Some snitching hater's out there running his mouth and raising the price of weed for everybody.
Waste of time and police resources. When has a pot smoker ever hurt anyone?!?
Lewis just got re-elected.
someone did not pay off the right folks once again, or just darn fine police work.
I feel much safer knowing that the pot heads will be on crack and meth tonight.
Its weed! The stuff is legal in some states! Can't the Sheriff stop bragging about his pot busts? Don't they have real criminals to go after??
Two words...Paul, fucking, Barrett. That guy was a master at governing over weed distribution in Warren County back in the day. No relevance, just brought back memories.
Looks like oregano
There is also crack cocaine alongside. But now I understand what is wrong with some of you bloggers; you are pot heads. No energy to do anything but bitch on this blog. LOL. And don't bet that pot never hurt anyone. You have your head in the sand or maybe in the smoke.
If Mac runs it's a wrap for Tyrone, this media parade won't matter.
The comments on this supposedly conservative blog make me very hopeful for seeing the legalization of marijuana in this State.
9:14,
that's the flash reflecting off the bags, not crack.
check your bifocals.
There was no crack dumbass
Legalized pot ain't gonna happen in Mississippi.
How about the jail Tyrone? Inmates are running the jail. Instead of making a pot bust, why not get the inmates back under control. I hear they are destroying the new pod.
Good work HCSO!
"Waste of time and police resources. When has a pot smoker ever hurt anyone?!?"
Ever heard of Dylan and Eric from COLUMBINE? They "smoked weed"
Also: Ted Bundy, Jeffrey Dahmer, and Ed Gein.
And the smoking of "weed" figured prominently in the Knoxville Horror (torture/rape/mutilation/murder of two college students, by a pack of druggies)
To few comments lauding this arrest, there is really only one question:
America has now spent over 1 TRILLION dollars on the WoD. What did you get for you money? What is the honest ROI?
What's been the honest ROI from the War on Poverty?
2:04 - what is your point? That those people wouldn't have committed such horrible acts if they hadn't smoked weed? If you believe that, I want whatever you are smoking.
Stupid energy spent on enforcing weed laws. What a waste. Would have been better to volunteer that time working on the Jessica Chambers case.
Pot is nothing more than lotus to a bunch of brain dead morons who's rights are being eroded away by the government. Keep smoking dummy, you will be in shackles soon enough.
9:13, the WoP has been a failure. I assume you agree & that we should find a better strategy-correct?
Sorry, I work for the government. What does ROI mean?
6:34 - Considering the swell of people incarcerated, arrested, and otherwise derailed due to the criminalization of a harmless activity, the honest ROI would likely be negative.
7:41 Are you in the Dept of Finance?
Wait...Education.
I don't even smoke. But let's legalize it Mississippi.
"What's been the honest ROI from the War on Poverty?"
Can't say - the recipients spent it all on weed, apparently :-)
9:41 hit it on the head.
The case study of prohibition has virtually a 100% correlation to the case of the war on pot. We are making criminals out of otherwise law abiding citizens and we are empowering organized crime. Government just thinks they can ban stuff-- they are wrong.
