It appears there is a winner in the Battle of Maywood Mart:
The owners of Maywood Mart tried to terminate Pizza Hut's lease but the two sides settled the case. It appears this scene is the settlement.

Who really cares? Pizza Hut is a very poor mans Papa Johns. Plastic crust & stale sauce/cheese. If anything, they help PJ's Maywood Mart's sales.
Everyone has their own opinion. I prefer PH over Papa John, but I won't be so hateful about something like pizza
I think this is about rights and bullies and contracts (leases), not pizzas.
I live off Northside drive a few blocks from Maywood mart... my family has several strip center properties in Louisiana and alabama... my dad said pizza Hut was hell to deal with in our Birmingham location. Problem is they have deep pockets and Lawyers out tthewazoo. They generally always win w
A business asserting itself and enforcing contracts is a "problem" Junior?
Good for Pizza Hut. Those new owners have done nothing but bully and torment the existing, beloved tenants in that shopping center. I want my hardware store back!
Pizza Wars ... We will fight them in the sauces. We will fight them one the crusties. We will fight them on the pepperonis and sausages. We will fight them on the peppers, onions, mushrooms and leases.
IMO Pappa Johns skims on the sauce. Why buy a pizza with a 3 inch strip of bare crust all the way round the pie? If I want pizza bread, I'll buy Pizza Bread.
Give me sauce or give me death!
