The city of Jackson dug up this stretch of road down to at least four feet several months ago. Nothing like seeing a long sewage pipe in the middle of a major road.

The sewage is IN the pipe. Quit complaining.
drive by there every day, dug the really long 4' deep hole, but. . .oops. . .forgot to put the pipe in before they filled the hole
At Northside and Kimwood the City doesn't even bother with the pipe.
Pay attention! King Kong take large dump.
Aaah, the above ground sewer pipe system, a feature exclusively designed by IMS Engineering?! Fabulous! That pipe looks pretty skrait as well!
You can tell yo mama fat jokes all day long unless someone's mom is the size of a city bus...
Crappy infrastructure top to bottom and no perceptible plan to correct it. Sewage pumps all over the city pumping crap around sewer breaks, roads suck, etc. It's incredible and incredibly sad and I can't say that there is much hope on the horizon with the caliber of the people being elected into "leadership" positions...
1:35 - I'm pretty sure the pipe should be IN the ground, not above it, and I"m also pretty sure that all it will take is one person texting and driving before the sewage is no longer IN the pipe, but spewing all over the street. I'm sure you'll be first in line to volunteer to literally clean that sh*t up, so thanks. Keep up the good work, fellow Jackganistanian. -mr37
2:24. Um, 1:35 was joking. Sheesh
There's a King of Pawn on West Street?!?!
Big money, here I come!!!
Someone's sarcasm meter is broken.
@1:53
IMS doesn't have anyone competent enough to come up with a design such as this, that is unless the City of Jackson gave them an emergency no-bid contract for several million dollars to do so. Then only their maintenance man would be able to do so since none of their "engineers" have sense enough to s*&t in a toilet, much less figure out how it gets to the Pearl River.
Technically the pipe is there to keep drivers from driving over the soft firehouse like pipe...
Be patient. Rudy will be on task soon.
That is a water pipe I believe
Fresh Market will save the city. Its all about the Pineapples at Costco. Strap Down in Jacktown.
So basically you are saying "IMS couldn't pour piss out of a boot with an arrow marked on the heel"? I'll buy that.
This not about surridge. This about POISON. I think Rankin County done put some POISON in that water, to get rid of all us over here. Now Jackson got to pump it out of the ground.
6:49 "That is a water pipe I believe"
Yes and no. That's a sewage pump most likely pumping sewage (could be storm water). But the pipe itself appears to be water pipe, which is also commonly used for pressurized sewer pipes (force mains) due to its more robust design than typical sewer force main pipe.
Has anyone traversed Plantation Boulevard recently? The City has apparently started creating potholes, only they've made them impossible to drive around by ensuring they stretch from curb to curb.
