Say it ain't so? Yes, it is so. Two Sisters is closed. The picture shown below was taken at noon today.
The parking lot is empty and a sign on the door says "closed for AC repair" but it has been on the door all week.
Property tax records state the owner of the restaurant is Two Sisters Holdings, LLC. The Secretary of State's website state that the "Managing Member" of the LLC is Debra Buchanan. The longtime face of Two Sisters has been Miss Diane. One hopes that a golden goose was not slain.

Hope they not gone for good !
If you want a good buffet try the Golden Corral in Madison. I won't spend a dime in Jackson.
12:59
Where is Golden Corral in Madison ?
Queen Mary wouldn't allow that !
You must mean Flowood
YEE HIII!!! 12:59!! Priceless comment! Come to one of our chains for the best buffet in Mississippi! I love the rubes on this site, whose excursions into the world mean a trip to the Mississippi Rodeo and the state fair once a year.
The owner has closed to take care of her sick mother per their Facebook page.
It's gonna be a strip club called "two sisters whisker biscuits"
The "rubes" are the ones that confuse Northeast Jerkson with the Upper East Side. Yeah. You dine nightly at 11MP, at "the 'best' table," surrounded by your posse all dressed in hick couture. In your delusion of grandeur. "Lobster thermidor again tonight, Mr. Wayne? Why, of course, Alfred." ROFL. You put the bat in Batman.
2:01, that would match nicely with Upper Crust Jackson and that sushi restaurant in the former Danny's, adjacent to the Richer Hicks Tennis Club/Hissy Fit Convention Center. And McDonald's. Only the finest of things in Northeast Jerkson. Even the shootouts are better.
Two Sisters is a great place to eat. Consistantly good fried chicken and veggies and bread. Hope this is temporary.
Never ceases to amaze me how nearly incomprehensible posts from some Madisonians can be while they're foaming at the mouth over Jackson, and especially NE Jackson, and trying to be clever at the same time. Anyway, not that I get there often these days, but sure hope Two Sisters being closed really is a temporary thing.
Good lord people, 12:59 was trolling you, and y'all fell for it. There sure are some dense posters on this site.
They could sell it to a suitable buyer, keep the name & the food. The thing about independent/ family run businesses is that when you have to leave for whatever reason, its game over unless you trust someone enough to run it for you. There's no corporate hierarchy in place to continue things.
Madison out to trade out the dump the built called Taco Bell and put in a Golden Corral. Taco Bell is the down fall to Madison, Mississippi.
Get help 2:05 and 2:13.
I never could figure out how Two Sisters got the "best fried chicken in Jackson" award. It was from a steam table, was awful and NOT the best fried chicken in Jackson. I am sorry for the owner having to close the business but.....there are much better places to get good fried chicken that's fresh and hasn't been sitting on a steam table....and much better buffets in surrounding areas. Not that I'm a fan of buffets. I do not like food to sit out for people to sneeze over and handle common serving utensils.
Ok 6:39. I'll play. Who has better fried chicken???
6:39
Where is there better fried chicken?
Thanks
And I can't figure out how negative, whiney bitches like you get a date. Much less a girlfriend.....or boyfriend for that matter. National accolades galore and your insignificant ass, that ain't done shit in your worthless life, criticizes. Please enjoy Canes in Flowood neck.
@7:29- Fannin Mart in Flowood for starters.
I have only eaten at Two Sisters with out-of=town company that have heard of it and want to try it. They are invariably disappointed. The fried chicken may be great (I don't know; can't eat it) but the vegetables are right out of a can and not seasoned. I'm sorry the lady is having trouble, but this is yet another example of a restaurant riding on its reputation.
Attn 4:08 Sober up and try tomorrow.
Y'all made it sound like better fried chicken was all over the place.....
The fried chicken was different at 2 Sisters because she peeled the skin off and added a batter which was fried.
And if you didn't like it....thousands more did...every time.
And the vegetables were not out of a can.
But you and steve bannon keep trying.
Nothing lasts forever, especially in the restaurant business. I say they should get out while the getting is good. I was there a year ago, only because an oldie but goodie dragged me there, remembering the good days. I really just prefer Chick Fil A myself.
Can we get some more info on OM? Real news!
Hate it about Two Sisters . . . and the Fannin Mart in Flowood may be on par.
But if one finds themselves in the Natchez area, cross the bridge and hit the Dodge Store between Vidalia & Ferriday, Louisiana.
It's better than the 1990 High Street Texaco,
@9:08 Thanks for being a twat and injecting politics into a non-political discussion.
The Fannin Mart!? That roach infested place!? LMAO!!!
8:20. You need to get out more. Fannin Mart has been in a new location for about 5 years now.
Havent been to fannin mart since i was a youngster. Do they still have fried corn on the cob?
Most people in Madison are from south and west Jackson anyway. They can pretend all they want to.
Any chester fried at any random gas station has better fried chicken, Reed Pierces in Byram has the best fried chicken you will ever eat but because its not in downtown jacktown nobody cares.
Are you sure they 'peeled the skin off' and battered the chicken? Never knew that. Great chicken crisp for sure.
Whoever recommended Chic-fil-A for fried chicken provided a good laugh. If you find yourself in the Flora area, swing by Rameys deli. Mac's on 51 in Ridgeland has super fried chicken as well, but not quiet the ambiance most of you prefer unless you plan take-home. I remember when Krystal had good fried chicken too and occasionally they would wipe down the seats in those plastic booths.
I haven't been there in years, due to the fact I only come to Jackson 2x a year. I always eat at Taqueria La Guadalupe in Ridgeland. If it wasnt for those orgasmic tacos, Id be eating that amazing chicken, and I hate fried chicken. That being said, I do hope they open back up.
Johnny.....Please come current. John Holmes is so frackin' yesterday. Ditch the dream, you can't cut it anyway. Your wife has approved my post.
Golden Corral is coming to Madison soon enough. Have you not heard? Madison is for sale. Lopping down every hundred year old tree and welcoming every low rent roof-top. Edging slowly to the east. Watch for it.
The Mayflower in Downtown Jackson has the best fried chicken anywhere in the area. It is on the lunch special every Friday.
Some of the best fried chicken in town is at any McDade's deli. And, yes, it is true that Two Sisters' fried chicken was skinless, which is amazing considering how crispy it was - or is -- hope they reopen. I did think it was overpriced though, for such a small/limited buffet and having to carry your plate upstairs.
Anything new here? I'm still hoping the sign is correct and Two Sisters will reopen soon.
I am so sorry that they're closed, I do hope it's temporary. Oh and if you want the best Buffet in Madison and if they're still open; you can't bet Mama Hamil's.
Has Two Sister's reopened or are they closed for good?
I worked there in the mid 2000. I still dream about their fried chicken!!_
