Need we say more? Yes, As wonderful as Audrey Hepburn is, Marni Nixon deserves accolades. As for going out to the theater, No thank you. I can watch from the comfort of my own home on a 4K big screen with a fine sound system. The restored version of this movie looks and sounds excellent.
Audrey Hepburn was a little doll!
I still think she was the mother of Winona Ryder and
Natalie Portman.
I feel sorry for you 4:11. You can never simulate the age-old experience of buying a ticket at the window and walking into the picture show where the smell of fresh-buttered popcorn transports you to another dimension.
@5:39
You can buy Ickes at the kiosk.
Fresh buttered popcorn? More like a garbage bag popped a week ago dumped into the heat lamp and covered with the oil.
It transports me alright, but to the br and not days of wine and roses.
Thanks King. Seen it twice and will go again on Sunday.
7:50 - Sounds like you have not been to a theatre in a while. We go as often as we can and almost always see them popping corn as we stand in line to buy our $7.00 bucket and $3.50 coke. I know they are expensive, but I love sitting in the dark with a huge screen and very good sound. Not many experiences are better.
Yes 508 , Audrey Hepburn was a doll, and did a great job acting. Too bad she couldn't sing like Julie Andrews who could definitely sing, and did a good job acting as well on Broadway.
Thanks for posting, Kingfish.
Audrey Hepburn was one of the heroes of the Dutch Resistance.
Yep 10:45, Miss Andrews was the better singer.
But Miss Hepburn was by far the more beautiful of those two.
Thanks, KF. A great film.
