The sentencing for former MDOC Commissioner Chris Epps and Rankin County prison tycoon Cecil McCrory is postponed. Both defendants were scheduled to be sentenced by U.S. District Judge Henry Wingate.
Kingfish note: These two defendants will probably be sentenced at the end of the prosecution of this scandal so as to make sure they cooperate.

The fat lady just arrived at the opera house. There are a lot of scenes before she takes the stage. To be continued....
I would think there is tour of this opera in 8 or 9 counties. Hopefully the dates will be announced before August and save the tax payers some time and money!
My first thought was that they are holding it over his head to get him to cooperate with more prosecutions. I'm really surprised another guy with practically the same resume as McCrory hasn't been arrested already.
A clear sign there are not, or will not be, others prosecuted: the lead federal prosecutor on the case ran off to run for AG.
Will the Federal Justice Department and Loretta Lynch really let a black man take the entire fall when probably thirty white men ought to serve time as well?
The pig hasn't finished squealing yet. He heard what sentencing was going to be, and started squealing some more.
