The Pearl Police Department issued the following statement.
Pearl police have made an arrest in the armed
robbery of the Circle K gas station that occurred early Thursday
morning. 30-year-old Joshua Demon Washington was taken into custody
without incident by Flowood police early
Friday morning after officers located his vehicle on Lakeland Drive.
Washington is being held at the Rankin County jail without bond.
Just after 5 a.m. Thursday, Pearl Police received a
911 call from employees at the Circle K at 481 S. Pearson Road, who
reported a robbery. Officers arrived within three minutes and witnesses
told them a man entered the store, produced
a firearm, demanded the clerk open the register, took money and then
fled.
No shots were fired and there were no injuries.
Ridgeland Police say Washington is also a suspect
in an armed robbery of a business that occurred Thursday afternoon near
the Reservoir.

Middle name is Demon, huh? The mom started him early on a path to success...
They should arrest his parent(s) for giving him the middle name “ demon”!
Hinds County. Keep an eye on this one and take lessons on how crime prosecution is supposed to be handled. #allcatchnorelease
Rankin County Sheriff and Flowood Police are the ones who arrested this guy.
Goodbye, Asshole. Good job Rankin boys.
where have we seen Demon before?
i swear he was in the news from prev crimes in New Jack City
Check out his FB page. He's living up to his "Demon" name. What a fine example of a human being...NOT! Trash, pure trash.
What’s your point 2:54? In Rankin County all of the law enforcement agencies work together to get the job done. It makes no difference who lays hands on the criminal or who transports him to jail. Once he gets caught and convicted the result is the same.
NO CATCH AND RELEASE!!!
Joshua is a Biblical name. What went wrong.
