As someone posted on JJ a while back:
Don't cry for me Itta Bena!
Considering how far Itta Bena is behind on paying MEAM their electric supply bills, plus their many other unpaid obligations, I would have thought this woman had taken considerably more $$s. Where is the rest of it? Current Itta Bena Mayor Thelma Collins should qualify for sainthood for trying once again to help her city and straighten out the mess which happened in another mayor's term. But one has to wonder if the city is simply beyond help.
I can't imagine that the entire Itta Bena budget is much bigger than that. Where did she find access to that much money?
How can you steal $100,000.00 from a town of 2100 and think you can get away with it. Where did this $ come from? That's $5000.00 for every man, woman, and child in that town.
