses have zero yard, and zero privacy.

Are the politics better in Madison the city than some other places? Of course, no question. But at what point is so many houses too many, and at what point is being able to touch your neighbors house from your own not miserable!

Carry on...

Arguing over who lives in the least shitty municipality in the metro seems counterproductive at best, and at worst like you don't have the stones to strike out anywhere else.

Some of us are here by choice. Hell, some of us even came back to try and make it better. You wonder why there's a brain drain?

Definitely better school systems

Never have & Never will! I'm from Brandon by way of Oxford & proud of it!!

2:25 - Look in the mirror and tell us how it feels to be full of shit. You lied about the privacy and lot sizes in Madison just like you've lied about fake-stucco for five years. Stucco is stucco. No such thing as fake.

Take a look at the protective covenants of neighborhoods in Madison as well as proposals that have come before the Planning Commission over the past, say twelve years, and you'll learn a bit about required lot size. Otherwise, you're full of shit....but I already told you that.

Plain ol' Catfish said...

Betters schools than those places! Ha!

Then they say to you, "where's Brandon?" LOL!!! and you reply, "Oh, it's a suburb of Jackson" - nice try Colonel Reb

Excuse me, Hattie McDaniel, but it's common for people to identify the largest municipality in their area when telling people outside that location where they are from, even if they don't live there.

People from Euless, TX will tell those unfamiliar with the Mid Cities that they're from Dallas. People from Arvada, CO will say they're from Denver. People from Olathe, KS will say they live in Kansas City. That's common practice. Don't act like it's not.

When someone from the Jackson metro or from elsewhere in Mississippi asks me where I live, I invariably say Madison. If they're from Boston or Seattle or Omaha, I'll say Jackson. It's not because I long to be associated with a human rights city whose primary industries are hair salons, mega-churches, and the soon-to-be booming business of taking back power for Black and Brown communities. It's because Jackson is the capital and is identifiable.

Even a 50-year-old man who insists on going by his "rappa name" knows that.

Even Donner didn't move to one of Jackson's challenged neighborhoods.

Of course, she didn't. All of the sanctimonious white folks who brag about how THEY choose to live in Jackson and about how great it is, etc. live in Wards 1 or 7. More specifically, in Fondren, Belhaven, or NE Jackson.

Hey, May 2, 2017 at 10:30 PM / "Sucks that Gene won",
I assure you that Ford was not the right boy for the job. He may be after he gets grown, leaves his mama, holds a grown-up job, maybe has a little management experience, but now is not his time. Can't fault him though, as the West Ridgeland-ites recruited him for their anti-Gene slate. (How petty of them). Gene has tried to clean up the County Line area and apartment complexes and has made progress. "Money going into his bike trails, pretty street signs, etc", thank you, Sir.
P.S. It should be would have "run".

Cat is out of the bag that Chokwe Sr. zoomed the budget during his short time in office and left the Jackson treasury in a verifiable state of financial disaster.

To you guys complaining about Lumumba's failure to repudiate the NYC fundraiser (assuming, for argument's sake, that you're correct), where were you when Trump took so long to disavow the KKK endorsing him for President? Crickets? I thought so.

This dipshit comment really doesn't deserve a response, but I'll give it one.

Trump did not court the KKK. He did not accept money from them. He did not fly across the country to speak at any of their events. He did not embrace their endorsement. And you don't allow the KKK to control the dialogue (like the media was eager to do). You ignore them.

Antar knew exactly what this group was about, what the fundraiser was for, and what those people expected. He did not return the money. He was there, shaking hands and accepting their endorsement wholeheartedly. He is beholden to them. The only reason he backpedaled the tiny bit he did is because he got called out on his engagement in the event, and that is due to KF and JJ.

Quite a difference.

GTFOH - "it's identifiable"

I call bullish*t - because you can always say you are from Madison, a suburb of Jackson - since you DO NOT want to be associated with Jackson.

But of course you don't want to say that to someone from Boston, Seattle or Omaha - because you know what comes behind it - the stigma of being from some ol' po-dunk Mississippi town. But of course if you say, Jackson then they give you the benefit of the doubt of living in the city.

But of course you want the benefits of living in the city once you leave Mississippi, but once you get back in Mississippi its a different story.

That's the thing about the suburbanites of Jackson, a good number of you are some fake ass people.

But of course you jokers want to tell folks you are from the city, because you know suburbanites are looked upon as soft and fragile. That's what many of you are in a first place - soft and fragile.

So if you hate Jackson that much, just claim your little suburban town when you go out of state. Ol' soft as Charmaine jokers! LOL!

Anonymous said...

Forget that, 5:43. Yankees from Boston or anybody from Seattle don't ask folksy Southern questions like, "Where y'all from?" They are arrogant, insulting and don't give a shit. So this is all an imaginary problem.

Fake-ass Charmaine (sic) said...

Call BS all you want, but you're wrong and you know you're wrong. Jackson has no cachet, in state or out. It's merely employed as a reference point on a map.

You can always tell a punk is getting frustrated because he starts to "run home". Polite talk and faux erudition give way to taunting, foul language, name calling, and ghetto-style boasting. The real person comes out.

