If I weren't so lazy and have to drive too far, I'd love to see it on the big screen. It's a great movie.
Actually rosebud may have referred to something completely different if you dig deep.

Rosebud was the sled and did have deeper meaning..the last memory of his mother and comfort of being in that home. Also, it was not the first use of deep-focus cinematography but the first time in a bigtime production. Objects near and far remain in focus in the shot.
William Randolph Hearst had a sensitive palate.
