Check out Hanging Moss Creek by Jackson Academy yesterday.
Meanwhile, over in Pearl, this poor business could not catch a break yesterday.

Wet Tamales.
Where does all that crap come from?
Just wait till Richards leaves.
Ain’t nobody picking up the garbage so it goes in the creek. Thanks Mair
That's a lot of boo boo.
It's all fun and games until the raw boo boo makes an appearance.
The snakes are not going to be happy.
Anyone heard about the sewage that filled hartfield academy’s hallways yesterday shutting the school down all week? Those same folks in rankin are the ones that tossed their crap into the pearl that ends up in Eubanks creek.
(To future builders) Well, it’s not exactly Yazoo clay; more like a blend.
This "comes" from all of you and your children who throw debris into the waters that feed the creeks and to the towns who don't keep growth cut in those creeks.
And, I have my garbage picked up twice a week and I don't put it out in a manner that allows every raccoon in town a buffet!
Most of that falls on the homeless population around there. There is a homeless village set up by Entergy’s power station and the Library over there. They run them off from time to time, but they come back. They trash the creek running through there.
People throw their trash out on the street then cry for help when the drains and creeks stop up.
Another weather crisis to blame the water system dysfunction on.
@9:28 AM - Those creeks feed the Pearl River, not the other way around.
When the river floods it backs up all the creeks.
9:28 you got some bad info, dropped my kids off this AM, school as usual
9:28 and 11:39 - yes, it is possible that when the river floods (which it hasn't done yet; that's another post of what's coming) it backs up in the creeks. But, what happened yesterday has not caused a backup in the creeks. And, what is dumped at Hartfield would hit the river too far south to back up Eubanks Creek.
Want to try again for a third strick and be out for good?
Hartfield was open all week …..