I'm sure these tactics make you king of your homies in a rap battle, but they don't work here in the adult world.

You're mildly amusing, i.e. it's funny to watch you revert to hip-hop trash talk, but now you're boring. So long.

'Faux Erudition'? Is that sorta like becoming a wordy elocutionist and then saying 'bye bye'?

12:29 - I agree with you! I'm a life long resident of Canton. I remember and have seen it change from the boycotts of the early 60's to today. Some things are better some things are worse. Its still pretty much the same town with the exception of having to go somewhere other than the square to get something that you need.

What is going to kill Canton is the fact that CMU now has management that has no clue of how to run a utility. The men and women that have been with CMU for 20+ years are retiring. It is only a matter of time until the Blackmons bleed it dry defending against Warnock 6 million lawsuit. Once CMU is bled dry and sold of canton will be DONE. CMU is the only thing keeping Canton afloat.

Trollfest '09

Trollfest '07 was such a success that Jackson Jambalaya will once again host Trollfest '09. Catch this great event which will leave NE Jackson & Fondren in flames. Othor Cain and his band, The Black Power Structure headline the night while Sonjay Poontang returns for an encore performance. Former Frank Melton bodyguard Marcus Wright makes his premier appearance at Trollfest singing "I'm a Sweet Transvestite" from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." Kamikaze will sing his new hit, “How I sold out to da Man.” Robbie Bell again performs: “Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be Bells” and “Any friend of Ed Peters is a friend of mine”. After the show, Ms. Bell will autograph copies of her mug shot photos. In a salute to “Dancing with the Stars”, Ms. Bell and Hinds County District Attorney Robert Smith will dance the Wango Tango.

Wrestling returns, except this time it will be a Battle Royal with Othor Cain, Ben Allen, Kim Wade, Haley Fisackerly, Alan Lange, and “Big Cat” Donna Ladd all in the ring at the same time. The Battle Royal will be in a steel cage, no time limit, no referee, and the losers must leave town. Marshand Crisler will be the honorary referee (as it gives him a title without actually having to do anything).

Meet KIM Waaaaaade at the Entergy Tent. For five pesos, Kim will sell you a chance to win a deed to a crack house on Ridgeway Street stuffed in the Howard Industries pinata. Don't worry if the pinata is beaten to shreds, as Mr. Wade has Jose, Emmanuel, and Carlos, all illegal immigrants, available as replacements for the it. Upon leaving the Entergy tent, fig leaves will be available in case Entergy literally takes everything you have as part of its Trollfest ticket price adjustment charge.

Donna Ladd of The Jackson Free Press will give several classes on learning how to write. Smearing, writing without factchecking, and reporting only one side of a story will be covered. A donation to pay their taxes will be accepted and she will be signing copies of their former federal tax liens. Ms. Ladd will give a dramatic reading of her two award-winning essays (They received The Jackson Free Press "Best Of" awards.) "Why everything is always about me" and "Why I cover murders better than anyone else in Jackson".

In the spirit of helping those who are less fortunate, Trollfest '09 adopts a cause for which a portion of the proceeds and donations will be donated: Keeping Frank Melton in his home. The “Keep Frank Melton From Being Homeless” booth will sell chances for five dollars to pin the tail on the jackass. John Reeves has graciously volunteered to be the jackass for this honorable excursion into saving Frank's ass. What's an ass between two friends after all? If Mr. Reeves is unable to um, perform, Speaker Billy McCoy has also volunteered as when the word “jackass” was mentioned he immediately ran as fast as he could to sign up.

In order to help clean up the legal profession, Adam Kilgore of the Mississippi Bar will be giving away free, round-trip plane tickets to the North Pole where they keep their bar complaint forms (which are NOT available online). If you don't want to go to the North Pole, you can enjoy Brant Brantley's (of the Mississippi Commission on Judicial Performance) free guided tours of the quicksand field over by High Street where all complaints against judges disappear. If for some reason you are unable to control yourself, never fear; Judge Houston Patton will operate his jail where no lawyers are needed or allowed as you just sit there for minutes... hours.... months...years until he decides he is tired of you sitting in his jail. Do not think Judge Patton is a bad judge however as he plans to serve free Mad Dog 20/20 to all inmates.

Trollfest '09 is a pet-friendly event as well. Feel free to bring your dog with you and do not worry if your pet gets hungry, as employees of the Jackson Zoo will be on hand to provide some of their animals as food when it gets to be feeding time for your little loved one.

Relax at the Fox News Tent. Since there are only three blonde reporters in Jackson (being blonde is a requirement for working at Fox News), Megan and Kathryn from WAPT and Wendy from WLBT will be on loan to Fox. To gain admittance to the VIP section, bring either your Republican Party ID card or a Rebel Flag. Bringing both and a torn-up Obama yard sign will entitle you to free drinks served by Megan, Wendy, and Kathryn. Get your tickets now. Since this is an event for trolls, no ID is required. Just bring the hate. Bring the family, Trollfest '09 is for EVERYONE!!!

This is definitely a Beaver production.
