On Friday, February 6, 2015 at approx. 0423 hours, Jackson Police Officers responded to a possible Armed Robbery of a Business at 4302 N. State St., Burger King. During the preliminary investigation, it was learned that during the course of business hours an employee opened the back door to take out the trash where an unknown black male subject armed with a handgun gained entry into the location demanding the staff to open the safe. There was a brief struggle between one of the employees and the suspect. The suspect fled the scene running on foot without getting any money.
During the follow-up investigation, Robbery/Homicide Detectives developed Joseph Warren as a suspect in this case. Joseph Warren is an employee of Burger King and was at work during this incident. He was detained, later arrested and charged with one count of Attempted Armed Robbery of a Business.
Detectives are trying to identify a second suspect in this incident. He is identified only as a black male with an alias of “Kingpin.” Anyone with any information on the identity of this subject is urged to contact the Jackson Police Department at 601-960-1234 or 601-355-TIPS (8477).

Kingpin / Kingfish? I don't know. Too close. Where were you between 0400 & 0500 on Feb. 6.
Why is it that Burger King employees hate the business so much that they want to rob it as an inside job. Madison BK was robbed twice with employees the main culprits.
