Are you dissatisfied with the online curriculum for your child while they are stuck at home? Do your children need to work on their reading? A real gem popped up on Amazon.
The McGuffey's Readers have been around for over a hundred years. Amazon offers the whole set for the grand total of $5.99 Amazon Link, truly a bargain. The readers are based on Phonics. Numerous parents have told me they are superior to what is available in the schools - public or private, especially for kids who struggle with reading. It's only $5.99. Hardback sets can be found on Ebay for $50 and up. Enjoy.
Posted below is the Fourth Reader.

I might be wrong, buy last I heard Amazon wasn't shipping anything besides survival essentials.
Still a great idea. Since they look old enough to be public domain, folks should be able find them on the book search of http://archive.org or on the Library of Congress website.
Don't know what Kindle is, do you, Boomer?
Amazon's shipping everything. I've gotten about half a dozen packages from them in just the last week.
Great idea, and I'm a Boomer with a Kindle. Will pass this information along to our daughter.
Of course, Louis, you could just spend the $5.99 and sent it to her as a gift.
My school used these back when I was in fourth and fifth grades. Hated them then, now realize how good they were.
Nobody learns nothing in an online course. I know from experience.
